got a tahoe,need to know what xxx setup to go with,either 2 xxx 15's,3xxx 15's,4 xxx 15's,2 xxx 18's or 3 xxx 18's,help me choose one pls. :ph34r:

Theres going to be a meet on october 21st and tommyk is bringing his TL. So ill have a chance to meter the MAW-15. I dont remember reading any scores from it, so im curious to see what it will do. Granted, its in a 3 cu. ft. box tuned to 28hz on about 800 watts, in a large car. So im not expecting anything great, but it does the job just fine for me. I know 2 MJ-18's got metered, but has anyone had the 15's metered on a daily setup?

i want to buy a 12 inch ssa dcon and run it off an re/us amps dts 800.1 mono block which runs 400watts at 1ohm and 280 at 2 ohms. can the dcon be wired down to 1ohm stable or should i keep it at 2 ohms and run the 280rms to it? Thanks

Any body ever heard this component set. I believe they were made by Adire before they went under. Not alot of reviews on the net about them.

looking to spend $450 or less. currently, im looking at the cdt audio es-62i or the re audio xxx components. i know these components sell for a lot more but there are places online that are offering deals on them. i have a 200watt eclipse amp (willing to upgrade if necessary). im looking for a set that will go well with 2 ported 12s (like fi q or icons) that will be either powered with 1500watts or 2500watts. i dont have any access to listen to different components so i have to decide from experiences people have online. if you recommend other components, please post them as well. appreciate the help!

I've been looking at your ""SQL"" subs and noticed that there's not reccomended enclosure specs. Can you post up what you think is best for each size in sealed and ported? And whether ported or sealed is optimal? Also When are the DVC subs going to be out?

I hope I can get some help here. I hooked up my SI 302 components tonight. They are in their temporary location until I figure out the best spot for the best sound. They are currently located where the stock speaks would go on my door of my 1999 Olds Alero. There are no door panels on currently. The mids are mounted pretty well onto a double MDF baffle that is 1.5" thick. The doors are as sealed as I could possibly get. They have a layer of liquid sound deadening on the inside of the door cavity and the skin of the door. Over this is a layer of mat type deadening. They are being run off of the bridged front and rear channels of a Memphis Belle. Now my dilemma. …

Hey, i've been looking for days on the internet but there are just too many subs to choose from. I asked about what subwoofer would be best for me on another forum but lets say they werent very helpfull. So im looking for a single or 2 subwoofers (dont know what's best yet) for in my car. I got a kind of low budget but i just want to get some nice bass. It is for daily use btw, if it matters. I live in The Netherlands, so im not sure if all subwoofers can be shipped to here. Well, guys this is my first post and I am in the market for a new sub when my cars arrives. In September, I am getting my 2015 Mustang, and I would like to have some opinions. Since I don't know the exact space I will have I do know I will still need to fit golf clubs in the trunk. My goals are to have a very accurate and deep bass. So, I am thinking on the lines of a sealed box. Unless I can design and fabricate a ported box that will be accurate. I am willing to put the money down for a good amp and sub. Any recommendations on setup please tell me. I want to do it right the first time so I don't have to do it again.

I compared a Gcon 15 and an SA15 and found something that sparked a couple questions for me: 1. Is there any simple reason why the Gcon requires a 1.5 ft^3 bigger than the SA15 to achieve the same curve and... 2. Why is it that the Gcon's curve is not a smooth curve in the same box? I know they're different drivers and will perform differently in different conditions, but more in depth, or rather, the science behind it. Could I just not know how to use the program? lol

should i use special speaker wire from my amp to the woofer? what gauge should i use?

I'm getting a new Fit Sport and considering that its the premium sound i was just going to upgrade by intergrating a sub into it, problem is, i am picky. I dont want overpowering bass but i want to feel it, and it has to be clear. It will be a single sub setup of whatever size, since i have plenty of room *grand total of 41 cubes in the car* Have at this, i want to do it right on the first try this time.....

Im so happy my Oz Audio matrix elite 15" arrived yesterday I just thought id post some pics. I can't wait to see what this sub can do, ive heard nothing but good things about Oz. Im in the process of building the box as well and ill post some pics once i get further along with it

Ok, so I have power limitations. So could I be able to get good sound from any subs in this site with that power or I just wasting my time and money? I'm better buying Kicker, MTX, Cerwin Vega or something like that?

I am looking for some mids to put in my doors and wondering if these can do the trick. Id like to use 2 in each door off a SAX100.4. Then some dome tweets on the a-pillar off a SAX50.4. Like to use SSA but these are the only "speakers" they carry. Properly installed with deadening, can these round out my system. Id love to glass the doors with a nice setup but dont have the skills or the funds right now for that. I get tired of not being able to clearly hear the vocals, guitar, drums, etc. All my truck info is in the sig. All suggestions or comments are welcome.

Ok - I just blew my Memphis M-class 6x9's rated at 75 watt RMS - I have warranty - and I'll get new ones - but Im gonna sell them now - My questions is - what would be a good replacement for them - I am all about good mid SQ - I want a very nice sound quality and handle my amp too - 100 rms x 4 " Memphis " I was looking at the Eclipse SA8394 3ways , and the JL VR690CXi . Hello all, I have a '17 Audi A3 and I recently had Best Buy install a Pioneer TS-WX1010A and it sounds great... However I have a huge issue with it. If I turn off the music or even put the volume to 0, the sub goes berserk. The guy at Best Buy has never seen that and of course has no idea what could be the problem... Any ideas? I've been looking on getting a better speaker set up for my 2002 4Runner, and with my knowledge (beginner) I figured the easiest thing to do would be getting a comp set and wanted to see if you guys could recommend a company or an actual set! I'm not super worried about pricing. I don't need anything cheap because I'd rather have quality products, but at the same time my ABSOLUTE limit would be $1500-$2000 though I'd like to stay under that. My car comes with 4 mid speakers and 2 tweeters, though most sets come with two mids so I wouldn't mind getting two more down the road. I have a ram quad cab that they will be going in. I will be using the center console for the placement of the subs. Dim. that I have to work with are 26 long 17 high and 15.5 wide. Those dims or smaller but I have plenty of vol. for a wide range of subs. Subs will be in sealed enclosure. I'm wanting sq but with a little attitude. I'm using CDT ES 06 for mid bass in my doors and CDT ES 04 and tweets in kick panels. My amp that will be powering the subs is a US Amps old school 100 HC.
