alright figured i would star a new topic ablout this. But are there any other amps i could use for this that are a little cheaper.

Hey guys! I have a 2000 Avalon XLS that has the stock JBL system with it. (6 disc in-dash CD Changer, factory amp, 7 speaker system with IB in rear deck for 8" Subwoofer) I thought I could handle it for awhile but i'm contemplating replacing it with an aftermarket player. I've never worked on a system with this factory amp in it. Is this that big of a concern? Or what are the workarounds for this? If its to complicated, I'd just consider running a speaker leve to RCA converter and running a sub that way and sacrificing not upgrading the highs at all. Would 2000 be to much for 2 SA-10's? I was told by Jacob too put them into a 2 cube box, but i dont know if thats too much power.

Well i just dont feel my arsenals are getting all they can from my Autotek MM1400. I am looking for a good 2000 wattrms amp. I really dont care about the brand and dont want to spend a tone of money. The autotek is a good amp but i know my arsenals can take much more. Any suggestions are appreciated. And yes they are already in a dual port dual chamber box. Also accepting offers on the Autotek.

anyone know of any good 2000 watt amps? i would like to put 2 saz1000's but its a lil out of my price range, but if all else fails ill just get 1 saz1500

i have 2 FI q 15's, both with 1000 watts rms. i have read reviews about the SAZ 1500d sundown amp, and i have heard that it would be plenty of power since it is over rated for power. is this true? thanks.

I'm looking for a 2000 watt amp to run my Sundown Z15's. Since only d2's were left I'll be running a 2 ohm load. I'm looking to spend under $500 and so far the only amp I'm finding to fit what I'm looking for is the Alpine MRP-2000. I've considered spending a little more and getting a 1 ohm stable amp but run it at 2 ohm in case I decide to upgrade, although at this point I really don't intend to since I have other hobbies that I'd rather waste my money on. Any other suggestions/feedback on Alpine amps? I'm not up to speed with Alpine since the only thing I own from Alpine is an early 90's model. Also, any other brands I should be looking into? i have a sundown 2000d amp and its going in a ram 2500 which has 2 batteries under the hood. am i going to need to put a Kinetik battery in the back by the amp to keep it cool and to avoid any damage to my amp. it will by pushing a nightshade 12 v.2

i have the Rockford Fosgate Power T20001bd amp and a red top optimus battery under the hood with a 800 kintik in the trunk all wired with 0ga wire and gold terminals with a 200 amp alt and was thinking of getting a Rockford Fosgate RFC2DHybrid 2.0 Farad Digital Stiffening Capacitor if this isnt a nough juice and a alt if i need one? this is for my btl 18 fully loaded wich rms is 2000 watts any help and i apreate it thanks guys!!

So my friend has a 2001 camaro z28 And he doing a wall build With to HDC418-D1( about to order) And running 3 group 31 batts and a group 34 x power under the hood With a mechman 320 alt( do not have yet) Box will be tune low in the 28-32( will be talking to Alton about that) So we came across 2 good deals to stay in budget on the amp both are around same price Crescendo bc 5500. Or dc 5k both are used....I google each and read up on some stuff but We still looking for more outside input I do not want any other amp choices...it was hard already talking him in to walling off is car...

I have plans to run an AudioQue AQ2200D in a 2001.5 Passat (call it a 2002). I'd like to know what I need as far as electrical upgrades. I'd also like to know what a batcap would/wouldn't do for someone that likes to have a constant beat going. Lastly, if I need a second battery, how would I wire it up to the rest of the charging system? Thank you. EDIT: I believe the stock alt is about 90 amps.

I have a 2.2L 2002 Oldsmobile Alero and am having a tough time finding a high output alternator bigger than 150amps. I'm just wondering if somebody has this car and purchased one, I called a place and they said an alternator made for a 1999-2002 Chevy cavalier MIGHT FIT, so that's a take a chance and hope you're right. I am running 2000 watts right now, my alternator fried today and have been searching for hours trying to find one but nothing comes up. I figure I might as well get one now instead of wasting $100 to get a new 105amp one. Otherwise would a second battery work after the big 3 upgrade? I have no way of knowing (atleast that i know of) to let me know when my HU starts sending out a distorted signal and i dont trust me ears that much. So i was just wondering if anybody has personal experience with this head unit and at what volume it starts to distort. The previous owner told me not to turn it up past 24/35, but i have also heard that some alpine HU's aswell as other high quality HU's will be able to go up to full volume without distortion. Im starting my new build and want to re-do all the gains on my amps so this would take some guess work out of it. Thanks.

I bought a new Pioneer z110bt and have been messin with installing it into my 2006 Nissan Xterra SE. I keep getting this high pitched whine. The factory Rockford Fosgate system is still in, and I have the bypass harness' and everything is hooked up right but it still makes this high pitched whine noise. Keep in mind this is WITH the key off...........I am lost as to why its doing this........The whine is still present with the RCA's unplugged. Any ideas guys? J

I have been looking at my electrical and there is ll kinds of run offs from the positive wire from battery. There are 2 that run from positive into the fuse box, and at least 2 more that split off into I haven't found where yet. Seem like a lot. My question is would it be OK to keep those running to where they are going and still run 0 gauge from Alt to battery using a bus bar or similar? Also with the ground question there are several split offs from the ground battery terminal to the chasey, should just through those on top of my 0 gaug…

Is there an adapter so I can use the factory XM antenna in the 2009 Accord with an aftermarket headunit and it's XM module? I have the Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD head unit and am getting http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...ite/GEX-P920XM. I just want to avoid having to run a new antenna.

I have scoured the internet last week and found nothing that can do this for real... I only found one amp, can't remember the amp but definitely could not do 200w x 4 @4ohm with a 60A fuse... I am trying to find an amp that can do 200w x 4 @4ohm so i do not have to get 2 amps that can do 200wx2 @ 4ohm. It's a space issue. Anybody know of such? And i do not plan on getting the 15K rockford amp.

I need any assistance finding a manufacturer to make a dual alt bracket for my 2011 4runner SR5 4.0L V6 engine. I am in the process of purchasing components for an audio upgrade and would like ti run the truck off the original alt and the sound system off the beefed up(350 amp+) second alt.
