Where did the gain setting tutorial go? I've searched everywhere and can't find it now. Can someone link me to it plz.

I am going to run 2 Fully Loaded Btl 18" s dual 1ohm coils and I was wondering if anyone had some ideas for an amp or amps to run. electrical is upgraded and I was wanting to atleast give them a true 4k RMS. Also I am wanting to stay under $800. Thanks, Brock

How do I connect my subs to my Amp to Bring it down to 2ohms? The amp rating is 200x4ohms 400x2ohms 800x4ohms Bridging the amp L- R+ brings the amp to 800x4ohms So I was wondering how to do I connect it to bring it down to 400x2ohms. Right now it's connected R+ R- and I don't know if that's 200x4ohms or 400x2ohms. Please help.

first off is it better to stick w/ the same brand when dealin w/ amps for a system? i plan on purchasing the pioneer premier ts-c720prs comps powered by the zed audio gladius burr brown. i have a 10w7 (for testing purposes) and my friend says if i go w/ the gladius for comps i should get another zed for the sub. so now im thinkin bout doin two ppi art series amps thx in advance

I want a cheap but decent head unit with an aux jack in the front... I went to several shops; they kept showing me Sony's. They were Xplodes; one had a USB jack in the front. For a second, I wanted one; I started to freak out. I don't like Sony; please help me.

So the plan right now is to pick up (2) 12" SSDs for the new car. Originally I was going to power them with a SAZ-1500D and call it a day. Now I have been pondering the idea of powering them with 2 SAE-1000Ds for a little extra juice and a little overhead. I just don't know if the price difference is worth it. So the question is which do you think I should do? I've heard the 1500D is underrated with the right electrical, but will I get more out of this setep with the 2000W? Thanks in advance.

Just out of curiousity, for those that are running batteries in the trunk, how many are running them without some kind of isolator? Are you seeing any issues? For those that are running an isolator, what are you running and where can you find them? What kind would you recommend, if any? I am thinking of running a Yellow Top in the trunk, or possibly a Kinetik. If I went with Kinetik, which battery do you recommend (besides the 2400 which I think would be a little extreme for a daily driver, but maybe not)? Thanks in advance.

When most people get external fans to cool their amps off,Where are they often pointing at.

One amp produces sound but no matter how loud I turn it up it stays the same.The Other amo turns on but no sound comes through, Anyone know where I can get them fixed.

I am looking for the screws that some amplifiers use to screw down wires into the amp channels and power/ground/remote etc. You have to use an allen wrench to tighten/loosen them. I do not know what they are called or where I can get them. I need some because I have 4 missing from my amp. 2 for a channel on the amp and 1 for the power and 1 for the ground. Im sure I can get them somewhere local but I'd like to order in bulk off the internet. So if you know the name of them I would appreciate it if you would share your ungodly wisdom upon me. which draws more current...both would be run @ 1 ohm can the orion take .5 daily or does it need modding? its for the 12mt in the mini...i have no room for an extra battery either, nor do i want that much more weigh if i did have the room.

will it work? we tested it at 12.8v on a 1k hz tone, and it did 300w rms x 2 @ 2 ohm. its rated at 500w x 2 @ 2......that was at 12.8v tho.

Where do you guys get your wiring from? I was thinking of getting my RCAs from KnuKnoceptz (Krystal series). I've read about getting power wire from WeldingSupply.com. But this is from posts from a year or more ago. Just curious where everyone else goes.

ok so i was bumpin' and after a while(10-15min), my fuse popped so i park/turn off the car, go to the back and change my 50amp fuse(got a couple for backup in the car) so then i turn on the car, i start turning up the volume VERY slowly... then I hear and see a BIG spark as if a thunder was in my trunk(the amp is naked)... and electrical smell and smoke went off, but not alot..., so i turn off the car straight up and go take off my rear battery's negative connections... so now idk what to do? what did cause this? and why my fuse popped in the first place(does that sometimes, not the first time)... is it safe to plug things bak? the reason i dindt is because I dont want …

I have two questions... 1st. How do you set the time on this thing. I lost my book for it so Im a little lost. And 2nd. On the HU there is a subwoofer control thing. And the options are, Forward, Reverse, and Normal. What does that do and how would it affect the subs performance?

My car came with an Alpine CDA-9835 and I want to get an Ipod adapter for it but every store I go in to find one tells me I should get a newer head unit so I can use the high speed Ipod crap. I don't really want to spend money on a new head unit but if it logically makes sence I will. Stores are quoting me around $150 for the ipod interface and they all finish with it would be better to get a new head unit for that much but I don't see why I would downgrade my head unit.
