Im finnally done with the Big 3, all the wires connected, test drove the car, and everything.... thanks for the help through it all!!!!!! But now what? Im doing a 15" FI Fully loaded BTL and a Hifonics Bxi2608D amp I wont have it hooked up untill the 25th, whats that next thing i should do? Its a 2000 Hyundai Sonata as far as i know, my options are Better main batt, add a second batt, or new alternator. Id rather not do any, but if i have to id rather only do 1. dont have much money to spend... :-( but untill then ill turn the gain down.. keep the volume down. Thanks

Hi, I drive a 2005 e91 BMW 320 Diesel Touring. Stock Allternator with 120 Amps (Diesel) and 1 Kinetik HC 1400 and AWG 4 Power Cables(idk for sure, in germany its measured in square mm, i have 51 mm2) for OEM Batt to Kinetik Batt and from Kinetik to Amp. I want to know if i should do some upgrade to run a Rockford T20001bd perfectly. I'm gonna get a FI BTL 15 soon and don't want to smoke it up because of clipping... I already searched for a HO Alt but wasn't able do find s.th. for my ride. And sorry for the perhabs stupid question, but what the heck is or are the big 3?? Any Input??!?! I would appreciate!

I was thinking about purchasing a SAE-1200dv2 from dB-r and I noticed that the refurbs they are selling don't come with a bass remote. If I were to buy one where could I get a remote? Straight from Sundown/Jacob? Thanks

I knew this day would come but haven't been preparing for it. My battery has passed away. It has been through a lot being the first battery I've had since I got into car audio. I need something new. I am running a JL JX360 2 channel for my mids and highs along with a Hifonics BRZ1200.1D for my BL 15. Its somewhere around a total of 1500-1800 wrms. (When the voltage is up, which hasn't been in a while) I have a Stinger 180 amp alternator installed as well. The dimensions I have to work with are 11"w 8"d 8"h. I was looking at an XS power D3400 or maybe a Kinetic KHC1800. Would these be enough to run as the only battery in the car?? (which is a better choice between the two?…

So the other day I was messin' a but with my audio equipment... I noticed a very distinct buzzing coming from my front stage amp... realizing this could be a number of issues, I've ruled out the wiring already... I am going to take this time to upgrade my amp from the Kenwood 4ch to a Soundstream 2ch... Was looking into the Sundown 125.2 but for the money the Soundstream has more headroom.... This is the amp... TRA800.2 : Specs are as follows: * OUTPUT (WATTS):RMS @ 4 Ohms: 200x2 * RMS @ 2 Ohms: 400x2 * RMS Bridged @ 4 Ohms: 800 X 1 * T.H.D.: < 0.02% * Frequency Response (Hz): 10 - 50k * SIGNAL TO NOISE RATIO: > 115dB * DAMPING FACTOR:…

Ok I have a mechamn 220a alt... Gonna use 6 xs d3100s... Was planning on running 2 4/0 runs for alts positives and 2 4/0 runs for the alts negative....well after looking at it I dont know if it will work... I don't have much room on the alts posts... Ive heard good things about their amps, and I love the volt meter on the air models. Are the specs accurate on these, and are they good quality? They are dirt cheap, 134$ for the t700 with shipping to AK added on amazon. I was thinking of getting the t700 to put on the Dcons if it would be better then the soundstream rubicon 2.600 that I currently have. Couldn't find any actual reviews on them though. Thought I'd ask for your opinions, lot of smart people here. Thanks guys.

I was looking at the Alpine PDX 2.150 to run the Clarus 61-2 comps. I talked with Scott and he says that the PDX is not a really good SQ amp. He did mention the new JL HD amps. I'm looking for a amp like these that are small, don't get hot because it will be located in the cargo compartment in my Trailblazer.

So I just placed an order for the new Crescendo Mezzo components and I was wondering how to wire them up once I receive them. I have a 2 channel Kicker ZR1000 (I got it for $30 and it works perfect ) that I will use to power them. The only problem is that I'm not sure what to put the crossover module at. The options are bypass, lowpass and hipass. I used the hipass for the coaxials, but I'm not sure if that would be used for the components, since it has the crossover box. Also, I'm going to keep my stock head unit. I have 2 Crescendo BC2ks (strapped) and the kicker ZR1000. What should I use to connect the RCAs up to? For my friend's cars, they have a little blue box fro…

I have 60' (40' clear/silver, 20' blue) of Monster 400 Series 1/0. I need another 100' (40'clear/silver, 60') blue though. So I was wandering if I should bother hunting like crazy for more Monster, which I have been doing, or sell it all and get some Knu Fleks 1/0. Basically, should I hunt for another 100' of Monster 400, or say screw it and get 160' Knu Fleks?

Which is a legit website to buy a BNIB Alpine 9887, not refurbished. PowersellerNYC: PowersellerNYC - Alpine CDA-9887 CDA-9887 CD/MP3/WMA/AAC Receiver -says refurbished and for the same money OCS is advertising its making me think OCS's may be refurbished as well. -not sure on the sites credibility DCCA: Alpine CDA-9887 CD/MP3/WMA/AAC Receiver - iPhone Compatible -says BNIB factory sealed -reviews on this site go both ways as well ASW: Alpine CDA-9887 CD, MP3, WMA PLAYER -doesn't say…

Well I been wanting to upgrade and been looking into a lot of stuff and pretty much came down to a whole new system lol. But I been thinking and I have this nice 9887 HU installed with HSK165 up front and currently using the passive crossovers. I figured why not try running them active? huh why not so I been looking up info on a active system and now looks like I need a new amp in order to do this. So I've been digging around for an amp and not sure what I should go with, Ive been looking at a Alpine PDX-F4, DD C5C, SD SAX-125.4 or 100.4 (used), IA 6.4 and even a Zed Draconia-II and the problem is a can't really make up my mind cause I'm looking for 100-125w x 4ch amp for…
