i know the amp will put out alot of power with out having to strap batteries. im running 1/0 guage and im putting a sundown nightshade d1 15" sub in my s10 blazer im using the system for steet loud

I have a Hifonics Brutis 1208d amp and i lost one of my set screws for the power and ground terminals, does anyone know where i can get a new one? I've tried hardware store and all i can find are set screw that look perfect but I can't find the right size. Its metric and 6mm is too small and 8 is too big, and i can't find a 7.

i have a friend selling this headunit. anyone know anything about them? how are their tuning capabilities? thanks

i have stock electrical, just one 4 gauge run to my alpine pdx 1.600 amp (600rms, 730 peak), but my gauges/instruments dim down to about 50% and my headlights dim terribly. will the big three in 1/0 or 2 gauge solve this problem? i have a 2003 vw passat, im pretty sure my alt does 90 amps..

i yet to get my new head unit, but for when i do waht should i look for on it to makes everything so great, a friend of mine had a system and it sounded good but he got his deck tuned and it sounds 10x better, he can now turn it almost all the way up without any distortion the subs sound more clean and the vocals sound more crips, they never touched his woofers or amps just tuned the head unit, so waht would i look for when i plan on tunning my head unit, Thanks

What amp(s) would run 18 Fi BTLs to the max? Trying to keep it around $1000 give or take. I was looking at the Hifonics XXV Goliath, but I am still not sure. What do you think?

Hello everyone I have a little problem. I just installed another kinetik hc 2400 in my 03 yukon. I am currently running 1 red top under the hood and 2 kinetik hc 1400 and 2 kinetik hc 2400. I'm pushing 2 18's tc sound ultra lms and a ia40. I am waiting for my second one to come. I charged the 5 month old 2400 and one of the 1400. After installing all the batteries and driving for 20 minutes my engine light came on. What's the problem. I tryed removing the connections for 5 mins to reset the computer, but that didn't work. Anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

Im about to buy a 10" icon and a sae-1000D but i was wondering on how i should buy the power wires. I was thinking of buying a wiring kit but they just seem really expensive and im not sure which to get. Or should i just get buy the wire and the connectors and fuses etc. Where could i find good wiring kits and a place to buy wire and connects and fuses online? I know about weldingsupply.com. Im currently checking out amplifiers to be used on an SQ setup in a sedan. Currently looking for good sounding amplifiers that have tremendous flexibilities on its crossover network. As of now all I have seen perfect would be from brand names such as DLS namely the ultimates and Audison namely the LRx. Are these the only options available with those requirements? i find it hard to look for amps with the same crossover functionality like those 2 that can do an active setup. Any other recomendations? Hoping to get feedback possibly that would not go over the said prices of the amps. Possible even cheaper than those two. The lower the price with the same quality and spec w…

so I just got the eclipse AVN 6620 installed and I have one major problem, WHITE NOISE!! The deck emits a constant white noise no matter what the volume. Its not volume influenced. I can have the volume on 0 or 80 and its still the same constant white noise. Me and my installer have tried everything from changing the grounds, rca's, ect... The only thing that stops it is unplugging the rca's from the headunit. Any ideas to stop this??? Is it a bad unit you think??? please help! thanks Eddie

I have a BL 15 D2 running at 2000W (bridged) 4ohm on my US 2000x currently. Would hooking up each coil to each channel yielding 1000W at 2ohm to each coil make any difference? I would say no because 4ohm is more efficient? Thanks

I was originally thinking of going with the alpine 9886 unit, but are there any other notable HU that stand with this unit. Ive looked at pioneers, dont really like their single knob and form, Ive looked at Eclipses, and I dont really like the display, But I havnt looked at Kenwoods, im sort of thinking they lack in quality but my buddy has a touch screen and loves it, so he recommended get a Kenwood. Im looking for a single din, roughly $300 which will have ipod control, and nice 4v pres.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, so move it if needed. Does anyone know if the Termlab with RTA Option (which includes the Oscilloscope function) can use a probe or does it only use the Microphone for the RTA? In other words, can it be used to test the preamp outputs and the amplifier outputs for clipping instead of using a dedicated O-Scope. By the time I price out an O-Scope and RTA I'm pretty much at the price of a Termlab. Thanks, Bob.

I've always been a fan of getting an Alpine H701 with a W505, but I am scared that with the H701 being discontinued I may never find one. So I'd like to find some more options for what is available and capable of 3-way processing. Also would be nice to have a collaborative list here for those to reference to.

so i am gonna get me a 3000d and i want o be able to run it, my zx650.4 and my car at full tilt sometimes so this is what ive come up with d2700 up front d3100 in back big three in 0/1 and one run back to the saz300d ive got 4ga ran already for the zx650.4 how am i doing so far?
