I have a 2008 Silverado Single Cab and am getting a Single 10" SSA Icon and would like to buy a Planet Audio RXD1400 to push it at 2 Ohms. It will be giving it 1000Watts at 2 Ohms. Will stock electrical be sufficient? I also have 4 Gauge wiring which isn't to long due to truck being a single cab. What gauge wire should I use for speaker inputs?

Hey guys, im going to be using a sae-1200d with stock alt (110amps). I was wondering if i could use the 4gauge wire, or should i definitely use the 0 gauge. Also... What battery terminals do you recommend.

well fellas, i sold my old alpine mrv1000, and i decided to buy another amp..... this amp is for my DLS MW12 (91db,400rms SVC) i need some amp for 400rms or more powa, subsonic filter , class A/B and very clean power what do they recomend me?????' i see the diamond audio D5 600.2 this is a good amp??? other choices???? my price range its under 200bucks thanks

I got a new highs amp from a friend of mine! Epic ass Audiosystems X-Ion 70.6 Plus!!!! Two fans on this side and two side on the other. A little fuzzy, but you get the idea.

I did a bit of searching, and it seems that a few people are against the KLM Copper Clad Aluminum cable. I plan on getting the 1/0 KLM cable for my Sundown 1500D for a 15ft run. KnuKonceptz claims that their 1/0 CCA will do fine as long as you're not running gobs of wattage. Anyone think otherwise? Thanks, Trevor

Hey all. I just bought a 1993 Ford Tbird Super Coupe and the tape deck isn't going to cut it. I want a cd player that I can go active with. I was looking at the Eclipse 3200, I'm not sure if that's a good choice. I trust that you guys can help me out. Budget: No more than 300. Listening Preferences: Classic and modern rock. I'm toying with 3 way active, but I may just do a 2 way. Input on this would also be appreciated. Thanks, Ryan

Anyone use either of these to intigrate a system to their factory HU. I have a new truck (2004 FX4) and want to keep the factory indash 6 disk cd player but want to install my Arsenal 10 CDT comp set and ppi amps. I just don't think that the factory bass treble is going to cut it for tuning though. Any thoughts (hopefully from others with a similar situation) thanx in advance

Theres gotta be a faster way to scroll thru the ipod interface.... the 6000 model was easy u can go by scrolling thru the letter and pick the song from there... anyway to do that for the 9800?

Well i just installed all my equipment in my 4runner. I received my speakers today and hooked everthing up...4 15 ssd w/copper coils and bp power option...and im running 2 MA HK802SX amps.......Well the system hits pretty good, but i think it should or can do more....My voltage is dropping down to 10.2 volts at worst. I'm kinda debating whether I should go with a Rockford Fosgate 2500-1bd for my 2 Fi Bl 18"s or should get 2 Rockford 1500-1bd what you guys think? Can the 2500 have enough power for them 18"s or will I have to buy 2 1500??

I have a guy that has a brand new in box Power Acoustik A1800DB amp, and he's wanting to trade it for my used Memphis 16-ST1000D. A 1800 watt for a 1000 watt.. I know PA isn't as quality of a brand as Memphis.. but it seems like a good amp. Any suggestions of whether or not I should follow through?

can a HO alt still work but get damaged and charge at a lower voltage, around 13.8V when it used to charge around 14.8V?

Well I really like my current head unit which is a Pioneer 880PRS but I kinda would like to add navigation and DVD capabilities. So I started to think on how I could do it suggestions would be appreciated. I would like to keep the 880 as the primary unit and the nav as the secondary. Ok, a guy at my trade school let his cousin use his JL A1400 amp, suposedly the cousin sprayed WD40 in the ground connection, why i do not know, and now he says the protect light comes on, i kow hes not the smartest fella and might be hooking it up wrong since he has it back now, he brought it to trade school looked at it, it was fine so he brought it back and it worked, then protect went on again, now hes getting his cousin to buy him a new amp, and he wants to get rid of this one, he brought it for me to look at but neither me nor my teacher can find anything wrong with it, and he wants to sell it for $75, what do yall think?

I was planning on buying 4 of the C&D High Rate 100 lb batteries for my car. They do something like 140 aH. I can get them for under $200 shipped each. I was looking into the d3100 batteries along with other batteries which are almost double the price. How much of a difference is there between the C&D batteries and say the d3100? Is it worth the extra $700 total I would have to spend? I am powering 4 of the saz1500s, 1 100.4, and 1 120.2. I have a 260 amp alternator. Let me know what you think.

Well I've decided on getting an XS D3400 for a second battery in the back of my escape. I currently have 4 gauge going back there, would that be enough or should I go for 0 gauge? I could always upgrade the wire down the road if I have to, but for now I'm only running 1500 watts.

I am running power from rear battery to amp. My question is will I be ok with 24in from battery to the fuse holder (300A fuse)then from there 56in to amp? Or do I run 12in from rear battery to fuse holder then a run to amp?

I picked up a cdx-c90 the other day but it didnt come with either of the 2 remotes. The remote I need is the RM-X9. Does anyone know if theres another sony remote thats comptaible with this deck?

I have it wired but it doesn't turn off when I turn the car off because its directly hooked up to the battery. I'm thinking I can splice into my remote turn on for the amp but I won't get a voltage reading from that will i? I need a way to get the best voltage reading possible and for the meter to shut off when the car is turned off... helpppppppppppppppppppp
