Hi, I have juste received an aliante 12si and i'm trying to figure out what amp would cope with it. I don't want mono one but a 2channels... i have a ground zero 4125SQ for the front which is a Focal KRX3. But i'm trying to find other 4-6ch to compare them (Zapco DC, Zed, Mosconi, McIntosh,...) I'm just saying this because i'd like the "project" (not build yet) to stay aesthetic so i will probably stay in the same brand for he amps. Thanks for your help

Hi have a problem have 2 saz 3000 amp strapped who master and slave, ven conect the master slave cabel i get alternator sound, just only ven strapped, anybody have a sulution??

Hey all, So the other day i was listening to my music when all of a sudden, my FI Q starts starts going in on itself. It was playing a completely separate beat from the music and instead of flexing out, it was flexing in. I turned down the music but that did nothing, i turned down the remote gain but that did nothing so i ripped out the speaker cable from the amp to stop any further damage to the sub. The amp is a MTX JH1200. I'm only running 4 ga to it and I have the big three upgrade. I checked the fuse on the 0 ga running to the batt and it was blown so i will be replacing that shortly. i know this sounds like a newbie question but i wanted to get the right answer. okay, so i have a rf t1000-1bd. it says that the amp is wired in parallel inside the amp. does this mean i can put a wire from each terminal on my woofer to each one of the 4 outputs and it will automatically take my dual 2 down to a 1 ohm load internally?. basically i wanna bump up the wire size going to my woofer because im used to the jumper and twist technique, but if i can get a fatter 10 gauge wire i'd like to do that. so basically instead of me doing the parallel wiring and only 2 wires coming from my sub, i'll have 2 wires from each voice coil, 4 wires going to my amp and the amp will …

Does anybody know where I could find a non-working US AMP :VL-400,USA-400,100HC-or does anybody know if the new amps use the same boards or boards that will fit in the old chassis? I have a USA-400 with a hole burnt in the board,but I want to use this old purple chassis since I have a matching USA_200.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey all.Im curious about hooking up two planet audio bb2 2400 watt rms amps.Here is my question.When haveing to of these amps hooked together it says its 2 ohm stable.My subs are dual 4 ohm and I have 2 wired to 1ohm.If I bought another BB2 how would it work?Like would each amp rung at 1/2 ohm or what since the subs are dual 4 ohm?If so,would I be better off to run 1 amp to each sub and run each at 2 ohms?Would this make me louder at all doing each at amp at 2ohms or would I be about the same? My electrical consists of a 220 amp alt,All 1/0 wireing including big 3 in 1/0 and I have a extra batt in the back. Thanks and let me know please.

Ok, I'm going to be running my wires soon, so I guess i need to start buying some. I'd like to use the Knukonceptz Karma SS speaker wire. I need to know what size I should be buying. I'm running 3 SAX-100.4D amps at 4ohms/4 channel so 100 overrated watts per channel. Sundown E8's for midbass, Tang Band 6.5 for mid and Seas Neo Tweets. Is the 16awg good enough or do I need to go up to 12awg? I know I'm not running tons of power, but I was wondering how much impedance loss I would be getting since the amps are in the trunk and the speakers up front. thanks.

I have one SAZ 1500v.2 and I also have one Crunch GP3000d-Pro. I need to power 2 FI Q's and was gonna run the Crunch amp but appearance wise two matching SAZ1500's would look much better. The subs are Dual 1's so I would have to run the Sundowns at .5ohm to get a 1 ohm load but I would be easy with the gain knob and also will have the electrical to back them up. Anyone see a problem with this other than warranty issues. Curious what to do. I know both will do work but Im sorta torn. Im thinking the 2 Sundowns may sound cleaner but at .5 maybe not? My trucks interior is all black, lol

Hello, I currently have an odyssey pc 1200 battery to put under the hood of my car and was going to get 2 odyssey pc 2150's to put in the back for the two sundown 1500's. Will my factory alt (130 amps) be ok to power the batteries? Do I need to get an HO alt to go along with the batteries? Thanks for the help...

I picked up an Orion 2250 SX on OfferUp for $75 (happy birthday to me!). It was advertised as not-working, but it looks good visually and I thought I MIGHT want it repaired. The problem is I can't find anyone who repairs the older stuff. Amp Medics is 40 minutes from my house, but Steve stopped fixing the old ones (parts are impossible to get). DB-R stopped fixed legacy amps back in 2010. So, anyone know anyone who is willing and able to fix my Beast? (I know technically only the Orion XTR 2250 was called the Beast, but I choose to ignore that fact).

So the other day i was driving down the street and the stereo was playing just fine. I was on my way to get another door handle to replace the one that broke. Everything was installed and i plugged my driver side door panel in and the speaker connected to it when the subwoofer stage started turning on and off. SO i immediately turned everything off, I went back with a test light and everything was working fine so i plugged everything back together and it worked fine. So today on my way to work the sub stage cuts off completely. So I immediately turn everything off again. Go to work, and come back home. I have a JVC Kw-NX7000 in my 05 Camry. I recently bought a jvc ks bta-200 bluetooth adapter. It works great but now I'm getting interference when I listen to radio, mostly AM. the bluetooth unit is in the glove box and I have the mic mounted on the steering column. What can I do to shield the car's antenna wire from interference?

So I have the LC2i LOC. It says to use a 1 to 2 amp fuse for the power. Is this really needed? Someone I spoke with told me they don't think its required because the fuse on main power should act as fuse. And if an issue occurred then it should pop the fuse on the main power line. Is that correct? Just wondering if I should go find a 1 amp fuses?

I recently took out my big heavy soundsystem due to the weight in the back causing traction issues up front.( gonna fix that this summer i hope), but for now i took my two kinetic 1800 batteries out. I went out and bought a cheap battery maintainer thing from advanced autoparts, it says 1.5 amp maintain. My question is can i paralled the batteries together and hook both up to this one maintainer or would i need to get another. To me it seems fine, it would still be seeing 12v to maintain. Right?

I just want a clean sounding quality cd player that can play ipod and sirius. I want sound quality over anything. Any suggestions I'm at a loss on where to go what brand and such. Thinking about Alpine 9887, what do you guys think?
