Subwoofers / Speakers

I'm stuck between these two setups?? i want the best spl and sq possible... i will be putting these in a sealed box around 2.4 cubic feet per chamber..i cannot fit a ported box for 15"s in my car!! so which will it be? 2 15" Fi Q's or 2 15" memphis mojo's the amp i have is a titanium 2400 1ohm stable!!

well today at school my friend brought his explorer into the shop for an oil change....i could help but notice a huge "M" on his back window and knew what it was when i saw it. hes got 2 15" memphis mojo's and 2 MC2000D's powering them. his chit was slappin hard as hell. i have never heard memphis subs before and was thoroughly impressed by them. one of the loudest setups with 2 15's ive heard next to btls... what would you say are comparable subs to the mojo's...do a lot of people run them? what do you guys think about them in general...worth the money?

I am going to build a fiberglass box that fits under my rear seats. I can fit 10s or 12s. I will probably have 2cubic feet before port and sub displacement. I was thinking of doing 2 mach 5 ixl 10s ported, or 2 diamond d6s. i currently have a 10w3 sealed powered by a 500w alpine and its not cutting it. Im looking for subs that get really loud but still sound good. I mostly listen to rap but would like something that sounds decent on all types of music. any suggestions? its going in an 03 ram quadcab. thanks.

I have been looking at Fi for a long time now and have some money in line to get one. What my idea is to buy a 15" BTL fully loaded (Dual 2) for daily driving as my Accent is my only vehicle. I am currently running 2 Power Acoustic 15's from a single Ultra Linear 1600Watt amp. I am currently running stock electrical (not sure if upgrading will screw with my warranty.) Along with buying this i am looking at the Ultra Linear 2400@Watt amplifier. I am curious if that will be stable enough to run it. with out hurting it. in order to run that amp I would be running it bridged at 4ohms and getting the 2400RMS. Who has experience with both subs or who knows which is better? how do they compare with eachother?

I have a pair of Infinity Kappa 60.9 components. The left tweeter fried after a week. I cannot figure out why. I was feeding them around 80 watts and they seemed to shine. Anyway I am looking to replace the tweeters with something better. I need something large to fill the huge 2 3/8 inch mounting hole from the infinitys. and it needs to be 4 ohm. I am going to cross it over at 3.5khz. Please help me find something. My budget is tight. I cannot go over 25 bucks a pop. I found these and they seem to fit the bill. Ok I have the CVX's on a 2400 watt amp..puts out 1700 (RMS) at 1ohm...They are in a pro Sealed Box sprayed with Bed liner (pretty solid) and each chamber has around 2.2 to 2.4 cubic ft give or take!! If i put the Q's in the same box what will be the Differences?? I know the Q's will be more clear and crisp sounding... Which will Hit the LOWS better? Which Will Be LOUDER? Would do a ported Pro box but cant fit one in my Trunk..so Sealed is the only option Here!

About the Pioneer Premier REV series speakers? I had four coax 6x9"s on 75 rms each, and loved them. I am thinking about getting more. plus the 6 1/2" components to run active. They are cheap to at only $100ish Thoughts?

I know this may be a dumb question..but i believe a dumb question is one that was never asked!! so if someone would clear this up for me i'd appreciate it! ok my buddy just sold me his 15" fi Q dvc 1ohm... i already have a kicker cvx dvc 4ohm now i am gonna buy another fi Q but money is an issue right now and i need some knock right now so the question is if i wire the fi q down to 2ohms and wire the cvx to 2ohms will it be a 1ohm load or not? and why? i know they are different voice coils but 2 subs dropped to 2ohms=1ohm and my amp is 1ohm stable, would this work or will it fry my amp?

I have the 8 speaker Boston Audio "premium" system in my 300C and have recently upgraded the (3) 3.5" speakers in the dash to Infinity Kappas. A very bright sounding speaker. I am looking to replace the 6X9's in the rear deck and front doors, but in order to get the most out of the factory Boston amp, I would like to find 2-ohm speakers similar to the infinity dash speakers that I have already replaced. However the Inifinity 6X9's take quite a bit of power (and will not be adding another amp), are there other brands that make 2-ohm coaxials??

Hi there, im looking to get a new 12" sub sealed and focusing more towards SQ than SPL. Im pretty well decided on the Fi SSD 12" with the copper coil. It seems to fit the budget and sounds like it will do what i want it to. Im currently using the Mach 5 audio MAW-15 and want to change it up and regain a little trunk space. The amp im running is the Alpine MRP-M850 so it should be enough for the SSD. What would be the benefit of getting the Q over the SSD, they both look pretty similar except the Q would take more wattage which i dont have anyways. Thanks

So I have been tossing around a few ideas. 1st I am thinking of running 2 IXL 10's in a center console, vented enclosure tuned to 32hz (not sure what cuft would be best?) these would be run off my 1200.1 Tantrum @ 2 ohms The goal of this set up is to save some space over my current set up while maintaining similar output. My current set up is a single TC sounds 15 3k 3.2ft^3 tuned to 32hz. I friend of mine is doing a budget system and wants some good coaxle's. He just wants a pair of 6x9s for the rear and 5 1/4s for his front doors. I had a pair of 3 way MTX 6x9s back in the days and imo they gave me pretty good highs. Who else makes good quality coaxle's? He's going to power them off a Alpine CDA-9886.

in your (non biased) opinion, which sub would you say, in there optimal enslure w/at least rms power running to them, would sound better/be louder? a few guys on CA.com i was talking to said that i should get the HDC's over the BL's and that they are louder. he said the HDC's are more comparable to the BTL's....of course i have my doubts but i want to know what you guys think thanks

I want to buy 2 Fi BTL 18" but the place where I would be getting it installed at want to sell me 2 Addictive Audio 18", but they only have 2000 watts RMS each and I want 4000 to 5000 watts RMS. you guys think that i can get a Fi BTL with that kind of power. I still dont have any amps. For 2 Addictive audio they want to sell it to me for $1000. I need all you guys opinon.
