I was wondering will the memphis mojo 4kw run at a 1/2 ohm on burps with proper voltage. I do know that the 08 version will run at 1/2 ohm but they changed a few things on the new mojo.

I have a ssa dcon dual 4 ohm and I bought a mtx thunder 3401 momkblock amp from a friend. I want to wire it to 2 ohms. The amp has two pos and neg outputs. Idk how to wire it. Do I wire it as if it's bridged and do pos of first two outputs with neg of the second two outputs? Just got it today and I did wire it the way I said and it doesn't sound as if it's pushing the full 400 watts. If anyone can get me a wiring diagram for this amp that would help

Recently i had to return a kenwood KDC-BT945U because it kept getting really hot and messing with the sound quality so im looking for something else. Im looking for something that has at least three sets of preouts (front, rear, and sub), aux input, decent ipod/iphone controls, and a good equilizer. Bluetooth would be cool but i can make calls on my phone so i really need something that will play music loud and for long periods of time. The guy at best buy showed me a JVC KW-XR810 but for some reason im a little hesitant with that brand. ok i know there is a topic here somewhere on this but i have searched using keywords and didnt find what i was lookin for. i would like to know what are suggestions to correctly power a sundown 3500. it is not s competition vehicle jus a daily driver. the speakers will be 4 fi ssd's ( i already own them) run @1ohm. most likely this will go in my ford escape which already has 0ga upgrade, kinetic 2400, batcap800 for electrical. i know i need an alt so i will get probably one runnin at 14-15v 300-400a. i might only compete once or twice but this is just for me to blurr my vision when i'm feelin it. how many batts should i add after i get the alt?

I HAVE A JVC KW-AVX830. The usb port is a cord that comes from the back of the HU and it it hard wired to it. I have not had the thing a year yet. It was working fine everyday. Until yesterday. I plugged my phone.in and nothing. Tried my thumb drive too. Same thing. I'm pretty sure nothing has changed.as far as the set up goes. Pulled out the HU today and wiggled the wire around a bit and still, nothing. Kinda P.O. about.it. I just got hold of a bunch of supposedly high bass song for.my thumb drive. Any thoughts ?

Ok so for my system I'm going to be using a Memphis PR500 (Im almost certain thats what it was) to power my two Assasain 8's so first off...is this a good choice for these subs. I know its a good amp, so I think that question was actually redundant....secondly. How much amp draw on my electrical system will I be seeing when I have this thing pounding?

Does anyone know of a standalone subsonic filter you can buy? My friend bought a Kicker ZX700.5 and it doesn't have one... But he doesn't need a full audio processor or crossover, just the subsonic filter. I'm looking for something that preferably hooks into the RCA's, but if there are any other options please let me know. Thanks for the help

Here is the layout- 258A alt regulated at 14.95v wired directly to factory starting battery. Wire comes off of the starting battery and goes to the rear through solenoid then to 3 batts in the rear. When the stereo system is ran at full tilt for about 2 minutes straight, at one time recently i got a rotten egg smell that came from inside the engine bay but only under high amperage demands. Local Auto Zone fears that since the alt is ran to the starting battery first before it reaches the rear batts and amps is that it may be overcharging the starting battery. We felt the terminals onthe starting batery and they were scorching hot. So... for those who have setup high power…

I'l try to keep this short. Last week my p99rs remote stopped working and I thought "the batttery went quick". I bought a replacement battery, should have check the original first, but it still doesn't work. I popped it apart expecting to find nothing wrong, but instead I find a coil of wire wrapped around a spool and the spool is broken form the base with a broken wire as well. I went to the local radioshack, looking for help. The guy tthere said it looks like a choke, but wasn't sure. In a responce from pioneer the remote is $84.95 + tax + shipping. I am looking for the screws that some amplifiers use to screw down wires into the amp channels and power/ground/remote etc. You have to use an allen wrench to tighten/loosen them. I do not know what they are called or where I can get them. I need some because I have 4 missing from my amp. 2 for a channel on the amp and 1 for the power and 1 for the ground. Im sure I can get them somewhere local but I'd like to order in bulk off the internet. So if you know the name of them I would appreciate it if you would share your ungodly wisdom upon me. Ok I just got an audio pipe 1300 amp it's a 2 channel amp. If I wire it two the outside + and - and hook it up to a 4 ohm single coil sub will that show as a 2 ohm load bridged and give it 600 watts or read it as 1 ohm and 300 watts??

I have a 06 xxx re audio 12 hooked up to a visonik v900hc...suppose to do 3200 @ 1 ohm bridged...hooked up to a kenwood kvt-911 dvd.... The only sound i can get out of my sub is when i hook the rcas up to the brain under the front pre-out...Does nothing when i hook it to the rear,and surges when i hook it up to the non fade output....But when i hook it up to the sub outputs to the back of the monitor it slams the sub and sounds right but you cannot control the sound....the volume only controls the trebble....the only wway to turn the bass from hitting is to unplug the rcas....and when its hooked up to the front preout it sounds decent but only when u turn the volume up al…

okay so my 1997 jeep wrangler's stock alt produces 90amps. Im looking into buying two sundown sa-12's, feeding each 600watts at 1ohm. So my question is will my stock alt suffice?

Please correct me if I'm wrong. In an instance where a persons deck only allows you to turn up the sub only soo much but you want it louder, in order to make it louder, rather than turning your amps gain up excessively damaging your subs you'd use a line driver. Correct?
