Does anyone make a recone that would work for a JL 15w6? It has a 2.5" VC on it... Here is a link to it... http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...Product_ID=2730 I guess i could recone it myself but im not sure if anyone makes anything that would work for it and idk if JL can do it because it isn't made anymore... Any help would be appreciated....

will a 12" magnum be ok with around 1.4k for music? what about for full on bass tracks? how much power are you guys giving them?

OK guys I need your expertise and experience. I have been looking into these and I have been hearing completely differnt opinions. So what I'd like to know is... -How is the SQ? (I know the SPL pounds) -How big of a box have you guys been using?(ive heard that they need a bigger box than reccomended on the site) How many watts have you guys been runnin to them? After trying to work out a place to fit my Mpyre 65Ms in my Tercel wagon, I realized it wasn't going to happen. I sold them and bought a new pair of Hertz Space 6 mids. The Hertz are 2" shallower 2" than the Mpyres, which will allow me to build some kick pods for them. Is anybody here running the Space 6 in kicks? How do they sound? The only constant in my system over the last year are my DLS R4 comps. I bought them last year for a steal. The 4"s are mounted in the stock under dash locations in the Toyota, with the tweeters in the outboard AC vents. What to look for when purchasing a SPL only subwoofer?

I was hoping someone could give me thoughts on going from a 15" Mag in a 3cuft sealed box to a 12" Arc Audio Flatline in a 2cuft portet box tuned to 32hz. I'm happy with the Mag's output and sq but I think I want a little more output now. Does the Flatline keep the same sq as the Mag does? How is the output of the Flatline compared to the Mag? Are the lows of the Flatline as good as the Mags? Thanks

Quick question. I currently own a Kicker L7 and am looking to get a new system. I'm thinking of getting two 12' MTX 8500's with a 1,000 watt amp. I can get them for $110 each through MTX, which is why I'm really not looking at other brands though they may be a little better. I'm a metal head so I'll be putting them in a sealed enclosure. I'm told these will hit hard but will also stay clean which is what I'm going for. Does anyone own or have any experience with these subs? Am I crazy to not get them for the price? Would I be better off getting Kicker CVX's for $20 more? Any feedback would be great.

im lookin into 2 ES-15Dv.2 subs from them...getting a **** good deal too......will these hit nice....and are they as nice of subs as what everyone says? ....im only puttin 500 to each....but i want them louder than the 8's i had......which i will never purchase anything from that company or even send someone to them.

which out of these are better for SPL purposes, but i also want them to be able to be used daily. -orion H2(i know that can be used daily and is great for spl) -SI magnum D2 -Treo SSX i want like 8000 w rms, and i want to be able to use it daily.

Whats the ohm load if you wire eight dual four ohms drivers? I know four of them ran "series/parallel" is 2ohm load. Would that mean adding four more in the same wiring configuration make it a final load of 4ohms?

hi guys, i would like to ask for some options to look at. need some inputs here, what sub would be good for a .5 - .6 enclosure / 200-500rms / decent lows / good SQ, sounds good even for metal, rap, hiphop, etc. ( so something with a little SPL on it)? so far only things i see are PG RSDc 10", RE SR 10", and RE REx 10" do i have any other options on this? good price would be around $200 and highs on $300 for a pair. so $100 - $150 each...

I love my 67 mustang coupe - absolutely no room in the rear seat for passengers (just too damn small), so that's where the groceries go now that my trunk is filled with SI goodness In case you were wondering, that's a Hifonics Brutus BX1000D amp for each magnum - and then there's two Zapco Reference 350 amps (one's shown, one's hidden) for the double set of SI 307's I have in the kick pods up front, and sunk into the package tray in the rear.

Hi guys I recently had recommendation for a 15 inch BL , but i was thinking about an xcon . Which is deeper and louder off a 1500d ,and any box and tuning suggestions. even open to other suggestions in brand or size.Set up is for a dodge durango.One other question I see alot of recommendations for Sundown amps are they clearly the best in performance and power, or is it the great customer service I hear about. i orderd a set of 2 mli's from SSA store for my front stage active setup. one of the mli's work great VERY loud n clear with my 100.4. the other mli works but it is very muffled. when i first installed it i only turned the HU up to about 15 just to get some sound from them and i noticed the one mli was muffled. i played with it a bit checked all the wires no cuts no issues. i am not sure how to test the speaker on a DMM? i might have just recived a bad speaker? what do you guys think? thanks!

Hey everbody i have a small question i have a 12 in icon that ive had since about january and today when i was listing to it and it started to make a popping sound right where the dust caps at and only at hi volumes and i was wondering if anybody might know what it might be.

Ugh.... So I was keeping this SA-15 I had near my closet next to my TV, not in use just holding it as I'm trying to sell it. I'm sitting in the opposite side of the room on the computer when a screw and clamp supporting a shelf in my closet rips out of the wall, a loud popping sound that makes me turn around in surprise. Amazingly the shelf manages to still stay up. I go over to inspect and see the clamp on the far left is not on to well. I wiggle it slightly, BAM whole damn shelf comes crashing down along with everything that was on it. We are talking a 3 foot long shelf about 6 feet in the air. I had lots of heavy schoolbooks on it, I keep jeans on it, notebooks/folder…

So the speakers in my 04 Accord just arent cutting it. I had them sounding good on rap, country, pop, etc but when it came time to play bands like a day to remember or wage war they just were super harsh. So I played with the EQ today and had to basically lower all my settings to make it bearable on the kind of music. It still sounds pretty good on other genres but just not as loud as before. In the past I have always ran coaxial and it is what I prefer for ease of installation. I've also in the past used the HU to power them. I've run Polks DB series many times and like how they sound, also I run JBLs in my gfs TL and they sound pretty good too. But I figured I'd see wha…

I need a class D amp for my mag15 (since I can't find a PPI PC2350). I am looking for 1000-1500 watts at either 1ohm or 4ohms. I have a PG Tantrum 1200.1 but it sucks my elec system dry and I want to get a Class D amp to help out on my elec system some. I found a good priced amp for the LI 12 I'm getting soon and was hoping to get some feed back on if it is a good buy or not. I've currently got a Brand X audio BA18. I believe it's from a build house in the states that makes a Moab is it. I'm from the uk by the way. It's currently in a 4.5cuft box tuned to 30Hz with about 60sqin of port area. Although small it does sound nice. Just wondering what you guys would do with it. I can get some T/S specs up in a bit when home. Thanks karl It's being run off a sundown 3500 @ 1ohm.
