i have a 1999 mazda b2500 pickup. i am about to install a big three upgrade and was inquiring on a ballpark figure of how much wire to buy. I was thinking around 8 feet or so but how much wire did you guys use?? Thanks, Matt Cusack

I'm looking for adapters that are 1/0 and have a pin on the end to make it easier to plug the wire into the amps, dis. blocks, etc. I cant find theese things anywhere, can someone help me find some? Thanks

im running 0 gauge, from redtop, to a kicker 1500. which the battery terminals are 2 i believe. more or less, am i gonna be using power if i use gauge reducers?

what is the advisable length of cable from battery to fuseholder for big three thank you

Hey all. The topic pretty much states it all. I've got a 225 amp EA alt and 13.6 idle voltage isn't cutting it. If anyone knows of a VCM or way to simply increase voltage I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I have two sundown Sa-12s on a saz-1500d v.3 and a stock alt and battery. I'm probably in my car for an hour a day and i don't always have it turned up. Someone told me i can wire it at 1 ohm but to set the gain down. I have the big three so would this even be safe and if so what would i set the gain too?

i just ordered 2 kicker L7 12s and idk wat amp wat size amp or wire to use any help would be appretiated

ok, im starting to upgrade my eletrical before i start doing my system. and i may add a second battery. ( i can fit a powermaster 3100d underhood ) and if add it. i was wondering if instead of running the positve and the negitave wire directly to each battery if i could run them to distribution blocks instead and go from the distribution blocks to the amps. i already have a 1/0 ground run and a 1/0 postive run. and i will get 1 sax100.2 @ 3 ohms. 1 sax 125.2 at 4 ohm. and a either a saz or sae1000d. so roughly 1500 rms total. but my truck only has a stock 90 amp alt. and i doing big 3 is 2/0 guage wire. ( it's welding wire)

i found two 75 ah sealed cells for 119 each.... so does anyone know of a cell or maybe 2 that will be the same price with just as many amp hours shiped to my door? im also gonna do another run of 0 gauge and maybe running them stright to the alt.... im also thinking about getting the mising link high setting to 15.7

Hi have a problem have 2 saz 3000 amp strapped who master and slave, ven conect the master slave cabel i get alternator sound, just only ven strapped, anybody have a sulution??

Do not purchase these amps from the ebay seller riversidetrade they are defective. They were never supposed to be released to the public. The heat sink is to small causing them to overheat and fail. Ok, first off to get started i have a 15" Fi SSD flatwind option, US Amps XT2000D (1000rms x 1ohm), and a pioneer headunit thats 2.2volts. i have my bass on my headunit all the way lowest it can go, and the bass boost on my amp (hookd up to remote) all the way up, then i have my subwoofer level on my HU +2 (-4 thru +4). right now my gain is about halway on my amp, is that an appropriate spot to put it or can i put it higher. i just got my sub 2 days ago so should i keep my gain low for a few weeks or so to break it in then put my gain to about 3/4.

can i run my speaker wire and rca cables in the same door jam or do i need to run them seperate. power wire is seperate from rcas but does speaker wire matter or not another questions trying to wire up my apline 6.5 coaxils how do i know which one is the postive and which one is negative or does it matter

Used to have a Hifonics 2000bxi and when I ran that full tilt it would only get luke warm. Now that I've upgraded to my mb quart 2000.1d, running it at even 3/4 tilt makes it get really toasty. To the point where it hurts to leave your hand on it for more than 4 seconds. Voltage never dips below 13.5v full tilt and I have it tuned on my DMM for 2000w (does 2200w i hear?) The amp is directly grounded to my rear batt and all the connections are snug and tight. The amp is also mounted right by my seat openings so it has pretty decent air flow. Anyone elses discus series amp run toasty like mine?

Hi guys im be in a process of putting 2 dc xl on 2 aq 2200s strapped and my h/o is a 125amp if i get a xs d7500 will be enough for my aq2200s or get a 270 amp alt and d3100 be good im low on cash right now thats y im asking if a xs d7500 be enough help

So i am in a debate between the Fi BL 15 and Fi BTL 15, the deciding factor is wether or not i will have the electrical support for the amplifier. I am wondering if i would have enough electrical to keep up with the Hifonics BXi2610d to run on the BTL... Here are my specs... Does the SPL FX1-4000D amp do rated power? Or does anyone have experience with it?

Its time for me to install all my gear, ive installed few HU's here and there but never a full system consisting of multiple amps, subs, rear battery, and components. I was told to run a line of 1/0 from the front to the rear + batt terminal, and ground to the chassis of my car. Fuse few inches from front + batt. terminal. For the rear battery, do I fuse inches before the rear battery? How big of ANL fuses should I use, I will have 170 amp fuses in total from my amps, so maybe 200 ANL fuses will be good? Then from the rear battery, ill be running some 1/0 gauge to a dsitro block and will give me 2, 4 gauge outputs that I will connect to my amps, (AQ 1200d, and Kenwood KA…

Anyone have any experience with this head unit? Looks nice and the features seem pretty good for a double din. Can be had for under 350 new and about 250 used. So has anyone tried this one out, or has anyone had problems with it? Would like to step up to a dvd head unit and this seems like a decent deal. Don't really want to spend too much (around 300 max) so that I can save up for some xcons. Also I could give a crap about ipods. I use either my zune or the pioneer cd-ub100 with a portable hard drive for music (which this deck has the plug in for it)

Hey guys,I'm purchasing a few things for my 2003 GTI and I was wondering how much of a difference (quality wise) a head unit would be. I was suggested Alpine CDA 9887, but was wondering if it would really improve the sound, or should I just stick with something cheaper, since I am in school and kind of strapped for cash to get a head unit with all that stuff. What I plan to purchase: Helix HXS 136 Esprit Sundown SAX-125.2 Fi Q12 Diamond audio D3 800.1 or Sundown SAZ1500D(used) Cheers!

What do you guys think of pioneers new avic line coming out the F series. I think I am just gonna wait and get the F90BT I think it is, it looks freaking awesome compared to the D3.

I am looking into adding a second battery and all i need to know is whether i am missing any big deals/sales right now, or if anyone has a better option for me in the $180.00 range?! Can anyone point me into the direction of a better "deal" than the hc1400 for $165.00?! eBay Thanks!

My buddy gave me an idea on how to mount my amp, but it will touching the batteries...will that harm anything when the amp is on?
