So I should be getting my sub in today. I think. I never got trackng lol. Anyway I wont be able to do my Big 3 until friday.....will it be ok running my sub and amp on stock electrical until then? In case you havent seen my other posts I will be running 1 IA Lethal injection 12 on a SAE-1200D @ 2ohm for 600wrms. What do you guys think? I want to hear this sub bump but dont want to risk messing up my amp. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeremy

could you use 6 volt batteries in car audio? I know if you wire two in series it would make 12 volts, but then how can you get it to co exist with your 12 volt startying battery? 6 volt batteries have alot better reserve capacity

hey guys.. i wnt to know how to wire up the navi part of the headunit, im sure it comes with a navi unit that goes under the seat but i wnt to know how to wire and where the wires need to go from the navi to the back of the unit. please help. thanks.

ok i have 2 rd audio 3250.1 strapped @ 2 ohms the slave amp almost always go into protect only the slave turn the ing off startr it back up its fine till i go full tilt again thought it was the rca but done changed them 4 times anyone?

So I'm gonna do the wiring for my 4channel before I actually get it and the way my h/u kit is designed my h/u has to be bolted in...u can't just pull it out from the front. So can I plug in the rca's in the back of the h/u and not have them plugged into anything at the other end or does there have to be a connection? Or should I just do all the wiring and just not plug it in the h/u until there's a 4 channel I can plug it into

ok, for setting gains with the DMM method, do i use 0dB tones, or can i get away with using, say -6dB or -3dB tones? I've heard recommendations for using as much as -6dB tone (that seems a little much to me) so i guess what I'm asking is how loud does most music get? does it regularly hit 0dB, or more like -3, -6, etc?

I have a 1998 gmc jimmy. I have 2 sundown sa15's in the back with an mtx thunder 81001. Gets very loud only problem is when i turn it up to loud the battery dies. So i'm wondering what kind of battery i should get. Right now i'm looking at an optima yellow top but i'm always open to suggestions in the same price range. I do have the big 3 done, and the alternator is stock but i have no idea how big it is. Any help would be nice because this is a very annoying problem. Thanks!

I am going to run 2 Fully Loaded Btl 18" s dual 1ohm coils and I was wondering if anyone had some ideas for an amp or amps to run. electrical is upgraded and I was wanting to atleast give them a true 4k RMS. Also I am wanting to stay under $800. Thanks, Brock

I have 2 BTL 12's fully loaded on a 4ooohd Ma audio amp, im currently running 2 dry cell batteries... yellow top optima and blue top optima..... Is there any way to get more power out of this system?? I have a friend who works at auto advance and he said i could get to blue top's and get a tray so i could hook both of them up to run 24 volts.....

My HU has Front and Rear RCA outputs. If running front stage only, should I combine the front and rear outputs going to my external amp with a Y-adapter or should I just use the front RCA's alone?

Hey guys! got a quick question. Just picked up an iPod and hooked it up to my alpine deck. my question is....is it possible to get the iPod to turn completely off when i shut off my car? Or does it turn off ocmpletely on its own? or just go into sleep? im sorta confused. I know the screen blacks out. but i'm not sure if its off or if its in sleep. I haven't turned it off long enough to tell if tis in "deep sleep" and watnot, but im hoping to just be able to leave this thing in my glvoebox and control it all through the head unit let me know if you have any ideas!!

I am in need of the wiring diagram for the inputs of the JBL amps for a 2012 Toyota FJ. I know the voltage should be well below 6volts and want to convert them to a rca plug to install and after market system while still using all the factory headunti features. This is for a friend and I do not have the FJ handy to look at things. I am preplanning and any help would be awesome!

Ok so I have a crossfire VR4KD, and this amp has 2 4awg positive inputs & 2 4awg ground inputs. My question is this.... Is it neccessary to have all 4awg as inputs (+ & -) or would it be a problem to run 2 pos 1/0 with 4awg reducers and 2 4awg as gounds? Will the grounds being 4 and the pos being 1/0 be a problem for the amp?

Well I recently (2 weeks ago) purchased a Brand New Volkswagen GTI and it just turned 1000miles so it's time to play (I told myself that I'd at least drive it for 1k miles before tearing it apart.) hello, is it possible to blow an amp with a volt. drop from 17.9-13.sumthing?? a friend of mine has a mojo 4k and he only did three burps with it and that was his volt drop is it possible to blow it like that??
