Currently have the PG RSD's Been happy with them since day one especially being that I paid 50$ for them new. However, a tweeter blew awhile ago and I replaced it with an Infinity Ref series I had laying around. To say the least, its half asssed. I want to upgrade to something really good, my budget being about $200-$215 Ive heard good things about the DLS. Opinions or comments welcome. I just ordered an Icon 10 last week. (which im really excited about) While checking my order status i came to find that during the phase awaiting shipment, that meant my sub was actually being built as i ordered it. This is new to me as the last time i ordered subs they were just shipped right to me off the shelf. I kind of like that my sub was made as i ordered it. Im seriously lookin at gettin 2 of the S12X2, but i have a couple problems 1. I have no clue how to build a box...and dont know where i can buy one tough enough to get the job done 2. I dont know if they will fit into the trunk of a 2003 Evo Can anyone hook me up with some info on this?

I just bought a dcon 12 I'm putting in a 1.75 sealed box with 400w rms I know they hold up strong in the sq department but how about spl?? Will it be loud in a xtracab tacoma?

I'm looking to put a sub in my g/f's car. i want it to be as loud as possible. im open to suggestions on how to tune the box and model of sub. here are the requirements: must have a final ohm load of 4 ohm 300-500w rms atleast a 12" or 15" MUST BE UNDER $100 SHIPPED (NEW OR USED) any help is greatly appreciated. I've been looking at your ""SQL"" subs and noticed that there's not reccomended enclosure specs. Can you post up what you think is best for each size in sealed and ported? And whether ported or sealed is optimal? Also When are the DVC subs going to be out?

ive been curious about running one of these ib. i have 300rms at 4ohm available. im going to be upgrading to a 2way active front stage and im considering ib for some improved sq but i dont want to lose tomuch spl.... currently i have a 12" AA arsenal in 2.2 cubes tuned to ~30 hz seeing 600rms (my amp is 300rms at 4, 600 at 2 /= kenword excelon kac x10d). i still need to take some messurements to see if it will fit in the ski way. maybe ill have to find a 15 or two... if i was to sell my sub and amp i bet i could get about 300-350 for them or about 200-250 for the sub/box. what does a sub need to be run ib? ive read either lots of cone area or lots of xmax?

Is it possible to easily mod the SSA DCON 12 to have a higher resonance frequency, say 39Hz? I know some subs appear to allow this by simple dust cap replacement (replace the stock dust cap with a lighter one).

I want to upgrade my front stage in my Durango. I was to fiberglass my doors to hold a woofer (maybe 7-8"), midbass (4-5"), and tweeter. Looking at the Goldwood brand? Any other suggestions? This will be an active setup with a seperate amp to power each different set of speakers (1 for woofers, 1 for midbass, 1 for tweeters)

In the near future im going to be setting a new system in my car, im going to be running the sundown sae-1200d for my 2 sa-8's, and the sax-100.4d for my mid's and highs, and of course doing the big 3, and running a yellow top optima for my starting batt. now my factory alternator is a 110 amp. i was planning on running a tsunami 2 fared capacitor, so my question is for my set-up and system will this be sufficient, or will i need to upgrade my alt, or just add a batt.?

I was wondering how a 15" mag sealed with 1000 watts will sounds in a 2.8 box. I was hoping to achieve a LSQ setup if that is possible. I would like to know if in a sealed setup the mag will be able to put out a fair amount of volume becasue i already know that no matter what i do to it it will sound great i am just wondering about the volume? I have a ED Nine.1 and I need help deciding on what subs to get. The amp supposed to do 1200w RMS @1ohm 12.5v. I have a MB Quart 4125 powering a pair of ID CTX65cs comps and a pair of ID CTX65 coaxials. This is all going into a '09 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I listen to all types of music. I want something to get low and loud. Would 2 Icon 12's be a better choice than 1 Xcon 12 with that amp?

Hi, all... I'm currently running a TC-3K Dual 2Ohm on a Sundown 1500D and looking to make a change. I like the single 15" setup so I'm looking at the Havoc 15". The enclosure would be sealed, net 2.5 cubes, 1.5" mounting baffle for the sub. Looking for LSQ setup. Any of you have experience with both of the subs or how the Havoc would compare. The TC-3K hits incredibly hard down low but it's just not as "tight" as I would like and doesn't have much of a top end in my opinion. Also I'm open to other subs as well. Budget less than $400. well got my Si Mag 12 about 5 days ago now and it rocks. I'm using it in place of my 160v.2 for right now. The 160v.2 is nice but i'm having space issues and the Mag does a very good job in place of it. Lacks a little bit of the output i had but i think two of them will do nicely. But strangest thing is, when i called them i noticed they had the same area code as me! They are like 20mins from me!! Thats awesome. I hope i can go and meet them.

I just got a 2002 police interceptor for 2k and want to put a system in it. I listen only to rap and love deep clear bass; I want either a single 15 or dual 12's. I want to spend $1500 or less Should i get a single 15 or 2 12's? What brand should i get? What should i power it with? Why? I know i didnt provide a lot of information (i dont know what other info to provide) and this is all personal preference but any help is much appreciated. I don't know trunk dimensions at this point (car's in the shop)
