going for a simple sq based system with components up front and a single diyma 12" in the rear. Looking at a pair of MC300's (150x2 or 500ish bridged) or a pair of Xterminator Xt1600.2's (125x2 or 600ish bridged). the UsAmps are cheaper but they are the lowend line while the M class is the top of line that they offer. What do you guys think?

I've always ran 1/0 power and grounds on my systems.. 2 situations I've ran into.. 1. My dad is ALWAYS telling me I should run 4awg wire, thinks 1/0 is way too much. Almost as if its bad to run a wire that size.. my system isn't huge just a sundown1500 another ~600 rms highs amp with a ho alt...is that just an old school way of thinking? 2. I recently bought a bunch of 1/0 CCA knukonceptz wire and I think I'd rather go with some OFC instead. Friend of mine has recently bought a audiopipe 1500 from me and has no wire. Stock everything..I want to sell him all this CCA wire I have to buy what I really want.. my original thinking is it should work fine (after adapting to 4 GA…

OK, here is scenario- Got a 20A relay on remote turn on wire with 3 amps and some leds on it. The 15A fuse on the relay popped today... that means it drew WAY too much current... i have a short somewhere... I check- 3 wires were pulled out of the remote turn on distro block that was reading ground.... 1 of these wires is an LED wire. The other 2 wires go to my sundown 100.4 and the other wire goes to both AQ3500Ds remote turn on... The LED wire reads 0.0 ohms and the turn on wires for all 3 amps are reading 0.2 ohms.... Is the remote turn on's grounded? Did the led wire cause a massive surge through all the remote turn ons?

Ive got 2 FI BL 12's fully loaded, a 275 amp alt, and 2 yellow tops. My question is.......would it be better (louder) to run 2 amplifiers linked to the subs? OR would it work better to have an amp per sub? And if i did amp per sub....how would i tune them together without buying anything. Im asking this because ive been looking at this Hifonics BRZ2400 and it looks like a wiener

Im just wondering what one of these runs for new. I found out that one of the local shops is a dealer. Before i go walking in there to fart on their knowledge like is my monthly ritual i'd like to know what these run for. Depending i may bite it and buy one assumeing it has the pause feature. I like the look of the CD3434 but i like the plain/almost stock look MUCH better.

Here you go... There's still an amp missing, the matching 225 for the right side. I may be switching out the 2100 for a 250 for awhile. I'm trying to get ahold of another 2100 so I can run two to the sub, one on each coil. As it is right now it blends really well with the front stage for rock and so forth but there just isn't enough for hardcore bass music and I don't want to risk the 2100 by running it @ 1 ohm. Edit: The links got clipped somehow when I copied and pasted them in. They should work now and inline images.

  11. Hey guys. I just finished my system and I used a digital distribution block. This one: http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KNF-22D It stays on (Displays voltage), even when the car is off. I thought it would have had an automatic shut off, but I guess since it's directly connected to the battery it stays on? Can anyone confirm. Just seems weird..

I've never bought all the wires and stuff separately, I've only used those amp install kits. Im trying to figure out how much it will cost to wire up my amp and stuff. Orion 2500D. I'm going to need an alternator, I was thinkin a universal alternator... I can make brackets for it, we have welders and stuff and I can weld. Reason why is I have an engine coming sooner or later for the truck, and its a different engine than what is in it. So I'll just make a new bracket for the other engine. I want to run the secondary alt seperate than the existing charging system, and have it dedicated to 1-2 batteries and the amp will run off those batteries.. Not sure what batteries eit…

My setup is in my sig. I have everything set right on the amp and all the wires have solid connections, but no matter what I put the gain at and what volume I listen at, the amp will go into protect sometimes and then come out of it. I'm wired to 1 ohm @ 1000w. I don't get it. Could I have damaged my amp when the brahma blew? I had bass boost on with the brahma and didn't know it until I went and checked the levels when I hooked up the icon. I turned all that off so it's not on anymore. Any thoughts? If I forgot some info that you need, let me know.

this is a WHOLE new world for me. this is what i have come up with... ID CD1Pro's Some nice midbass Drivers...hoping to run them at 2 ohms if possible for 100w. any suggestions? and an EQ/crossover type thing, im really confused on how that works. Do i hook all my amps to a single EQ? do i need to run any wires to my HU? i want a cheap one, just enough to get by. i was thinking about just using my HU's crossovers to mess with everything, or should i buy xternal ones? but im really lacking in the EQ part... i dont think a 3-band would cut it with the horns all of this is going to be thru one 4 channel amp. any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated

As you all know, I know have a wall. I live in the state of TN. I'm not sure of their rules and regulations, but I know one rule states nothing can block your rear vision or something to that extinct. So I am wanting to combat this issue. What I am wanting is: A) One camera that is always "on" B) One camera that is always "on", Second camera that is only on when in reverse. What my thought was to, mount an camera like, lower bumper. This camera will only be on going in reverse. Then, t…

  21. Looking to upgrade my entry-level pioneer DEH-14UB Head Unit IF it will make a worthwhile difference in output or sound level mainly on my sub-stage going with a 4-6v pre-out upper-class pioneer, kenwood or alpine deck. Tell me what do you guys think? I already have the entry-level pioneer wired to a clarion MCD-360 crossover with 5v max output voltage so am I really going to notice a difference in the bass production from the subs or no?? All comments and opinions are appreciated thanks:)
