Anybody have any experience with the Zapco iforce line? Good, bad, indifferent?

I have a 1997 Grand Am and this is what the electric consists of, stock 105a alt, deka primary batt, 1/0 for batt to chassis ground and motor to chassis...havnt yet done alt to batt. My voltage is dropping to 11.5 on some notes, the amp is a saz1500....I need help deciding what else I need to get the voltage up and stable. The XS power d1200 I can fit under the hood as primary but the d5100 is to big and I dont want to do a second battery. Should I get the d1200 or get a h.o. alt, if you guys need any more info please say. Thanks for any help

Im going to be ordering my new head unit later on today, but I would like to know if anyone has/used this type before and how well it works, I'm getting it because it has 3 pre-amp settings and had a USB and AUX port on it, my old head unit has neither of these and I'm only using CD's which get scratched way too easily. Quicktifier There is one user on here that uses this and i have searched and found no comparison to the before and after results of this device installed on a vehicle. Basically, it's main purpose is to make your alternator more efficient under load or stress. When the alt is getting hot, this will help to prevent loss of output as much. I'm finally getting around to installing the stuff I've had for over a year now. I'll be putting 2 RE 8's powered by a USX 2080. My deck is an old JVC El-Kameleon KX-something or other (the best Kameleon they had), I'll be using the deck's sub outs because I'm too cheap to buy a crossover for now, and the highs are Infinity Reference 6x8's. That was all because I know I'd get asked. Anyway, I need a wiring kit for the amp. Denim has informed me that someone on here makes and sells them on the cheap? Hook a brotha up

I have a Hifonics Brutis 1208d amp and i lost one of my set screws for the power and ground terminals, does anyone know where i can get a new one? I've tried hardware store and all i can find are set screw that look perfect but I can't find the right size. Its metric and 6mm is too small and 8 is too big, and i can't find a 7.

Any one able to confirm the dimensions of the saz-3500. I know the sundown site says 660x250x54 but I heard someone say it's bigger than that. Cheers Karl

My sister is looking to add a sub and amp to her 07 charger. She came to me and I showed her a few things. Prices are too high. I'm trying to get her into a single 12" ia lethal injection or fi Q possibly icon. So we're looking at around 1000 watts rms. showed her the sundown 1000.. Too much ($289). What do you guys recommend in the $150 or so range for an amp? Is something of fair quality able to be had new for this price or is used the route I'm going to need to take? Just looking to toss around some ideas and see what others have had experience with. Sub choice is pretty much set. I have a friend with a single 12" fi Q and she liked how it sounded. So I have a friend that wants to replace her amp and sub that came with her 07 Ford Edge. The sub sucks and the amp just doesn't have enough power for her. Is there a way to install an after market amp wihout having to buy a processor like a RF 3sixty or AudioContro DSP? Sorry if this is a silly question, I would like to tell her all her options. hi, i have this amp : KOIILER XM-6666 2CH 420W and i want to add to my 2001 bmw x5 , i have one each door 2 speakers -1 bigger size regular oem speaker) and 1 a smaller size (twitter oem) and also on the top dash i have 2 twtters oem's and i see in trunk that i have all wires coming there, i also have a box with 2 speakers (it looks that is the sub-woofer) so now how should i connect all this to my above amp with out burning those twitters ? the head unit in front that i am using is the new dynavin e39a (d95) from dynavin[dot]com let me know ,any advice! thanks

I bought a singer alternator from a guy and it was for my trailblazer the alternator fits but my plug on the alt is a 2 pin and the alt I bought has the four pin plug what should I do

so i own a duralast battery and and i want wondering if i could hook a optima gold top to it and have it work fine.. i asked in another post but it was not about this, i just got caught off guard with the original question

So i have an old school kicker ZR1000 2 channel "cheater amp". My buddy gave it to me to use and see if i could fix it. the only stipulation is i can never sell it, if i i get rid of it, it must go to another audio guy who would value it. Anyways, i hooked it up about a week ago and have no output. it has power, no protect light and the RCAs are good. i can turn the gain every which way i want but get no ouput. Multi meter reads 0 across the board on the outputs. i opened it up and see no visible damage. He last used it in 2007 and has had it stored in his house since. I'm just wondering if it would be worth getting it looked at and repaired, and if so, what would be too …

Ok so heres the deal. I have one of these and i just ordered a 15 Fi BTL dual 1, everythin except the cooling. My question is if i were to get a second sub again dual 1 and wire them both to 2 ohm that would be one ohm at the amp right? Also if i were to strap another amp it would still equal one ohm at both amps right?

I've had a Mag D2 for about a month now. And ever since I've had it, when my hu is at high volumes and the bass is hitting hard, it skips like crazy. I have just a normal $150 JVC hu, it sucks and I'm saving up for a new one. But are there any suggestions to help keep it from skipping? (foam or any padding?)

My buddy wants a cheap system installed in his car. He already has a deck and speakers, just wants a little amp and a little bit of bass. His HU in an intro line Pioneer, bout a year old. It doesn't have a seperate sub out, but only has one pair of outputs. I know he wont have subwoofer control, but could you hook up the one pair of line outs (front) to the sub amp? I don't really see any reason why not, I've just never had to think about it before. Always had 3 sets of outputs. I know its probably a stupid question, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks
