IM TRYIN TO REPAIR MY 1000 WATT CRUNCH AMP AND I CANT FIND A PIC OF THE INSIDE GUTS OF THIS DAMN THING IVE LOOKED EVERY WHERE SO ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT A FEW OF THE DIODS I THONK THERE CALLED FRIED SO I NEED TO REPAIR IF ITS POSSABLE IM NEW TO ALL THIS SO I WOULD LIKE SOME IMPUT THANK YOU OR MAYBE A SCHMATIC ON THIS THING WOULD KICK ASS

ok i have 6 xs d3100s... im gonna charge them all at once cause i dont have access to each battery.... now last time i charged them i used 2 amps which took forever!.... can i charge them with 12 amps ?? i have a schumacher charge that shuts off whens they are fully charged (trickle charge) and doesnt charge higher than 15 volts.... the charger has a 2 amp, 12 amp, and 75 amp charge setting..... the 75 amp is for starting a vehicle with a dead battery..... so i know not to use that one lmao... will i be fine charging with 12 amps ??? this way it wont take days to charge them.... last time using a 2 amp charge it took about a week lol...

Hi everyone and Happy New Year! I need a some help finding a H.O. alternator for my 2000 ford taurus. My amp is a zx1500.1 which i have running at 4ohm to my FiQ(upgrading to an xcon). I cant really crank it up without the amp going into protect when the bass hits... Does anyone know where i can find one? Seem like every site i go to has alts for other cars except mine.. If there is any info needed about my system ill answer as best as i can.

k. im pretty sure i didn't set it up 100% right but thats why i wanna check before i get my new subs. i got 2 amps. i got a 500 watt insignia 2 ch. bridgeable amp and a 1000 watt 2 ch. bridgeable koiiler amp. i think its a 4 gauge wire with fuse wired from my battery to my 1 farad cap. then grounded the cap and attached another power wire from the cap to the 500. then i added another power wire from the cap over to the 1000. i split the blue wire from the 500 from the deck to the 1000. then got sum rca's from the output on the 500 over to the input on the 1000. i kno its confusing but im trying to list it as best as possible. its hard to explain. but its alot cleaner se…

I have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.7L V6 and it comes stock with a 90amp alt BUT Im pretty sure if im running 2 15in Fi BL's ill need one right? I bought a Soundstream 1000amp hybrid capacitor but I dont know it that wil be enough if im running those speakers on the Kicker zx2500.1. Just checking with yall to see and make sure... dont wanna mess up anything you know? If you guys think ill still need one do you have any suggestions? I checked that Irragas store but they didn't have one for my car =(

hey guys, i can't seem to find anyone selling digital batter voltage displayers for car sound systems on ebay. it will be necessary for my car since i will be running stockk electrical for a while until i can buy a h/o alt or battery. does anyone know where i can pick one up for cheap? my buddy has one of the later model pioneer head units which works really well (the one with the big knob that controls everything), and i would totally buy it, the only problem is that i'm putting the sound system in a 98' bmw 328i and the blue headunit looks a bit cheesy with the dark orange lights bmw uses for the cluster and buttons...can anyone help me?

I have done some searching around and have not found out what I'm looking for, I understand the calculation for volts on a DMM to set the gains properly. In my particular case, I have (2) Fi SSD's (800rms/each) and a Sundown SAE-1200vD2 (1200rms). Now what I have been seeing is everyone says to take the lesser of the two then do your calculations for proper volts on the DMM. So, would I use 1200 from the amp or 800 from (1) sub or 1600 for both subs?? Im guessing since my subs can handle 1600 combined, I would then use the 1200 from the amp, which would be 34.64v (dual 1 ohm subs and wired that way). Please clarify for me. OK, so if I don't have it completely backwards, I understand that the higher the preout voltage, the lower the gain can/should be set because the amp doesn't have to be as sensitive of the incoming signal - so the amp can put out full power with the lower gain. My question is since the gain isn't set as high, is the amp drawing less current because of it? Or is it drawing the same amount of current as a signal with a lower preout voltage and higher gain setting? Just curious.

When I installed my Massive P1000.1 amp, I also got a 2 gauge Amp Kit that came with a 80A fuse. I just read the Massive's owners manual, it recomends a 60A fuse. Does using a 80A over a 60A make any difference? When I had my system running, I had the amp powering a SI Mag @ 1 ohm (880W).

As for batteries, the one I have now is a perfectly fine battery, I do not know what kind of amperage its putting out but it is a stock carquest battery and rests at 12.5. Car on, I rest at 14.0-.1. Hello, I am wanting to upgrade my OEM alternator before I blow it . I am looking at an Iraggi 200 amp for $399 or 220 amp for $439. I dont mind the extra $40 so I am thinking 220 amp. Mechman is also an option as many people in my area give good reviews. The only downside is they dont make one for my car. If they did I wouldnt be writing this. I'm ready to tackle the electrical system of my 2011 Malibu. Under the hood battery is a weird group 75 battery. I'm either going to try and modify for a slightly larger battery or just spend the ~$200 die hard platinum that will fit as is. Thing is I'm trying to do this on a slight budget and its gonna be cheaper to use different brand batteries. Just going to put 1 in the trunk. I plan to only use sealed AGM style batts just possibly different brands and sizes.. Any trouble I can avoid here?

Hi, Im about to start a build in my 2003 Dodge Dakota, Will be running a Crescendo BC2000D to two 15" SSA ICONS and a Rockford T15004 to a set of Hertz HSK components and probably 2 8" or 10" Crescendo Mids. Have an XS Power D2700 so far just wondering if at this point getting A 250 amp Singer alternator or a second battery ex XP2000 or XP2500 would give me less voltage drop or if its even necessary with that power? All wiring is Knukonceptz Kolosses 1/0 Gauge 1 run - one run +. Also any advice on personal experience with people running Crescendo mids along with a high end component set? Thanks,

i understand fans are useful in keeping your amps cool ... i see a lot of people just using them for their sub amps ... i also felt my amps and my sub amp gets a lot hotter than my 4 channel ... do people mainly put fans just on their sub amps or all of their amps?

I just recently purchased a hifonics bxi1608d. It has 4 gauge terminals and is going to be pushing about 1600 watts. I am not sure if 4 gauge is large enough for the 1600 watts but, on the other hand, I am not sure if I would be able to squeeze the 2 gauge into the 4 gauge terminals. Any suggestions?

Hello SSA! I am selling my Type-R to a friend soon, and getting a Soundstream T5-10 from another friend. I just sold the amp I was using on the R so I could buy a new amp for it, but now this opportunity has presented itself. I am looking for an amp that can do 800-1000 watts at 1 ohm, for around $200. I've been looking around, but all the ones i've found have been Maxxsonics products, which never really do their rated power. Any suggestions from you guys would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Installed a self exciting high output alternator worked fine once installed but once the car sits over night if the temperature drops below 30 degrees the next morning when I start the car I'm not charging, voltage is at 12.3 I have rev up to 3k still it takes probably 20 seconds or more before my voltage goes up to 15.1... on warm days and nights never an issue. .what could be causing this?
