My crossover have a problem so im selling it and don't know if i should buy a new crossover or signal processor or buy a pioneer player with 2/3 pre out? Cant afford alpine and dont like sony, it cant read all cd, Will a crossover/signal processor compensate for a normal h/U? im now using a pioneer deh1650 i think, the normal model

ok i have 2 rd audio 3250.1 strapped @ 2 ohms the slave amp almost always go into protect only the slave turn the ing off startr it back up its fine till i go full tilt again thought it was the rca but done changed them 4 times anyone?

I hooked my amplifier after having it sit in my room for a couple months up to my car today and the protection light came on for a split second, then the green light came on after 15 secs or so of no light at all. It was hella wierd. I tryed it again, and now the red light blinks for a split second but then no lights at all. I can hear the amp turn on, but it has no light or power. I opened it up and didnt see any physical problems with the board (blown fuses, smell, etc...) Any ideas what it might be? Im positive it has nothing to do with RCA's or speaker wire. Hello, I currently have an odyssey pc 1200 battery to put under the hood of my car and was going to get 2 odyssey pc 2150's to put in the back for the two sundown 1500's. Will my factory alt (130 amps) be ok to power the batteries? Do I need to get an HO alt to go along with the batteries? Thanks for the help...

I need some new battery terminals for the optima red top under the hood. I currently have some nice tsunami terminals. They have 2 0 gauge inputs and 2 8gauhe inputs. Id like terminals with 3 or 4 0 gauge inputs and 2 8 gauge inputs. Can some hook me up? Help is much appreciated Fellas!

whats up everyone? so heres a question that i guess is kinda noobish. i recently had some problems with my deck, and after trying to remount it and clean the laser i decided its time to upgrade, so i did. i went from a pioneer deh-3800mp to a deh-4000ub i had in my other vehicle. now, from what i gather, the 4000 is a more powerful output. that said, when i plugged everything in it was significantly louder at the same volume (35). my question is, should i readjust the gains on my amp? i've been fiddling with the deck (still trying to fine tune this one 2Q 1Q 1W 2W stuff), and i can significantly reduce the sub volume, but i'm wondering, should i lower the gains on…

I have a 1998 gmc jimmy. I have 2 sundown sa15's in the back with an mtx thunder 81001. Gets very loud only problem is when i turn it up to loud the battery dies. So i'm wondering what kind of battery i should get. Right now i'm looking at an optima yellow top but i'm always open to suggestions in the same price range. I do have the big 3 done, and the alternator is stock but i have no idea how big it is. Any help would be nice because this is a very annoying problem. Thanks!

I'm going to be doing a big three. I'm going to have 1-2 batteries in the bed of my truck. I've got to wire up the Orion 2500D, which is also going to be in the bed of my truck. Theres gunna be a camper shell over my bed, and the rear window taken out of the cab,and the front window out of the camper shell, and the box/amp/batteries is gunna be in the bed. Should I just buy so much, like 25ft or what? What gauge or gauges should I use? I can't remember what the amp can accept in regards to power wire size.

I have a chance to buy a Diamond D7 D7054 for a pretty good deal, BNIB. My question is, should i buy it and put my bass on hold. I can get the d7054 now and get my new subwoofer amplifier later, and get my Fi Q about a month later. The good news is i could sell off my eclipse ea4000 to try and re-coup what i lost in buying the legendary d7 amp. Some of the things i have going on right now. Looking to get a h/o alt and a kinetik hc1400/1800 Upgrading to 1/0 power and grounds, and doing the big 3. Maybe eventually getting a new front sound stage.

My HU has Front and Rear RCA outputs. If running front stage only, should I combine the front and rear outputs going to my external amp with a Y-adapter or should I just use the front RCA's alone?

This will be going into my scion xb 08. Its going into the hatch area in the back. Question is would any of these batteries work for me. I have no experiance with batteries besides getting stock ones for replacement. I've read up on deka, xs, optima and all those. The only reason I would go with one of the batteries from this site is because I have an account there and they are local. Like I said this is going into a scion xb, will be the second battery. So I should be getting my sub in today. I think. I never got trackng lol. Anyway I wont be able to do my Big 3 until friday.....will it be ok running my sub and amp on stock electrical until then? In case you havent seen my other posts I will be running 1 IA Lethal injection 12 on a SAE-1200D @ 2ohm for 600wrms. What do you guys think? I have 2 BTL 12's fully loaded on a 4ooohd Ma audio amp, im currently running 2 dry cell batteries... yellow top optima and blue top optima..... Is there any way to get more power out of this system?? I have a friend who works at auto advance and he said i could get to blue top's and get a tray so i could hook both of them up to run 24 volts.....
