So I was just about to buy the AudioControl lc2i and I saw that it has "2 speaker-level inputs with 400 watts RMS power handling". I have 2 crescendo bc2000s and going to have 1 crescendo c1100.4. I won't be using them all at full output, but somewhere around 3.2k rms all together. Does that mean it can be hooked up to speakers that are getting up to 400 rms or does it mean that it can only support amps up to 400 rms. I looked at reviews to see if others have used with more power and they were all under 600 rms. I didn't see any other LOCs that support more power. Will the lc2i work? If it is that I can't use this one, are there any other LOCs I can? Thanks. http://www.cr…

I just installed a hifonics Zeus zrx3000.1d. I was wondering if a 4 gauge big 3 upgrade would help with the light dimming and give the amp more consistent power? Any ideas? If so, I saw on knukon

I've tried searching around the forums for this but its a bit hard due to the size of all the words associated. So I plan on doing the BIG 3 in the next few days and I have my 0 Gauge wires, terminals,and fuse holder only thing left for me to do is get the fuse. On 02 Laredos the stock alternator has an output of 136 Amps, On other forums people recommended a 300 AMP Fuse but wouldn't this render the fuse useless as being such a high overall amp compared to the alt it wouldn't do its job and blow? Looking for budget amplifier to power a 12" SSA DCON subwoofer SVC or DVC 4-ohm (1.2 cu ft sealed to spec). I would like a class d amplifier rated at about ~300w rms clean (give or take, this is a low power budget system). Any ideas?

I bought a Kinetik HC1200 because my Diehard gold battery is getting a little old and only charges to about 3/4s original capacity. It got here last night and I figured Id test how it compared simply by dropping it in place of the Diehard. (I do realize Kinetik reccomends at least a HC1800 for replacing main starting battery) Didnt charge it till it was all connected, let it sit in there over night. At that time the lights when the door was opened were quite a bit brighter, good sign I thought. If i have stock alt a kinetik 3800 and a kinetik 2400, only one AQ 2200 right now, i was wondering if my ascendant mayhem 12" dual 2 ohm could handle that?

i was driving home last night and plugged my phone into the usb and nothing happened , but i just drove home with the radio on and didnt pay much attention. i went out today to mess with it and the usb will say its charging my phone but usb and pandora wont show up on the cd player. i kept scrolling through the sources and now when i scroll through them the cd player just shuts off. any ideas how to fix this?

I know it depends on the vehicle or whatever but , would a power acoustik bamf amp 5500d power two 15" Fi SSDs better then a hifonics brutus 1200.1d ? i have the Hifonics amp now and it hits but now as hard as when it was hooked up to one 15. Yes i know power acoustik is not that great.

I'm interested in a 14v setup, I'm not sure how many batteries I'll need since they're only 50ah. I have a 320a Mechman externally regulated alt. I will be running 4 3500's at .5 each. My car starts freaking out at around 15v, so a 16v setup with a stepdown is a must, but I'm not sure how many I need for my car/accessories to run since the ones from XS are only 50a maximum.

ok im currently running sum cheap o wiring and id like to know what is the best route to upgrade it im running a 130 amp alt upped from a 60 amp. Big 3 is done with some good 4ga scraps i rounded up at the shop with copper ring terminals crimped on. Just ordered the alpine and i know i can not use video with my iphone 5 like an older iphone but i had an idea tho im not sure if it will work. What if i get the lighning digital av adapter from apple (HDMI for mirroring onto your tv) and then I get a HDMI to RCA adaptor and hook that up to the video in, sounds like it would work what do you guys think.

I'm in a quandary. I need to make a quick decision on amp. Equipment I have is 220 amp alt, big three done, two hc 2400. Subs are two fi ssd dual 2, box tuned to 45 Hz. I plan on competing in s3 and trying to decide which amp to get before pre-order ends. Would you go with the saz-2500 or the saz-3500. All info and suggestions appreciative.

Hey anybody out there running one of these i had the DTS-1000.1 and it beat hard probably too much for my cvr 12 (rated at 400 rms) i had it ran peralel at 2 ohms since it was a dual 4 sub supposedly the amp was puttin out 560 @ 2 ohms. this i had to RMA the 1000.1 because it rattled and got back a 1500.1 becuz of the price drop since i origonally boutght the 100 in sept of this year id like to know from anybody running one of these thanks >>.....D sorry about the double post my interweb died lol

Ok so when its warm out my amp turns on just fine... Now that its been cold out my amp doesnt turn on.. No prot. Light. No lights at all.. The HU remote wire is reading less than 1 volt... I hooked up the remote wire to the red wire on the cd player... The amp turned on but it was making weird noises when I turned the car off.... Is the remote wire on the HU goin out?
