I just noticed that Treo is selling amps these days, looks they picked them up damn near a year ago too. Has anyone used or seen these at all, it looks like a nice amp and I'm sure it peforms equally as well. Does anyone know if they're using someone elses boards in them? I bet they only cost 2 arms and half a leg.

Any recommendations out there? I'm looking to get a Double DIN Non Nav unit with at least 4v preouts. I will have powered door speakers and then my SSA XCON in the rear powered by the RF T1500. Thanks for any recommendations.

Ok, I'm trying to do the big 3 on my buddy's full-size 1992 Bronco 5.8L Windsor, but I am absolutely stumped. The alternator doesn't have a post and plug like I'm used to. It only has two identical plugs. Any thoughts on how I can do the big 3? Where the (+) would go?

I got a directed d2400 amp hooked up to a JL 13w7. Theres a red and a green light that are both on. The red light has always been on as far as i can remember. The amp keeps blowing fuses like crazy. I can listen to music like half way or so and its fine but when i bang it it will just shut off and pop a fuse. I got 4g wire. I'm not sure why it keeps blowing fuses. I've been through like 7 fuses in a few days. I drive an 01 pt cruiser with no capacitor. Any help will be appreciated, thanks. alright i found some battery terminals from KnuKonceptz and they hold 1/0 gauge wire. im planning on using them for the big 3 and for my amp install, my question is will they hold a 0 gauge wire? or will i have to just not get a positive terminal? here is the link to the battery terminal

A buddy had a Nitro 2000W Amp hooked up to 2 10 inch Rockford HX2's (2210 Model) and I sayed I dont even think those subs felt the amp at all but he says its 2-Ohm stable and so I looked up the AMP on E-Bay and u can grab this amp for about a 125.00 bucks w/shipping! I say its garbage! Anyone else had experience with this amp? Thanks

I recently installed another amp and some 6x9's in my car along with my existing sub amplifier, I have some obnoxious engine noise going on now that wasn't there or noticable before the install. My power wire and RCA's are ran on seperate sides of the car, The amps do have a common chassis ground in the trunk. Is the engine noise because of the shared ground? I just put an MTX 704 in my truck for the speakers and a Kicker ZX300.1 for the 2 8" subs. My question is, the 704 has buttons to turn the high pass and low pass filters on/off, which should be on and which should be off? I tink I currently have the high pass on and the low pass off. How do u wire multiple batteries? I know that you start at the alt. then wire from alt to batt. but then would you wire the positive side of batterie to the next batterie on the positive side and then continue if you have more batt?

Today i got my AQ2200 (used) and hooked it up to my dvc 4ohm(wired to 1ohm) type r's just to see how it works, it was dark out so i couldnt/didnt really have time to tune the amp correctly.. but i did do it by ear real quick., and i have to say.... i was REALLY dissapointed My PDX1000 performed/powered better.. i set the gains on that by ear, but acually sat there for about an hour listening to it and turning lil by lil. (not like i did with the AQ) My question is should i be afriad its defective? oh.. and do i HAVE to use the bass knob? - i dont like having one. Thank you dom.

How much battery would you guys recommend for park n play? I'll have about 2k to the lows, and would like to be able to go to a car show in my hometown and show all the highschoolers how it's done. I'm drooling over this, i've been waiting to do a build of my own for so long, and daydreaming conveniently leaves out all the requirements that need to be satisfied before the fun part. So i am in the process of a full rebuild and part of the rebuild consist of new batteries. I have all xs power batteries, a d5100r and a xp3000. What would be a decent charger i could have on them? Also what kind of on-board maintainer charger would be good to use?

Looking around for a new head unit I've found that the majority of units from reputable companies (save alpine) dont have pause in their mid level units. Kenwood, Pioneer, Eclipse...none of them have pause in the $2-$300 range. My CD3434 doesnt have pause. Even sony units lack pause. Pioneer and Kenwood's lower units have pause and all of their highest units have pause...but in between it seems to be the companies think we dont like to pause our music or compeat... /rant

I purchased an armdso nano O-Scope at a good deal, and figured I could maybe use it to tune my amp finally. I know the dmm method of tuning, but I figured why not try it with my oscope. The only thing is, my knowledge is non existent with electronics ironically. How would you tune it with a 1 probe x1-x10 with an alligator ground clip? I assume the probe just goes in the positive part of the amp to tune it, and the alligator goes on a ground source? The one I purchased does not have a 3.5mm jack with the black and red probes. alright so theres a problem that bothers the hell out of me I want an amp I am stuck between the sundown saz-1500d and the audioque aq2200d. the audioque does 2200 at 14.4v Im aware that that it would be almost impossible for me to keep that voltage .SO my main question is which one to get does anyone know what the audioque will put out at like 12.5 to 13 volts thanks for the help guys.

i have a audiobahn A2200HCT i had it pushin a dd3515 at 2 ohms half the power and one day i got in my car and turned the key over with out starting the car and the volume was on 7 as soon as the bass hit the amp popped 4 times all the lights work and the cooling fans it just dont make no noise ive takin it all apart and looked it over i cant find anything burnt up nothing smells funny i dont know what it is. i have some pics but i dont know how to post them on here thanks for your time

so... i'm sitting in my house for hours, its getting late so i open my garage and too pull my truck in and i notice my amp was still on.. but there was no key in the ignition or anything.. so i'm like what the fuck? i pop my key in and click it over.. head unit doesn't turn on but my amp is still on.. so i pop my hood and unhook my neg on my batt, amp stays on, unhook the pos, amp goes off. Why did this happen?

ok so i have a bazooka 500wrms mono im running until i get my saz-1500 fixed.... its running a fosgate power hx2 at 1ohm. its a damn good amp for the brand. i dont know much about it but lately since i got a h/u instead of my mp3 player it goes into protect when the bass hits real low note like on bass i love you for example the real low note when u get major excurssion it goes into protect. is it cause its not 1 ohm stable? gain is about 2/3 up frequency is all the way down bass boost is about 1/4 up sub level on pioneer 680mp is at about -10 thanx in advance

Hi 99 Oldsmobile Alero Yellow optima up front and one in the rear Powerbastards 220amp alt knu 1/0gauge (+ and -) front to back, big3 as of today. no fuses. problem persists Im getting a drop from 14.4 to as low as 13.2 when I bring the car to a stop Sometimes it stays at 14.4 when I stop but most of time it dont 13.2 is about as low as it gets, its random and sometimes doesnt drop at all I only get this reading from the rear battery I dont have any of my amps connected, no sound, still a drop The rear battery is grounded to the negative in the front I have also tried grounding the rear battery to the point under the seatbelt bolt that i have used before (no luck) The fr…
