Hey guys i have a question about using a second battery. i have a 95 Caddi stock alt. iterstate battery up front. i have done the BIG 3 using 4ga. The amps im running are the R/F P-400.4 at 4ohm each chanel and the R/F T500.1bdcp at 2ohm on two 4ohm svc 12" Dcons. i have been looking at the XS battery's. And would like to know if i would benifit from running one, and if so wich would be seggested. thanks for the feed back

now i have been running mono amps for a while, and some have 1 speaker output and some have 2.... why??? like my T10001BD had 2, but my swiss audio SDX2000D had one... i dont understand ????

well back at the turkey drag show someone broke into my ride and stole all my amps, and my hu, plus some other random stuff. so i figured this is a good chance too upgrade. picked this up off of LEM43606, shipping was fast, he had everything the amp came with as if bought new, even the brown factory shipping box the display factory box is shipped in. and he went a little beyond what is necessary, and made me some vinyl decals for my car. would not hesitate too do business again with him. ive got two amps in mind does any one have thoughts on witch would i be happier with the saz2000d or the aq2200d the one that i get will run one 12" fi btl w/cooling in a 2.5ft3 tuned to 33hz big three and 200amp alternator just wondering witch to go with

I would like to know if I should wire the subs using just one pair of outputs from amp or to use both pairs? I know how to wire from one pair (http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=12#results) ,but I'm unsure how to split the speaker wire (10gauge monster brand speaker wire) according to the diagram. I need a total 1ohm load. Any help is much appreciated. I have: 2007 Toyota Camry LE (all stock electrical w/o upgraded 8-speaker JBL) Two Fi Q 12" (dual 1 ohm) (cooling) (extra spider) in sealed box One AQ 2200D (mono amp) (has two pairs of terminals (4 total outputs))

i had some issues at sears but now finially got my order placed. i got 2 group 49 AGM batteries for my truck. i currently have 2 group 31 lead acid batteries that still work (sort of) but are rather lack luster for starting the truck. so my thought was i save 15.00 on the order per battery to trade my 120.00 group 31's in (they are 1 year old) OR i could keep these 2 as a secondary isolated battery bank that i could abuse as i wanted with out much worry. do we think this is a decent idea or should i just core charge them? they are 1150CCA 195RC batteries. the truck has its stereo and a 16K Lbs recover winch on the front. my thought was that while the truck is running…

I have a JVC KW-NX7000. I have had it for years and love it. I recently got a Sony Xperia Ion cell phone. My goal is to get things like Netflix on my HU screen for passengers to watch netflix or browse youtube videos on my lunchbreak, etc. The phone has a mini-hdmi output. The HU has an open RCA( audio/video) auxiliary input. So far I can't find a cable that converts it. What is a good solution?

im lookin for an HO alt for my truck. i have been to iraggi, mean-green, etc etc. send emails to the ones that didnt have ratings on them (ie, mean green. cost but no amperage rating) i have been researching the companies for the past 3 or so days. and i can tell you, IM FREAKIN SCARED! ive heard horror stories from all the companies. ngsm had a mean green with a misaligned bearing, tons of iraggi alt failures and a few doa, EVEN MORE DOAS from excessive. and i cant afford an ohio gen (even though i heard 2 chit stores about them as well). so here is my question is it really worth to get an HO alternator? i am running a 20.1 at 1 ohm right now (and from the test i saw on …

tomorrow i am going to be doing the Big 3 finally, but am unsure of whether or not on any of the connections i should have a fuse holder, because i have heard both a yes and a no. please help

ive narrowed it down to these few: optima yellow top(are there different models? g31 or something) svr 80-12 oddssey 1700 oddssey 2150 Deka intimidator oddssey = stinger, right? dont know how many of each i will run, i know tho if i run like the 1700, i would have to get more than if i run the 2150, since the 2150 is bigger right? as of now i have the 2 15" mts and 2 orion d5000's. im looking for a third of each, and POSSIBLY a 4th. i'd love to have 4 15" mts and 4 d5000's!!!!!

ok looking 2 a good 2k amp narrowed it down to pca200d,us md-3d or will have to just settle for a kicker1500.1 and be short some watts. whats ppls opinion first hand on these amps thanks

ok i really hate to ask this, but how are you able to tell when your amp starts to "clip"? And what exactly does it mean?

I was wondering will the memphis mojo 4kw run at a 1/2 ohm on burps with proper voltage. I do know that the 08 version will run at 1/2 ohm but they changed a few things on the new mojo.

How do ohms have an impact on the electrical system.? I know that if the woofer is wired to a lower ohm rating then there is less resistance. Does this mean that a 600 watt amp at 2 ohms is the same electrical strain as 1200 watt at 1 ohm? And. I have heard that a higher ohm rating results in "tighter" bass. I believe it is a myth but I want to ask the input of the users on this forum.

ive never even helped installing a security system before...led alone one this complicated. I have a pheonix digital (i know) PD-175. The only major problems i could find with this was the rem starter. and i have a manual so i dont give a rats ass about that chit. Now i have manual locks. so it obviously isnt going to be controlling my locks. however its talking about the door pin trigger? I took my bmw to a local install shop here in Atlanta.... I had them make me a sealed box for my 2 15's. Solobaric l7's to be exact(dual 4 ohm)..... i dropped my car off and left.... When I returned everything was done! EXCEPT! I have a o guage kicker wiring kit and they told me 0 guage wouldnt be necessary so i said ok we'll see what happens first... i told them i wanted to use the 300a kicker fuse though.... I returned and all my settings were turned up... the sub on the radio was at 15/15 the highest it would go..... the bass was at its highest level and the gain was more then 75% up..... they told me......" we've been playing it hard for the last hour trying to break …

Hello, I have a bad noise only when I play with the engine running. I was trying to unhook the sub from the amp, but I start to unscrew it with the sound playing ! my bad Something went wrong, I think the tool touched something wrong and I suddenly heard a bad "electric" noise. Now, when my system play withe engine off : no problem! Engine on : I can hear a sort of alternator noise if I don't crank it up. I can hear the noise of the direction lights in the front speakers! If I take off the rca's': no noise. I checked the grounds: no problem. I tried other rca's : same noise. It seems that the problem is coming from the hu : what do you think about that? Hey everyone, I have two 12" Fi SSD's on their way...I ordered 1-ohm DVC so I could wire them to 1-ohm with my amp. I found a diagram of how to wire them, but I have a problem. I made my box so that each sub has its own airspace, so I'm going to need a seperate terminal cup for each sub. Would I wire it like this? (I didn't put the terminal cups in the diagram...but you get the point) This is the original diagram I found. I guess what I'm asking is, are both diagrams the same? Thanks!
