Has anyone had any experience with this amp? Im looking for loud and cheap. It says 1800@1 , dont know how accurate it is though. It will be put on an 18" HC once I get it reconed. My Goal is loud, not daily driver just one loud burp machine. Will this amp suffice or should I look into something along the Hifonics line? My Goal is 145 to start with.

sometime in the future i will be putting one hell of a ocmputer in my truck for MP3 sotrage only. there are 2 ins. Min and Line Level (same voltages as RCA) in. From what ive been hearing sometimes the impeadance of the line in is too low for most RCA ins. this causes a lot of distortion with the singal. However for my RCA's for hte moment i will probably end up getting one of thoes peaker level to line level converters untill Xmas when i can get a good 2din HU...lol i am so cheap. so my question is, because my head unit i used to seeing a 4ohm impeadance and the line level in is of s much higher impeadance will i have to worry about any distortion at all? im setting my…

Would you guys know which one is better in terms of quality and performance?... just base your answer with your experience and the brand name, just in case you have'nt listen or audition this models.. its not available locally so im asking the experts on AMPS... they are both on the same price range in Ebay, shipped. Hey guys, I came across a USA 442 and picked it up for a real nice price. Before I did, I wrote to US Amps and asked for some background on the amp. Someone named Jeff Coleman replied and gave me some info on the amp..... some power specs, production run, etc. But, he commented that the 442 had an interesting and complicated crossover and that if I couldn't get an original owner's manual that I should run an outboard crossover with the amp. Anybody got any comments? Advice? Experience with the amp? Thanks in advance.

Have mb quart component speakers (front stage) w/ external crossovers. My head unit powered these front speakers. Standard install, the speaker wire from my crossovers were spliced into my harness. i clipped the speaker wire. For testing purposes only i spliced more speaker wire to run back to my amp. I put the right speaker in the right channel and the left etc. Pulled out my head unit, and setup my rca's and ran them to the amp. Tested both sets of rca's in teh back of my head unit and no workie. Power and ground was simple, I already had a distro block and T connector for my ground. I daisey chained the remote turn on from my sub amp to the eclipse 2 channel. …

Promised pics of my D7's when I got them. These are quick shots. I will get some better ones once I get some more time. These are the finest amps I have ever seen or touched in my life. They put the Zap's to shame really bad. Each one weigh roughly 20 lbs. and the build quality along with the crossover's and list of features and options are unmatched by any amp. I have not heard them yet but I can be pretty sure with the statement that these amps will go toe to toe with anything. DAMN! they look good. I am so happy I chose these over the Zapco's.
