i got 2 RE HC 12s, i have em in a 6 cubed box tuned to 31 hz, wit a mtx 1501d powerin both. I think i hooked them up wrong or something, Cuz my rearview mirror dont even vibrate. and my friend can do that wit 500 watts. i used the wiring wizard at rockford fosgates site running it on 1/0 gauge wire http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiri...x=21&image.y=13. personally, i believe that i should have hooked each speaker to a different speaker output on my amp. guy at RE said to get a power acoustik 3000.. I saw it for 339$ and i get like 2300watts at 1 ohm. That an the planet audio amp. He said there dam near the same. anybody got any better deal, wt that i need 2 for each 18. Any more power for a good price i'm open to any ideas.

I've had a Mag D2 for about a month now. And ever since I've had it, when my hu is at high volumes and the bass is hitting hard, it skips like crazy. I have just a normal $150 JVC hu, it sucks and I'm saving up for a new one. But are there any suggestions to help keep it from skipping? (foam or any padding?)

I was interested in daisy chaining a pair of XS100's for each 9515. I am not too sure of how to go about doing this.

i got 2 12' HCs, there for daily, so im decidin a amp. i was gonna get 2 bx1000ds but i diddnt no if i should spend extra to get the bx1500ds instead. but i think 3k watts will be to much for daily. also i got a 80 amp alt so i doubt ill be able to run either of them without upgrading. also i was thinkin of a tsunami 1800db but i heard ppl havin probs wit em. also i does any sites still sell them? ty, and if u no any amps i would like for aroun 450-500 post them.

I am somewhat new at this and feel I need to run more batteries, this was also recommended by a stereo shop near where I live however they would charge an arm and a leg to do the job. I was wondering on how to do this, I was thinking parallel, but I was wondering how both batteries keep charged....... Thank you Jonathan Thompson

Gain Matching Correctly setting a sound system

My friend has a 2004 Kicker L7 8. He needs an amp for it. It is DVC 4 ohm. He wants to put around 750-1000 watts on it. He also doesn't want to spend a lot of money. I have tried to find a good amp for that price, but its hard to get full power with that vc configuration.

How do I know what to set my SSF to? Sup folks, I have a friend that is trying to figure out a way to make a mini ipod work with his stock cd player. THis is what he is trying to do and figure out. Can you tell me if its possible and if so how do you do it? "I have a 2000 Nissan Xterra SE with the factory head unit (CD/TAPE/CHANGER CONTROLLER DOUBLE DIN) and it doesn't have any inputs on the back other than a 12 pin connector for a cd changer (which I don't have). I'm trying to make an auxillary input out of the cd changer input so I can wire my iPod directly into the reciever for higher quality. Here you go... There's still an amp missing, the matching 225 for the right side. I may be switching out the 2100 for a 250 for awhile. I'm trying to get ahold of another 2100 so I can run two to the sub, one on each coil. As it is right now it blends really well with the front stage for rock and so forth but there just isn't enough for hardcore bass music and I don't want to risk the 2100 by running it @ 1 ohm. What size are the screws that hold the mounting bracket on the amp?

same price basicly.. someone said the 4000x will die if i run it for daily use. i know the crossfires wont.. what should i buy.. i'm kinda eekin to know cus i'd like to order them before i go to sleep. gonna run two powerbase xs 15's dual 2 ohm. 1000 rms each

Ive got a class D Mono amp that keeps shutting off while playing music. before It used to do it if there was a weak signal but now its starting to do it no matter what. I have to turn off the HU then turn it back on to get the amp working again. In the last vehicle it was in the remote wire was connected to a fuse under the dash and the wire's insulation rubbed off somewhere. the wire touched metal on the vehicle and burned out the wire. for a while the amp wouldnt even play any music but then started workign again. btw, that happened almost exactly a year ago... had the amp for 1 1/2 years & i bass it everyday

Hi Guys, I just installed my front stage a few days ago and now I have a nice problem. The amp I am using for my frontstage is a Memphis 16-ST300. When I'm on the road, it happens really often that the front stage stops for a second or two and then it gets back. During this time, the sub amp which is a Memphis 16-ST1000D doesn't even stops. I just don't know what to do right now. Thanks, Maxime

i am looking at getting a jbl 1200 watt amp, i found 1 on sounddomain, but have not found much else. The one i found on SD was the powervalve BP, i found one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5700553298&rd=1 which would be better suited for 2 adire shiva 12's in a ported box

so I have a 9300 and a 660 as of today, and i went to go plug in the new 660 to make sure everything was good and the plug was diff from the 9300 which pissed me off. It was basicly the same but the 660 one was a tad larger and i didnt feel like hooking up a new harness just to test the new hu. anyone know if the 4 or 5 series are the same as the new 6? thanks! -aaron

ok i got 2 RE HC' 12's, and im looking for opinions on amp(s) to get, so far denim has helped me out alot, he has recomended the following: 2 kx800.4 2 dei 1100 1 pg tantrum 1200.1 1 us amp 2000 and many more so what would you recommend. It dont have to be one of them can be anything. thanx, Rob
