Hello, First to let you know my install that I am having an issue with.... I have a pioneer avh-3200dvd, an sax-50.4 which is powering the IA coaxial speakers in my front stage. The Issue: Yesterday I was going into depth both on my amplifier and the head unit to tune my front stage to my satisfaction. Some 3 hours later, I had gotten it just the way I wanted it. To tune, I unplugged the rcas to pull my amp out to access it, and plugged them back in. The x-over setting on my amp was on full, I switched it to HPF and basically tuned to desire. Does anyone know where i can get a HO Alternator for a 99 dodge durango with 5.2 magnum engine? And what about bypassing the ECU Regulator in this Chrysler work of engineering genius?

Would I be able to run 2 alternators on my 2003 Lancer if i made the bracket and had room for it? If so how would I go about wring the second one in, or could I have it wired to just my audio battery ?

i got a saz-2000 watt amp going to 4 kicker l5 15's, my electrical upgrades are 1 optima yellow top battery 2 runs of 1/0 gauge total 1 pos 1 neg, big 3 upgraded to 1/0 gauge, 200 high out put alt, and 1 die hard platinum p1 in the back, i will be running the amp at 1 ohm, people have told me that i should have much voltage drops others tell me i will, what do u guys think, and i want to get a voltmeter just incase how dou you wire it in

Hey guys... I'm about to do the big 3 in my pontaic g8 and the batter is in the truck.. The alt positive is no problem but I'm trying to work out the engine block ground..... What are my options without putting the wire under the car..... Can I ground the block to the chassis and double up on the chassis grounding points near the battery?

While moving I had to remove my subs and amp from my car. When hooking them back up in haste I hooked up my power cable to the ground and my ground cable to power. Sparks flew and wires were disconnected soon after. The inline 80 amp fuse burned out. Fuses on the amp were fine. After replacing the inline fuse and connecting the amp correctly the amp will not turn on. I checked the fuse in my Alpine 9887 and it was still fine, I replaced it just to make sure. I opened up the amp and everything looks perfect except a few brown solder points located on the steel plate near the ground/power connections. Are these brown spots just left over flux or do these points need to be…

So whats the best head unit i can get for around $120 that fit an E,S,U. Going in a 1993 Range Rover County.

right now i have a cheap 20 dollar line out converter. As you turn up the volume it doesent get any louder, and i know im not getting the full 1200watts. All my electrical is good, my voltage stays at 13v. Are you guys familiar with the jl audio clean sweep? I dont want to get a headunit. All i want is when i turn up my volume it gets louder and louder, right now if i turn it up it stops getting loud, it stops after a certain point. my volune is 30max and when i put it to 16 it doesent get louder??? my current equipment. 12bl fully loaded and sundown sae 1200d. all 0 gauge I have a 15btl and a sundown sax 2500d on order.

Sup, I did a search, but couldn't find anything. I got a pioneer z130bt and a ipod touch. I downloaded a bunch of album photos and they used to show up, but after I downloaded the latest ipod update, I can't get any to show up on my HU even though they show on my ipod. Anybody had this issue?

I bought 2 IDMAX 10" D4's CHEAP, was putting one in the wifes car and selling other but she wants to wait on her stereo. So I am putting both in my expedition. I have never had any ID subs and these are only ones I have heard. I listen to mostly Rock, metal, some country. I have read to do sealed mostly and some say ported. I was either going to run a sundown 1000 or alpine pdx 1000. Any suggestions on these? thanks

I have the BXi1200d right now and i really like it, no problems at all. I saw that the new Brutus (BRZ) is CEA certified, which is nice. Need some extra juice soon so I was looking for a cheap upgrade. Any thoughts, please.

Looks like i may have found a alt for my car finally, talked to Ohio gen and they seem to be able to make a monster little alt for my car 200 at idle 300+ with some throttle. My question is are these guys still building quality products and how is their cs, would love to hear about some experience with Ohio. Thanks.

I have a chance to buy a used Orion hcca 1000.2 amp for less than 70 bucks and the person said it works. Is this a good deal or sounds shady?

I've got Dodge Magnum R/T with 160A stock alternator and from what I hear from other LX vehicle owners, the car's computer controls the alternator output...so upgrading my alternator isn't an option. So with my stock alternator what do you think is the most wattage I can run on my stock electrical? I know that an extra battery (or three) may be necessary along with Big three. Also, since my battery is in the rear, not under the hood, how does that effect things?

If am using a 2200 watts rms amp (does rated power), will there be a big difference if i use 2 gage wire instead of 0/1 gage wire for the big 3?

Ok, I got my new replacement amp back finally. Amp has a sensitivity switch between .1-2 volts and 2-8 volts. My new headunit has 4 volt preouts. When I try to set the gains using the 2-8 volt setting I max the gain and never reach 40 volts (1600 rms). I get around 12 volts on the dmm. When I switch it to the .1-2 volt setting gain goes about 1/3 of the way up and hits 40 volts. Will I damage the amp if I just leave it at the .1-2 volt switch position? And any idea's on why if I have 4 volt preouts I can't reach 40 volts on the 2-8 volt setting? Right now everything is hooked up but I have the amp off on the headunit. Alright so I have 4 Sa-10s coming in the mail this week and will probably build my box next weekend.. So I need to find an amp SOON!!! I don't really know how much power to give the 4 SA-10s but the 3 amps that I have been looking at and looking for used/new are: SAZ-2000d Audioque 2200d Crescendo BC2000d I wanna do this right the first time and get a great amp from the start with this setup. Plus I figure these amps are linkable so in the future I could add a second to match and gain 2x power if needed down the road. Is 2k good for 4 SA-10s? or would 2.5-3k be a better match?
