As per title lads, I have a full range RCA going into the H650 but I reckon it could sound alot better than it does Any suggestions dudes?? Is there a setting i must change on the HU to get the better response out of the Processor?? Thanks in advance dudes quinny

Hey guys, im going to be using a sae-1200d with stock alt (110amps). I was wondering if i could use the 4gauge wire, or should i definitely use the 0 gauge. Also... What battery terminals do you recommend.

My buddy wants a cheap system installed in his car. He already has a deck and speakers, just wants a little amp and a little bit of bass. His HU in an intro line Pioneer, bout a year old. It doesn't have a seperate sub out, but only has one pair of outputs. I know he wont have subwoofer control, but could you hook up the one pair of line outs (front) to the sub amp? I don't really see any reason why not, I've just never had to think about it before. Always had 3 sets of outputs. I know its probably a stupid question, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I see alot of post where guys are running there amps at .7 ohms, how is this possible. I have run amps at 1 ohm or even .5, but how do you get .7??

I just recieved my Fi Q 1 ohm speakers today and just freakin fried my 1 ohm stable mtx amp because the speakers are running at around .75 ohms. what amp can I use for these and where can i find it . any suggestions would be appreciated

I have heard several people say that Class D amps are not good full range. I agree that a Mono sub amp is not made to work at over ~250 hz. However I have seen several high end companies making them for home theater. (And not as an entry level product) Crown now uses this in their XLS series pro audio amps, again a full range product. I have a guy that has a brand new in box Power Acoustik A1800DB amp, and he's wanting to trade it for my used Memphis 16-ST1000D. A 1800 watt for a 1000 watt.. I know PA isn't as quality of a brand as Memphis.. but it seems like a good amp. Any suggestions of whether or not I should follow through?

okay so i just got a little amp and was going to install it at my house with a psu but the problem is that the remote turn on on the amp how will that work i do not have a headunit so yeah.

I have it wired but it doesn't turn off when I turn the car off because its directly hooked up to the battery. I'm thinking I can splice into my remote turn on for the amp but I won't get a voltage reading from that will i? I need a way to get the best voltage reading possible and for the meter to shut off when the car is turned off... helpppppppppppppppppppp

Hi guys, I have an older Orion 8004 (circa 2003) that has a rather odd wiring setup. I'm not sure, but I think the remote turn-on power is the connector on the far left - with the one bank of speaker connectors. Notice the power connectors on the other side. well guys i just purchase a used amp kicker amp by the way. i realize on the birth sheet it says 2800 rms its a kicker KX2500.1 but it has a little sticker on the name of it and i can see in the back it says kx600.1 but thats my question colud kicker miss up on paper and just a sticker to it or the one who sold it to me made a copy and just stick a paper saying kx2500.1. so how can a meassure if its true? i was gonna put this in the for sale/wanted section but i didnt know how well that would go over with mods. so im looking to upgrade to a good headunit. i just traded the pioneer i had it wasnt anything special just plain jane with sub outputs. im wanting one with a motorized face and graphics. i dont really care if it has usb or aux in as i dont ever use them. i used to have a deh-p680mp that i absolutely loved. im not really interested in the newest "look" unless its the style with the bigger volume knob like a 6000ub. im also open to a possible kenwood or jvc arsenal if it looks good and the price is right so if anyone has any head units collecting dust let me know…

I have a 2005 Cadillac Escalade with Pioneer AVH-P4200 deck and need advice on the interface for the factory steering wheels controls. I purchased the ASWI-PS had Bestbuy install it and have had nothing but trouble with it. Can someone with some experience please recommend a different model? Thanks in advance

I did a few searches and found some similiar topics, but I couldn't find any that pertained to my situation. Currently, I have a modern alpine model, just a cheaper one. The 9881 I believe. I like the set-up of it a lot and use its iPod control almost exclusively over CD's. I am looking to upgrade though for some more options for tuning. These are the two big ones that seem to be somewhat similiar, but have a few different options. I will definetely need the head unit to have good iPod control.
