I'm in the market for a new HU(since the mazda 6 kit is almost out). Here are my requirements: - at least 4 volt pre-outs, including one for sub - crossover for sub/mid/hi - red illuminated buttons or at least majority red illumination - would like it to be a silver color to match my dash but not necessary - mp3 capability I'm trying to gauge my options right now, and no price limit.

I was wondering if you buy an amp, if you can send it back to kicker without going through a dealer? Is there special things for competitors or what? What would you do about going through with this?

AS FAR AS THE JACK HAMMER...THIS THING IS 22INCHES WIDE 23INCHES DEPTH...ITS NOT MADE 4 ALL CARS...IT WILL HAVE 2 REPLACEMENT CONES...ONE FOR SPL AND ANOTHER FOR SQ..AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT IT ONLY REQUIRES A PORTED 15CUFT OF INTERNAL SPACE. 80 JUST GIVING ALITTLE INFO

i'm sellin my hifonics 1500d.i was thinkin of maybe getting a hifonics 1800d or hifonics 2200d.my friend jason recomended a jbl 1201.1. i just need somthing that won't draw a chitload of power. thanks guys!! charles

Ok first you need. 1.ps2 or other gaming system. 2. monitor 3. power converter 4. some supplies from radio shack. Video--- Ok so we all know the ps2 has male rca's right. So my monitor in particular has one male rca that is for the video in. So i had to go to radio shack and get a double sided female rca connector to get the screen to work. So thats how the video is hooked up. Sound-- This can be tricky depending on your radio. Some radios have an auxilary input for tvs and such, so if you have this just connect the red and white rcas to you radios auxilry input. Ok, SOOOO, I'm reallllly baffled and just plain pissed off. Last night i decided to cable tie ALL of my wires, put plastic tuding around all of them, and tie them back. (kinda clean up my wires/install real good before I make my amplifier rack.) So, that's what i was doing last night. Not installing anything...I only unhooked my subwoofer amp...nothing else, i didn't even take apart my dash or anything. That's the pre-face, here's what happened. I was hooking my subwoofer amplifier back up, (don't THINK it had anything to do with this...but it happened at the same time i was hooking the sub amp up.) Hi, I want to uppgrade my stock system. I need a pair of 6.5" component in front and 2 12" woofers in the rear. My ride is Renault Trafic van. I'm just curious without the ac converterr, what would happen if I cut the power wire and connected it to the battery, or a 12 volt connection. Would it A. burn up the ps2 B. Not get ebough power C. work just fine. I say B

ok so if i got 2 amps hooked up how should i ground them, so far i got a 1/0 spliced to 2 8 guage wires. its not working very well, should i get another distro block for my gound wires as well?

what would be the specs of al the amps comming out... if you cant say now i understand... jamie
