  3. I have an amp with the following specs: 2 x 75 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms 2 x 150 Watts Max at 4 Ohms 1 x 300 Watts Max at 4 Ohms Bridged 2 x 125 Watts at 2 Ohms Electronic Crossover Network Bass Boost Circuit 2 Ohm Stereo Stable Tri-Mode Capable Gold RCA Inputs Power & Protection LED Indicators Advanced Protection Circuitry Soft Turn On/Off VU Meter Thermometer Frequency Response: 15 Hz-35 kHz S/N Ratio: 90 dB I know its not the best of specs in the world, but it is all I have right now so I want to make this work. I got a TC-1000 12" DVC 4ohm, so if I bridge the amp that is a 2ohm load on the amp. My amp says its only 2ohm Stereo stable, so I was thinking…

I am posting this topic for a friend. I cannot figure out what is wrong with this thing. Here is what is going on. Voltage remains steady. When subs are off the front speakers do not cut out reguardless of volume. When the subs are on the front speakers cut out at higher volumes. I disconnected one speaker at a time at the amp and ran each speaker separately and they front left cut out when connected and the front right cut out when connected. I checked all the connections near the amp and everything seems to be fine. The gains are also set below normal. What could be wrong? The amplifier is not bad because it would have cut out with the subs off.

  7. Greetings out there. I have read many write ups and seen many videos about using test tones to set your amp gains with an o-scope. My question is when setting bass amp gains does it matter if you use a 40Hz tone over a 50Hz tone? Each topic on this has used a different tone but never told why. For those who dont know.. yes I am a so please inform me if there is a difference. Thanks..

sooooo heres how the story goes. i got an amp a while ago, the crunch gp 2500d, and then i bought some subs, like the aq sdc 2.5s, but take a little more power (called TF X's if anyone is interested) both dual 4's wired down to 1 ohm at the amp. anyways, i'm underpowering them by a few hundred watts, and i'm looking for a replacement. in my searching i as offered an earthquake ph-d3 for a bit less than 300 rom a friend of mine, but i think he used to use it for spl comps a few years ago. anyways, the amp works great, and at 1 ohm does 3000 rms, so i figure if i'm easy with the gain i'll get the output i need, or i can match my current output at 4 ohms with 1300 rms. m…

I had blown one of my subs a few months ago so I unhooked everything and removed from vehicle. After doing some upgrades and getting new subs in, I finally reinstalled them yesterday. The problem I've ran into is that the amps aren't producing any sound. They power up and show that there on, but no sound. What voltage should the remote wire show? This is the only thing I can think of to check. I will say though that when I had a sub blow it blew the fuse between batteries and the amps where underpowered for awhile. Could this have caused internal problems? All help needed fast!!!

  13. Like the title states. I need an amp to power 1 incriminator audio lethal injection DVC 4 ohm sub 600rms. I want something that's reputable and not something that is going to take a crap like that China stuff (no offense). Brand/ model names would be great, I know this isn't the 4 sale section but if you're selling something that's good and suites my needs, PM me with price, brand/model name, and condition THNX to all

So I plan on getting a battery for in the back soon and I was curious as to if it will hurt my battery in the front by getting an AGM for in the back. Also do I have to go with something that is in the range of power my amps are taking or can I go with something along the lines of a XS Power D545? Roughly with both amps I'll be in the range of over 1800-2200watts rated.

Alright so I have a 95 Saturn sl2. I as wondering what to do with my power cable because I cannot fit It in between the negative terminal and the actual battery. So instead I have my power connected to my fuse box which..in my mind is putting so much less power and just not as hood as the direct connection to the battery. Is there like an extension to my terminal I can get or what should I do about this.. Sorry for bad Typing..using my phone

Hey guys im looking to try out the maxx link but i have a question for ya. Im gonna be running 4 kicker zx2500.1 amps and 2 18in Btl dual 1 ohm subs. The zx amps are 2 ohm stable and i was wondering if there is any possible configuration to have the amps see a 2ohm load once strapped. Also would i be better without the maxx link and running each amp to each coil? What ohm loads could i see there. thanks
