Just got a N1 for free.... Pulled it from a car being scrapped. The owner accidentally chopped the cable to the hidden unit when pulling it out. I looked on ebay but dont feel like waiting anyone know where i can grab one of these in ontario? Ive called around but all the shops are closed and whatnot Blech!!

i want to get a FI Q 15 with BP and want to power it with a Bxi-1206D and then get a pdx100.4 for my speakers. just wondering what i would need to do to run it all and if i am ok with stock alternator??

I have an 07 LT Suburban, which I believe has the 160amp alternator. I want to run a dual alternator system for my truck because I'm about to install a hi-powered audio system in the truck. I'm trying to find a kit that will allow me to keep my factory alt while running another 250 - 300 amp alt that will run independent from the factory system. So in theory the second alternator would only power the two additional batteries that will be in the truck. Nothing factory related would be power by the second alt. Anyone have any ideal? I'm open to all suggestions. However if someone here is already running dual alt and advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone tried the 8120 out? I am really considering it because of its seemingly endless list of functions. What other good double dins have you all tried?

Ok, I'm sort of a newb at the whole gain setting thing, I just got a Sundown SAZ-1500D from Chris at Db-R and I was setting it with the volt meter, 2 ohm load, 800 watts rms, should be about 40 volts. I tuned it there, with the bass boost all the way off, bass knob up to max. Hooked up the speakers, and It wasnt very loud. My Lanzar 230 was louder. So I did it by ear, listening for any clipping, and I started to barely hear any distortion so I backed off till it was a good clean sound. I retested with the voltmeter and it was at 55 volts. I'm running 2 Memphis M-Class 10's in a Memphis prefab ported box until I can get some 12's. Is it ok to run with the volts this high i…

Does anyone know of a standalone subsonic filter you can buy? My friend bought a Kicker ZX700.5 and it doesn't have one... But he doesn't need a full audio processor or crossover, just the subsonic filter. I'm looking for something that preferably hooks into the RCA's, but if there are any other options please let me know. Thanks for the help

so i got: optima yellowtop under the hood kinetik hc2400 on the back iraggi 240/165 amp alternator it was running fine for about a week since i installed it, my voltages were: 14.2@idle, 13.4v w/ engine off this morning it was running fine too so when i was leaving this afternoon, i noticed the battery gauge was pretty low i checked the voltage and it was only 12.7 while the car is idling and system is off so i turned my car off and checked the voltage, it was 12.8 so i disconnected my powerwire that runs to the back battery and the amps after about half hour driving i checked the voltage, while idle it was 12.3 when it was off it was 12.5 what do you guys think? did my …

I'm just wondering what are the pros/cons of using a dry cell battery, than a wet cell battery. I need to get a couple of batterys and need to know the differences between the two so i know what to buy.

I just recently got a pair of DC Level 4 18's for my 2007 Suburban. Now I want to try and focus on my front stage. I'm not looking for competition SQ here, just something that will be on par with the 18's until I turn the bass knob up. I'm mostly listen to rap and R&B, but I've been known to listen to all types of music. It common for me to listen to Project Pat and then turn around a play some Hall and Oats, or Phil Collins. I'm trying to find a very small mono amplifier to power an 8" Kicker CVT at 2 ohms. The chassis itself needs to be very small as I plan to mount it above a wheel well hidden. I'm looking for 200 watts, any ideas guys?

Which one should I get? Alpine IVA-W505 Pioneer Avic-D3 Clarion Max 685BT It has to have Ipod hookup, XM, Steering controls, Sub volume Control, and a remote. i went ahead and ordered 2 SAZ-1500D's. I had a stock battery but i purchased a Duralast Gold Yellow Top before i started on my system. I got a 200 amp alt coming and i purchased a Kinetik HC1800 to go in the trunk. IS this enough? i wanted to do the big 3 upgrade but i wouldnt know where to start much less what to do. is adding the extra bat and changing the alt enough?

I currently have L7s, I was going to get a FI Bl. But instead I think ill just keep them for now and I was wondering is a saz 1500D, capable of powering two 15" L7s? or do I need more power to them?

What are some of alpines flip out monitors that work with the h701? i was looking at getting a iva - d310. Any experience with this headunit? Also would i be able to hook this up to a pioneer 9800 headunit? Without a dvd display is manually tuning this a pain?

Here's my old school Alpine MRV-F352. I used this for about 2.5 years or so and one day the 5th channel when out. The other four-channels still work fine. I've sent a few pics of the damage. Could some one tell me what I should do with this amp. I don't really need it anymore, but I don't think many people would want a 5 channel amp that only has 4 channels that work. The damaged part is in the upper right hand corner. You can see the burn marks just under the model number. ive got a 02 blazer and will be installing 6.5" comp set up front and getting rid of the rear speakers, would there be anything wrong with mounting the x-overs in the rear speaker location?

if so then how where they? of course as sundown site states the only place you should get them from is DB-r electronics i was just wondering if any one has ever tryed them and what was the condition of the amp if it was a refurb im just trying to see if i should go refurb and save some $$ that can be spent else where in the setup or should i just stick with buying the brand new amps

okay, heres the score: i have two RE SX 12D2's i purchased. I wanna power them with 2 Sundown Audio 1500's. I have a stock alternator and it pushes about 160 amps. ive searched for another alt but they dont have one for my vehicle. I was told to purchase a seperate battery but i know its just another load on the alternatorso my question is would it be better to purchase one big capacitor, (i.e. a 10 or 20 farad) or just purchase another battery? thanx

Would a Memphis Mojo MCD4KW be a good amp for the 2 18" Fi BTL's i have or would i need two of them?

so i have another question ok here it go's. so im gonna be running 2 3000Ds to 2 Fi Btls would it be better to strap the amps together or run each amp unstraped 1 amp to each speaker sepretly?
