is it ok to have a optima yellow top under the hood and two kinetiks in the back since they both AGM ? or a optima up front and two xs power in the back ??? thanks to those that take their time on replying to my NOOB ass lol i appreciated

well back at the turkey drag show someone broke into my ride and stole all my amps, and my hu, plus some other random stuff. so i figured this is a good chance too upgrade. picked this up off of LEM43606, shipping was fast, he had everything the amp came with as if bought new, even the brown factory shipping box the display factory box is shipped in. and he went a little beyond what is necessary, and made me some vinyl decals for my car. would not hesitate too do business again with him. what size alt is needed to run a aqx3500.1?

Sub is in a slot port enclosure, 3.5 cu ft, tuned @ 32hz. I was thinking a sundown saz2000. the audioque 2200d is a little more budget friendly. especially at 389 brand new shipped. on top of other minor upgrades with the electrical system i will have to do. Suggestions appreciated.

Do pretty much all head units send out a clipped signal at 3/4 volume? I remember reading something about 3/4 volume and never pushing the head unit to 100% volume... Also, if that's the case why don't manufacturers limit how much you can crank it (if possible?)

I may need to order some wire specifically for tight areas soon. If i do, has anyone actually used both of these before? I know Kolossus Flex is so flexible it feels like there is no wire in the jacket... But i do not know how flexible they have made the 4/0 in RE... My runs would need to do an "S" in about a 6" range.

after buying these batteries i found out that they are 34M's and are "starting only". now does this matter? the MCA is 1000, CCA 800, AH 50, RC 100. Did i get ripped? (only paid 100 each) or are they good?

Here are the details: 2007 Chrysler 300C Fi Q15 Dual 2 (Ported) "Big 3" Upgrade I am looking for an amp (1 ohm mono) to run a Q15. I would like it to sounds as good as possible (obviously) with a budget of $350. So far, I have narrowed it down to the following: - US Amps MD-1D - Sundown SAE1000 - Audioque AQ1200D - Cadence iA7 All can be had for $350 or under... what is my best bet for a good LOUD SOUND QUALITY amp?? i have a sundown 2000d amp and its going in a ram 2500 which has 2 batteries under the hood. am i going to need to put a Kinetik battery in the back by the amp to keep it cool and to avoid any damage to my amp. it will by pushing a nightshade 12 v.2

I was wondering if my 2000 Neon will hold 1000W rms without a alternator upgrade or a battery upgrade, the battery does around 650CCA while hot and around 550CCA when its cold. And iam not really sure what the alternator can pu out, i have been looking all over the inernet and i havent been able to find out, people tell me that i should be fine with a cap or nothing, and some tell me to get a 1 farad cap. What should i do?

I just ordered 2 d3100s for the back of my suv. I have 2 runs of 1/0 running from the front battery (d6500) to the back. I am running 4 sundown 1500s, a sundown 50.4, and a sundown 125.2. What would be the best way to wire all of this? This is what I had in mind: Each of the d3100s would get its own run of 1/0 gauge directed from the front battery. I would run 2 of the 1500s to 1 d3100 and another 2 to the other d3100. Then I would hook up the 50.4 to 1 d3100 and the 125.2 to the other d3100. Does this sound like the best possible method?

Lets start things off with the most info I can give. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 ST. It is a single cab 2wd with the V6 3.7L. The alternator is a 136 amp. The voltage regulator is built into the PCM. Now I am running a Soundstream PCX1500d and will be pulling the full rms (of 1500) during competition. I have a single run of 2/0 from front to back with 2 shuriken sk-bt60 batts under the hood. I am getting ready to do the big 3 any day. My current voltage is 13.8-14.1 on a normal day. Ok, I have a Fi Q 15 on the way thats getting ran off of about 1000-1200 watts from a Sundown 1500. I currently have a Pioneer 4900iB and the display has been kinda getting funky and the knob is starting to stick a little. I bought it with all my stuff when I was doing my first system, and now I want to upgrade. It's currently running some Infinity Reference 6.5 coax's off headunit power. I know that it probably wont be able to keep up with the 15 at high volumes. I was really thinking of getting a Premier 880prs or the copper plated 800prs. I currently have a 230 amp alternator for my 04 Honda civic. im putting 2 n215 btl's in my trunk with a 3875 watt amp. i have im not sure what kind of battery i have now but its new and standard (nothing special). will i need to pick up another battery or 2 to put into the trunk? if so would i be better off adding them after the subs are installed or wire them at the same time?

Plan on running two sundown 1500's with two Odyssey 2150 batteries in the back and one Odyssey 1200 under the hood. Going to keep my factory 130 amp alt to run it. Question is, how many runs of 1/0 should I run from the front battery to the back two? Probably going to just ground to the chassis of the car in the back. Thanks for the help

My friend has an 07 GTI and is thinking of running an AQ 2200D to two Fi Q's. My question is, will this amp be happy powered by the stock alt (120 amp). He doesn't really want to run an extra battery unless absolutely necessary. All suggestions and advice is appreciated.

hi guys have a question. i went threw some car audio stuff my brother owned back in 98 before he pass away and never knew about this stuff tell now. and i see he had this rockford fosgate 4040 dsm 4 channel amp that still work's and was told that this amp is a beast. but my question is what is the true rms rating per channel on this amp.
