if so then how where they? of course as sundown site states the only place you should get them from is DB-r electronics i was just wondering if any one has ever tryed them and what was the condition of the amp if it was a refurb im just trying to see if i should go refurb and save some $$ that can be spent else where in the setup or should i just stick with buying the brand new amps

I have a RF T1500-1BDCP that once it is powered up its thermal light is lit very dim. The amp still delivers sound (and tons of it) and the protect light does not come on. It does this once the amp has power ground and accessory wires connected and radio is turned on. The system has runs of 0gauge KunKoncepts (+ and -), big 3 0gauge, optimum red top up front. Alt is 110 amp soon to be upgraded. I tested the wiring with an old P300-1 and it didn't have the thermal light show. I checked ground, and voltage and both were good. Anybody ever seen this happen? I'm lookin at a few units with time alignment and won't break the bank. Eclipse and Clarion are the ones I've paid specific attention to. I kinda want to keep my Eclipse 8053 but would like some of the new features like USB/bluetooth. I am looking at HUs with time alignment and possibly a decent crossover built in but not necessary as I am thinkin of getting an external one. Anyone with first-hand experience or links to reviews?

Can anyone compare em to the 8053? I have the option of buying the 8053 right now but i need to make sure it has a RCA input for my Omnifi. Plus wanna make sure whether there is much of a difference between this unit and the new one. Plus the new one matches with my dash better.

I set the Hz to roughly 80, but what about this sub sonic eq and the bass eq that goes from 0 - 18db should I mess with these settings at all? Its 2 12s down fire sealed box incase that matters

i was riding in my car on the highway the other day when my subs went completely off and i smelled something burnt. I stopped and the only thing i found was that the wire connecting sub to the amp came out of the amp and i think it touched the amp it self. The amp went into protection when it went off. my Highs gave me a whistling noise when it went off and would get low in volume. After i connected the wire back and shut the car back on. The subs came back on but doesnt sound as loud. And when i turn the volume up, i hear engine noise in my highs. Can somebody please help me figure out what happened and how to fix it. Thank U!

I have a chance to buy a Diamond D7 D7054 for a pretty good deal, BNIB. My question is, should i buy it and put my bass on hold. I can get the d7054 now and get my new subwoofer amplifier later, and get my Fi Q about a month later. The good news is i could sell off my eclipse ea4000 to try and re-coup what i lost in buying the legendary d7 amp. Some of the things i have going on right now. Looking to get a h/o alt and a kinetik hc1400/1800 Upgrading to 1/0 power and grounds, and doing the big 3. Maybe eventually getting a new front sound stage.

Having a sparatic issues with my remote voltage. Out of nowhere, I am having an issue with the amps/xm unit shutting off randomly. Turn the H/U off and it works again. Took out the DMM and found that Idle voltage is 12.4 and dips around 11.4 when the music is playing. Drove around for a few min and it did its thing again at which the voltage was around 5.5 and not sufficient to turn my amps on. Okay, I REALLY didn't plan it this way but I'm thinking about taking advantage of my new found surplus of amps. The reason for my dilemma is two fold. First off I decided to buy the IA 6.4 from Ohjay to power the SLS 8's in my Jimmy when I finally get to installing them. So i have a sundown 1200D and i did the Big 3 but thats all... besides that everything is stock. Then recently my sub would randomly stop playing, especially at higher volumes. At first i thought it was my headunit because i could get it to play if i pushed a certain way, well sometimes haha. hey guys... I have 2 1000.4 's going to my front doors . they have been sounding great, nice and clear and no distortion. I have been having some ground problems lately and had to drill a new ground. After that they were back to sounding clear and crisp. Now about a week later all the static and distortion came back to the point were I almost cnt even hear the music. Looking for advice tuning my new deck. I have a Pioneer DEH 80prs, a Soundqubed 1200d running at 1 ohm with 2 12" alpine type x subs. I have my low pass filter set at 80hz on my deck but I don't know where to set my low pass filter at on my amp? I was told to just turn it up out of the frequency range of my subs but idk if that's right. Bass boost is at 0 and the subsonic filter at 10hz. Gain is at nominal power. I have my subwoofer level on my deck set to 0db. The crossover slope it at 18db. Automatic sound levelizer at high and source level adjuster at 0. Graphic equilizer is flat.

I have one 15" fi bl on a t1000bd. actual rms is 1481. I have major dimming in my denali. I am going to put another cell in back. Where can I buy an hc1200?? I live in milwaukee wisconsin. Is it me but I just bought an hd radio and it sounds terrible. I thought it was suppose to be cd quality. I will agree than the sound stage widens and more clarity with the highs and lows. But it's also accompanied with an electronic (synthesized) sound. Kind of like a subtle robot voice in the background. Which I don't experience with analog signals.

So getting ready to order my head unit and was wondering if anyone has any experience with my choices. right now i am debating... JVC KW.R900bt Clarion cx501 kenwood dpx500bt pioneer fhx700bt Alpine cde w235bt Anyone have any experience with any of these? Pretty sure all will do the job just the reviews are all pretty much the same so looking for better opinions

right now i have a cheap h/u in. i am willing to spend about $400 for a h/u. who makes the best h/u for basic sub setups.

i yet to get my new head unit, but for when i do waht should i look for on it to makes everything so great, a friend of mine had a system and it sounded good but he got his deck tuned and it sounds 10x better, he can now turn it almost all the way up without any distortion the subs sound more clean and the vocals sound more crips, they never touched his woofers or amps just tuned the head unit, so waht would i look for when i plan on tunning my head unit, Thanks

Anyone have this yet? I like the pandora idea wondering hows the sound qaulity of it.
