Okay, i got my amp and i know what subs im going to buy. Question is, if i wire these two subs in parallel the resistance is going to be 2 ohms ?

I have a 2008 Silverado Single Cab and am getting a Single 10" SSA Icon and would like to buy a Planet Audio RXD1400 to push it at 2 Ohms. It will be giving it 1000Watts at 2 Ohms. Will stock electrical be sufficient? I also have 4 Gauge wiring which isn't to long due to truck being a single cab. What gauge wire should I use for speaker inputs?

i just put in a used alpine cda- something it has an ipod cord but i cant get it to work. On the very right side of the deck there is a power light under that a tittle button and a light that say ipod when you hook up the ipod that light should light up right and to use your i pod you pick ipod from the source menu right ? But the ipod light dont come on and there is no ipod on the source menu. any clue what my problem is think it's the deck or the cord? and i know its not the ipod because it works fine with everything els

I have a JVC Kw-NX7000 in my 05 Camry. I recently bought a jvc ks bta-200 bluetooth adapter. It works great but now I'm getting interference when I listen to radio, mostly AM. the bluetooth unit is in the glove box and I have the mic mounted on the steering column. What can I do to shield the car's antenna wire from interference?

Hi guys I hope all is good. Years ago we all had capacitors in our cars ( 1990's ) and later we went to the Batcaps. Why did we stop using them?? Did batteries kill them off are what? Are do people still use them and I just didn't see them?

Has anyone used this amp before? Im looking for a new amp to run my 2 12 inch pioneer ts-w3002d4 subs at 1 ohm. Subs are 1000 rms each.

I have a fi bl and a sundown 1500d and lately my sytstem hasnt been playing as loud as usual. it just dont have the edge it usually does. If i had to guess i would save ive lost a full 2 db. its not my voltage cause it stays right around 13.3 a lil wire came loose on my old rca's but i bought some new ones and it STILL sounds the same. What other reasons could be causing this not to play as loud?

Does anyone have any idea what the saz-3500d would put out watt wise at 1.33ohm while being fed 12v?

None on the lights inside truck work now and cd player wont turn on.. Should i run a wire from bat the the yellow wire as to get the cd player to work and.bb i think lights i just need new fuses correct?

I'm going to get a fi bl 12 with a SAZ-1000D amp and i was wondering if i needed anther battery or alternator or anything like that. my car is a 1997 honda accord lx and everything is stock.

Is it to install a DVD/Navigation Unit in a car. Is it about the same as a HU, I'm going to be helping my cousin install this in his truck. I was just wondering if it was more difficult to install then a regular HU. He Has this: Panasonic

well thing is i had my alternator guy build me a high power one for my truck and for some unknown reason at times, mainly early in the morning when its cold out still my alt will be charging from 14.4 bouncing up and down to 15.5v ive takin the alt to my alt guy and he put it on the bench and said it tested good no problem... well thing is it only does this early in the mornings every now and then, but later on in the day it charges normal 14.4v just fine. i got no warrenty on the alt so anything that he does to it ill have to pay for. so if 15.5 wont hurt any of my equipment ill just leave it alone for now, otherwisee i gotta pay him to put anew regulator in it and just…

Theres gotta be a faster way to scroll thru the ipod interface.... the 6000 model was easy u can go by scrolling thru the letter and pick the song from there... anyway to do that for the 9800?

i have a hk-802sx, i have 4 L7 15s D2 and can wire 2 Parallel/Parallel for .5ohms witch the amp can do 2200wrms x 2 or i can leave the current way all 4 wired Series/Parallel @ 1ohm. i was wanting to try it at .5ohms but b4 i take all the subs out and rewire i thought id ask and see what ppls thoughts on this, pros or cons???.. any input would be great.

I have 8guage kicker ofc wiring kit in my truck. Right now its powering one powerbass asa 400.2 subwoofer amp that puts 400 rms. I have an old amp that i want to put on my front door speakers that is 55x2 rms. Would my 8 guage wire be enough for that also? Or do i need to get another wiring kit to be safe? Thankyou. Oh and is there any advice for wiring my front doors? I want both amps in the back of thetruck. Do i run wires from where the factory wires are to the amp for high level input then another back to the doors? Or do i take the wire out of the door and then to the amp And to the doors? I see alot of post where guys are running there amps at .7 ohms, how is this possible. I have run amps at 1 ohm or even .5, but how do you get .7??

I just picked up an electronic xover and each of the 3 outputs have a "level" setting which I assume is like an amps "gain" control....How do I set that correctly? The manual does not specify how to do it.

Hi, I have juste received an aliante 12si and i'm trying to figure out what amp would cope with it. I don't want mono one but a 2channels... i have a ground zero 4125SQ for the front which is a Focal KRX3. But i'm trying to find other 4-6ch to compare them (Zapco DC, Zed, Mosconi, McIntosh,...) I'm just saying this because i'd like the "project" (not build yet) to stay aesthetic so i will probably stay in the same brand for he amps. Thanks for your help

I have a 4 ohm sub so should i be looking for an amp that has the subs recommened rms at 4 ohms or how do i pick the right amp. i know thats not real clear but i couldnt figur out how else to word it.

As per title lads, I have a full range RCA going into the H650 but I reckon it could sound alot better than it does Any suggestions dudes?? Is there a setting i must change on the HU to get the better response out of the Processor?? Thanks in advance dudes quinny

Anybody using/have used this xover? Pros, cons, noise issues? As a now I'm running an Audio Control DQXS to cross my bass mids and tweets. My plan is to add the HK3X into the mix to bandpass the midbass and continue to let the DQXS handle the subs midrange and tweets.

Where can I get one and how much are they?

I am running power from rear battery to amp. My question is will I be ok with 24in from battery to the fuse holder (300A fuse)then from there 56in to amp? Or do I run 12in from rear battery to fuse holder then a run to amp?
