Im fixing to start a box for a 12 for some guy over in jacksonville and between all of my scrap wood and the scrap wood from his enclosure i should be able to pull off a 2.4cuft @34Hz enclosure for the assasins with a F3 at ~28Hz. I wanna see what these things look like when they are wanging, and if she likes the ported box better than the WO ill keep the WO and throw thoes Audiobahns to see what it sounds like for HT if not she will get her WO back. I need help finding out what sub or subs I should be putting in my car. I have a camaro, and I am able to put a 5 cubic ft box in my car and I currently dont have much power as an amp. 750 bridged at 4 ohm. The RF 500/2 Where I work I get discounts on Alpine's and RF. What are some non main stream brand subwoofers? like fi audio, or dd audio, or t3 audio. not like mtx or jl or kicker

Can anybody with a 1998ish jimmy/blazer/bravada show me some pics of where they mounted their tweeters and how hard it was. I recently got a set and havent found a good spot to mount them. Please tell me how long it took and what tools were needed. thank you!

Just installed couple of D2's in some odd looking enclosure (psuedo-seat like) in the back of a Dakota quad cab. No rear seats. I'll get some pics up and see if I can't get it metered this week. Quite impressive, to say the least. Oh, ran off a single JBL BP1200.1. The poor bastard is going to be deaf within a month. 33hz will wind you if you're not expecting it. Very very cool. What to look for when purchasing a SPL only subwoofer?

for SPL and the sub that hits the low notes the best in a ported box seeing 1000 rms.

I am looking for some high quality, high efficiency, 2 ohm 6 1/2 components for my GTO. They will be running off of a US Amps USA-4300x. Sound quality is most important with output being a very very close second (hence wanting 2 ohms and high efficiency). So, any suggestions for high quality (in sound and build), high output 6 1/2's? Price cut-off is < $500

I have been learning of some new brands as I have been on here. Let me rephrase, I have learned of brands I have never even heard of before. So in this light I thought maybe peps would give a shout out to all the quality brands they have ever had or heard of because I fell so left out, here in the sticks.

But what sub do you think would be better in a 2001 toyota celica gts, 2x 10" SSA ICON D1 or 2x 10" FI BL D1 Powered off of a SAZ-2000D

I know PA mofo's aren't all that. But guy at work has one supposedly barely used that I can get for 40 bucks til I can swing my Zcon. Think I should pick it up or just pass? It's a 12 BTW.

i was thinking for my 2006 install 3 10"s of something instead of a single 12" RL-p D2. Both will be in 2-2.5 cubes ported to 31 hz (so i need 3 10's that will be nice in a small ported box. I know for sure it will get louder with the 3 10's of good quality, but is it really worth the xtra money? and space and power aint a problem, my trunk is 42" long. list of drivers i may be using (I would prefer a black cone to match my 2006 install) no IA or ID, i want something new: RE SE 10" SI mag (Do they make 10") RL-I 10 OZ ME Arc Arc's eD 11OV2's anything you pple would reccomend.

I received my 12” Level 3 and was super excited when I opened it up. It is an amazing looking sub. However, once I pulled it out of the box, I saw that the braided wires (tinsel leads??) that connect to the terminals were disconnected on both sides (both terminals). Is this normal? And if so, is it something I can fix.

I've narrowed it down to this set, image dynamics 6.5 component. CTX65CS. Is this the best I can get for my money($160)? Im looking for some feedback on these. And I also need an amp to power one set of these and a set of 6x9s.

where should i put my amp (zx1000.1) on my car, should i put it on the box (Fi Q 12") or should i mount it on the side of the trunk?

I just got a 2003 toyota celica gts and am set on getting a 12" SSA ICON D2. I am going for SQ and dont know whether to get a ported box or sealed. Also, I have heard that facing the sub up is a good idea in a celica because of the shape of the tailgate. Anyway, i need to know info on the box and what amp to get. Hey guys, I want to rebuild my 1803s with 5 or more spiders... be it very loose or very tight spiders to kryptonitewhite-proof them. When I replaced the AP30001D something amazing happened... the van started playing as it was supposed to. Most incredible amzing low end output. Air movement that no one would believe unless they actually sat in it, but if you did, rear-end leakage was destined to occure. My family and I had a blast for 2 days, so many looks of aw and amazement and sometimes fear when suddenly things would be recorded louder and lower. Looks of "is the van going to explode? What could describe the noise of clipping/clicking when my sub hits a low note?
