I have 2 BTL 12's fully loaded on a 4ooohd Ma audio amp, im currently running 2 dry cell batteries... yellow top optima and blue top optima..... Is there any way to get more power out of this system?? I have a friend who works at auto advance and he said i could get to blue top's and get a tray so i could hook both of them up to run 24 volts.....

Hey Friends... I just wanted to know how do you have your music hooked up? Are you running your wires from the battery or from the positive on the alternator? Right now I have 2 TC Sound 18' Ultra lLMS with a 200 amp alternator one red top batt one 1400 kinetik and 4 hc2000 kinetiks with one IA40.1 amp waiting on the other one. My plan is run two or three lines with the big three already done. I am trying to keep my volts up pass 13.5 when the bass hits. Please advise me on what to do. Just got a N1 for free.... Pulled it from a car being scrapped. The owner accidentally chopped the cable to the hidden unit when pulling it out. I looked on ebay but dont feel like waiting anyone know where i can grab one of these in ontario? Ive called around but all the shops are closed and whatnot Blech!!

i want to get a FI Q 15 with BP and want to power it with a Bxi-1206D and then get a pdx100.4 for my speakers. just wondering what i would need to do to run it all and if i am ok with stock alternator??

I'm seein if i can save money but if i cant oh well.... I have an 07 LT Suburban, which I believe has the 160amp alternator. I want to run a dual alternator system for my truck because I'm about to install a hi-powered audio system in the truck. I'm trying to find a kit that will allow me to keep my factory alt while running another 250 - 300 amp alt that will run independent from the factory system. So in theory the second alternator would only power the two additional batteries that will be in the truck. Nothing factory related would be power by the second alt. Anyone have any ideal? I'm open to all suggestions. However if someone here is already running dual alt and advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Well, i just spent the last few days researchin this myth of Iraggi alts and kinetik batts dont go together... That sounds stupid, i know, but people have problems so i decided to try and find the answer. Ok, I'm sort of a newb at the whole gain setting thing, I just got a Sundown SAZ-1500D from Chris at Db-R and I was setting it with the volt meter, 2 ohm load, 800 watts rms, should be about 40 volts. I tuned it there, with the bass boost all the way off, bass knob up to max. Hooked up the speakers, and It wasnt very loud. My Lanzar 230 was louder. So I did it by ear, listening for any clipping, and I started to barely hear any distortion so I backed off till it was a good clean sound. I retested with the voltmeter and it was at 55 volts. I'm running 2 Memphis M-Class 10's in a Memphis prefab ported box until I can get some 12's. Is it ok to run with the volts this high i…

Does anyone know of a standalone subsonic filter you can buy? My friend bought a Kicker ZX700.5 and it doesn't have one... But he doesn't need a full audio processor or crossover, just the subsonic filter. I'm looking for something that preferably hooks into the RCA's, but if there are any other options please let me know. Thanks for the help

so i got: optima yellowtop under the hood kinetik hc2400 on the back iraggi 240/165 amp alternator it was running fine for about a week since i installed it, my voltages were: 14.2@idle, 13.4v w/ engine off this morning it was running fine too so when i was leaving this afternoon, i noticed the battery gauge was pretty low i checked the voltage and it was only 12.7 while the car is idling and system is off so i turned my car off and checked the voltage, it was 12.8 so i disconnected my powerwire that runs to the back battery and the amps after about half hour driving i checked the voltage, while idle it was 12.3 when it was off it was 12.5 what do you guys think? did my …

Which one should I get? Alpine IVA-W505 Pioneer Avic-D3 Clarion Max 685BT It has to have Ipod hookup, XM, Steering controls, Sub volume Control, and a remote. I just recently got a pair of DC Level 4 18's for my 2007 Suburban. Now I want to try and focus on my front stage. I'm not looking for competition SQ here, just something that will be on par with the 18's until I turn the bass knob up. I currently have L7s, I was going to get a FI Bl. But instead I think ill just keep them for now and I was wondering is a saz 1500D, capable of powering two 15" L7s? or do I need more power to them?

i went ahead and ordered 2 SAZ-1500D's. I had a stock battery but i purchased a Duralast Gold Yellow Top before i started on my system. I got a 200 amp alt coming and i purchased a Kinetik HC1800 to go in the trunk. IS this enough? i wanted to do the big 3 upgrade but i wouldnt know where to start much less what to do. is adding the extra bat and changing the alt enough?

What are some of alpines flip out monitors that work with the h701? i was looking at getting a iva - d310. Any experience with this headunit? Also would i be able to hook this up to a pioneer 9800 headunit? Without a dvd display is manually tuning this a pain?
