About 2 years ago I removed a system that was "blown" for a guy and put his headunit in his new car--loose wires the only problem. For payment he gave me his blown amp and two kicker subs. I sold the subs cheap to a buddy and kept the amp. Since my car is mostly done I thought I would put something in the truck. I was wondering if any of you had heard anything about the amp. All I found is a random post saying it is 40x4 + 80wx1 or 80wx3 (@4ohm). I would like to use it to power my fronts and my sub. I have not selected a sub to use yet. Is the 800prs just a newer model and black? Are there any real differences?

ok so i have a 1997 cavalier and in it is 2 12 inch sundown audio sa-12's, 1 saz-1500D on 1 ohm, a box that is tuned to 28ish and has about 4.5 cubes including my port. I also have a kinetik hc800 hooked up to this system. I am using a Kenwood eXcelon kdc-x395 head unit with 4 gauge wire all around and no big 3 atm. My problem is that when i have this system turned up past 30 (max is 35) on certain songs my deck will shut off and it turns my subs off too, and seems to reboot it self and then resumes playing, and i have no idea why. i dont have the volume maxed either i never go above 33 unless the songs arent very bassy, like with eminem and some other rappers with light …

I would like to start using my phone with my deck as I have spotify and it works really well and I get unlimited music for $10 a month. I have been using an iPod Touch since the interface is so nice on the deck. It really is too bad there aren't any Android compatible DVD decks as I am not a fan of apple at all. So...what do you guys think is the best way to hookup my android phone to get the best possible sound quality? To be honest I will most likely stick with using my iPod, but eventually I would like to get away from that for future use.

I currently am running my xcon on a hifonics brutus 2009 version that is 1600rms at 1-ohm, I was wondering what would be the main difference between, a saz1500d and a 2000rms at 1-ohm hifonics amp. as in sound quality? and if anyone is better for clean rich power for a decent price, and other amp suggestions or info is great.

I know that the older amps they made were amazing but I was wondering if any has tried their new amps and if they are high quality or not. Input would be much appreciated since I looking to purchase a new amp. Thanks in advance Sincerely, Matthew

What's the difference in performance between the MB Quart 1500D and the Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D considering there's almost a $250 price difference?

I was going to by the RF 3sixty.3 today, then noticed a JL clean sweep. From what I can gather the JL simply converts the signal, from a OEM head unit, to a flat signal then outputs to an amplifier. The RF360.3 will convert the signal, from a OEM head unit, to a user defined signal via the EQ functionality then outputs to an amplifier. If I purchase a RF360.3 how likely am I to give my amp, SAX100.4, a flat response? If I purchase a JL clean how likely am I to make that signal something other then flat? In other words for me, a person who doesn't compete but enjoys good quality, would I be better off with a JL or an RF? Also from what I have read, if I change the EQ…

So, looking to get some thing ordered. gonna run an Orion 2500d, and I'm thinking that Load Boss might cut it. Its rated at 220A, and 110 @ idle. but I have heard people testing the 220's @ 238A. would that be sufficient for the orion or would I need more... cause those Iraggi's are like 3X more.... another funny thing... from the manf. quotes... LB, 110A @ 800rpm, 220A @ 1600rpm built, Denso, 70A @ 800rpm, 165A @ 1600rpm......? huh.... its a 280A btw. also, thinking about running a 1/0 knuconcept collosus, Pos. & Neg. from front batt. to amp/back batt.(or/and batcap). Hi, was wondering if anybody could help me. I have been looking around trying to figure out how to cross over my system correctly but have not come up with a clear answer. I am in the process of upgrading my system, currently running 1 fi q on 1 q1-2200d as well as 4 coaxial speakers on an alpine cde-141 with the power pack connected to it. I was running the passive crossovers on the headunit at 80hz but now I am getting another fi q and q1-2200d and taking out the coaxial speakers and replacing them with 2 crescendo 8" pwx and 4 crescendo ft1 tweeters and running them with kicker kx800.2 and kx800.4 amps. Dave Navone says that you should use a -10dB tone to set your amps gains for a 3:1 ratio overlap. Should I do that? I've been using the 0dB tones. Switch?

I'm wondering about the Orion 222 SX. Like this: I know it is rated for 22w X 2 @ 4 Ohms. Outside of that, however, I am somehow under the impression that the SX-series units would do somewhat over rated power and additionally would run at lower than expected resistance loads like the HCCA and XTR amps would? If I am mistaken about this please do correct my ignorance. If anyone knows the real output of this little guy or could maybe point me towards an installation/user's manual I would be greatly appreciative.

Are DD amps worth the money? I sold my saz2500 because it was in okk shape and a guy offered me 460 for it. Kinda scratched and a few dents so I took it. I came across a DD M3a for 520 shipped. Is it a good deal? Does anyone else run digital design amps? Any experience with them, good or bad?

aight so i will be getting two 12 DSS Ethos in oct.. they are 1,800 watts RMS.. there is two so could i get a 3,000 watt amp for them or will i need to get a 3,500 watt amp?? also i only have about 650$ to spend on a amp which sucks.. any thoughts on what i should do? i kno i will be needing to get a second battery and a better battery for under the hood.. i never really had much of a system.. i only have two 10's now and a Hifonics BE1700.1 for the 10's and a alpine 4 channel for my door spearkers.. this will be my first time upgrading my electrical.. will i need to get a better alternator or can i just rock the 2 better batterys.. my new build will be the two 12 Ethos.…

Do anyone know what volume the ddx370 starts to clip? .I've heard the excelon kenwoods can do the full 35 of 35 volume . But the ddx370 is not an excelon .. it is 35 max volume...
