I know that there are some good amp companies out there, i need a suggestion for, a single 3way comp set up front and 2 15" SI Mag D2s. Comp watts needed 400 total, 2 channel. Sub watts needed 2.5K-3K total mono/ or 2 mono d block amps. Any suggestions for these wattages... moneys not the issue but i dont wana spend alot. I want quality stuff. But not over the top. any suggestions welcome.

Anyone ever used one? Thoughts? I'm thinking about picking up a couple, for future uses.

this is a WHOLE new world for me. this is what i have come up with... ID CD1Pro's Some nice midbass Drivers...hoping to run them at 2 ohms if possible for 100w. any suggestions? and an EQ/crossover type thing, im really confused on how that works. Do i hook all my amps to a single EQ? do i need to run any wires to my HU? i want a cheap one, just enough to get by. i was thinking about just using my HU's crossovers to mess with everything, or should i buy xternal ones? but im really lacking in the EQ part... i dont think a 3-band would cut it with the horns all of this is going to be thru one 4 channel amp. any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated

Well, I got this HU brand new last year. I love it (but im gonna be gettin a DEH-P860MP when I can afford it), but for now this thing will work. However, when I turn it off, then turn it back on, it takes 13 seconds to load the CD and resume play, on an MP3 CD. I know that may not sound like a long time, but it really is. Anywayz, when I stick in a regular CD, the resume time is 3 seconds or a little less. It used to load my MP3 CD's just as fast as it does regular CD's. It started doin this for some reason for a while, then I hit it or sumthin, and it started workin fine again. But now, since I loaded a regular CD in, it started loadin my MP3 CD slowly again. I cant get …

A buddy had a Nitro 2000W Amp hooked up to 2 10 inch Rockford HX2's (2210 Model) and I sayed I dont even think those subs felt the amp at all but he says its 2-Ohm stable and so I looked up the AMP on E-Bay and u can grab this amp for about a 125.00 bucks w/shipping! I say its garbage! Anyone else had experience with this amp? Thanks

I'm considering buying a used Avionixx AXA440.4 for around $100. Any opinions? They're rated at 85x4 W RMS @ 4 ohm but are supposed to put out around 100W. Any info would be great.

Alright, so i'm going to be ordering two 12" 2 ohm DVC RL-ps soon. Any suggestions on an amp to run them with? I would like to run them at around 700-800 watts each.

I need to get 2 12v fans (one in, one out) for my enclosed amprack, but I'm a little confused as to which to get. Some have 3 wires coming out of them, some have 4. My amps already have outputs to power up external fans, which consists of a positive and negative (http://www.dls.se/images/highres/A5_F.jpg). Help if you can, PG is ignoring my emails. I am running my PG M44 bridged to 155@4ohms x 2 to power my front stage; however, the only way I could figure out how to do this is to use RCA Y splitters and run the left RCA to both inputs on one side of the amp and the right to both inputs on the other side. Isn't there a better way to turn the M44 into a 2 channel amp? If/when I go active it will be just running my mids...

Here's what I have to work with: ^thats the lame part. amps are 9.45" tall, while the cushion template is only ~7.5" What I'm thinking about doing. Please excuse my paint work The front is gonna have plexi to show the middle of the amp, but not the outer edges/wiring inputs. Gonna put a blue cathode above each amp inside the amp enclosure, out of sight. Might cover with vinyl, but I'm not sure cuz I suck at wrapping corners. I need to order 3 pair of RCA's before the SWVA TeamSSAudio meet, wanting to install 8053, anyway, I have not bought high end RCA's in a while, and I am not going to buy monster cable, I have bought mostly decent RCA's for normal needs. For this install, hopefuly for SQ competition, if not just for high end SQ in my car. I would like to stay under $50ish. I am considering the Knukonceptz Krystal Cable, RF, and maybe the Tara labs cable that Nick Lemons reffered to. Any help in this would be nice, hope to order asap.

if an amp is fuses with 2 20amp fuses.. what is the most the amp can put out power wise? i cant find a place that has amp output by fuse rating listed.... Thanks -AcId-

Had planned on going passive, but want to look at all of the options. It is hard to find good information on crossovers on any forum. Would love to assemble a shopping list to compare and thought I would see if you would reply with what you are using. Adding an approximate cost would be great too. Thanks!

I am getting ready to purchase a US Amps IS-2150 amp... which from what ive heard... on average... pushes 715-720 watts bridged peak and 600 rms @ 4ohms... and am wanting to push 3 Eclipse 6103 10's... I currently have 2 of them... which are both 4ohm SVC... the 3rd may be single or dual vc... depending on how i need to do this... or i can have the two SVC's replaced and get all 3 DVC... my problem is getting the proper ohm load... im not sure how i can do it... if i run them in parrallel... im looking at 1 or 1.3ohms... which im not sure if the amp i want is stable at th…

When my car is running, and my HU is on pause, I get this high pitch sound through my speakers. its there when a CD is playing to, but high volumes cover it up. Anywanyz, im trying to figure out how to fix it. Someone suggested to me to check the grounds. SO I did, and found that my battery terminal (-) was loose. After secureing it, I thought it had been fixed, but the next time I went out to my car, it did the same thing. This only happens when my car is running, not when im on ACC. If it was still a ground problem, I would hear it when im on ACC too, wouldnt I? Also, my lights, and my HU backlight dim slightly and brighten, all in a very fast movement. I have upgraded …

Well, here is the deal: Ikesound is out of DEI 1100D5's, so when I returned mine because it wouldn't power up, they said that I can have store credit (haha), so I emailed them back and told them I want a refund. I am probably going to go with a pair of the US Amps IS series amps (IS 2200 and IS 4065). I will be splitting up the crossover on my 3 way rainbows to run the midrange and tweeter off of 2 channels and the midbass off of the other 2 channels of my amp.
