Quick Question, I'm looking for a new front stage amp since the 3522 isn't really cutting it anymore. I'm searching ebay for used 2 channel amps and I came onto this "Cadence Ultra Drive Z1200" as well as many others. Before i start considering the Cadence I tried to look it up for RMS wattage and other specifications. Upon research, I've found different information from different reliable resources. However, i found nothing specifically on "Cadence Ultra Drive Z1200". I found stuff on a Cadence Z1200 being a mono bock, and stuff on a Cadence Z1200c being a 2 channel. I don't suppose anyone out there has any useful information for me on the Cadence Ultra Drive Z1200? Th…

  3. http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Ite...A465&tp=115 Link to the amp. I need an 4 channel amp that is 2 ohm stable and has variable cross overs. My fronts are Infinity 682.7s with stock 8" midbass in the doors. No rear speakers. I'm actually happy with the sound using my HU to power the 6x8s, but it is starting to die since the speakers are 2 ohm and the HU is not 2 ohm stable. I also want to be able to control the cross over points of my midbass speakers better.

  4. I'm looking at getting a headunit to play my ipod and cds. I don't want bluetooth, or anything else like that. Having an aux input could come in handy if I want to plug in my phone (blackberry) and play music off that. I'll be powering my stock speakers in my 96 accord sedan off the headunit, and then will have a sub hooked up to it (SAE-1000D to an SSA Icon 10"). I already ordered the amp from db-R and the sub/box from Quentin. Anyway, Crutchfield has the Pioneer DEH-p6000UB for only 150, which seems like a great deal? http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130P6000UB/Pi...tures_and_specs I was also looking at the pioneer deh-p510ub for 185 at sonicelectronix or woofersetc. I'v…

so I just got the eclipse AVN 6620 installed and I have one major problem, WHITE NOISE!! The deck emits a constant white noise no matter what the volume. Its not volume influenced. I can have the volume on 0 or 80 and its still the same constant white noise. Me and my installer have tried everything from changing the grounds, rca's, ect... The only thing that stops it is unplugging the rca's from the headunit. Any ideas to stop this??? Is it a bad unit you think??? please help! thanks Eddie

Hello, I am in the process of deciding what I should do. I used to have a 180A alternator and it went bad. I sent it back to get fixed, and they quoted me $170 to build it back to 180A, or basically to fix it. However, they said that for $100 more, they can rebuild it to 200A. (I took it apart just for fun when I sent it back to them, just for fun, and it looked like it was a completely stock alternator which I thought was weird, but then again, I don't know what, besides rectifier diodes, is used to make an OEM alternator a high output alternator. What I do know is that I must've paid close to $350 for it back in 2006.) Anyways, when my system will consist of, will be: …

How do I connect my subs to my Amp to Bring it down to 2ohms? The amp rating is 200x4ohms 400x2ohms 800x4ohms Bridging the amp L- R+ brings the amp to 800x4ohms So I was wondering how to do I connect it to bring it down to 400x2ohms. Right now it's connected R+ R- and I don't know if that's 200x4ohms or 400x2ohms. Please help.

I am looking to rebuild/convert my CS130 alternator to a high amperage unit. This is for the car and system listed in my sig. What are the limits this case can handle. I came across a 200 amp stator. The biggest rotor I've come across is 140 amp. Will these work together. To go along with this I was thinking about using a heavy duty Delco voltage regulator set at 14.7v, and a Delco rectifier with six 70 amp avalanche diodes. Any thoughts of what the output of this combo would be? Should I get a smaller pulley as well? Thanks.

Anyone ever tried this amp? It looks old to me but I kinda like it. Hour meter for use, voltage remote meter and remote bass knob (well thats not that cool because most amps have them but the voltage meter is pretty cool), pretty good power and stuff. I wonder if it puts out the rated power? http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseac...Product_ID=3070 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12363_...1200DA+R-B.html IDK, just looking around.

I installed an Avital Avistart 4400 today and I'm having a simple problem. I am just using the alarm features, so I did not hook up anything for remote start. Upon testing the unit, when I ope the door, it activates and the display on the remote shows door intrusion. I cannot get this to stop even after disarming the system. Do I have to have the remote start hooked up so it will read an ignition cycle and reset the alarm so my LED stops blinking and remote shows normal status? Thanks in advance.
