2 Fi BL15, 2 Fi Q15, 2 RE SXX15, 2 SSA ICON15. which subs will be best over all in a mid size suv?

I have a 95 s10 which im planning to put some new gear in. first i will be using the new brz3000.1D ( which is cea certified btw) it is 3000w rms at 1 ohm. I have enough room to fit 2 15" btl's, but i was wondering how much of a difference going with 2 btl 12's would be compared to the btl 15's? i have a 150 amp alt and i will be using the biggest batt. xs offers. SO I just got a new amp ( Cadence DCA 2500.1) and Im going to move on from my Memphis M3 10s, mainly because I blew one of them but I want something louder deeper etc... I have a ford Explorer sport trac so that gives you an idea of the kind of vehicle. I want what ever I get to be extremely loud, but of course I want some quality sound in there. I designed a 6 cuft net for the Qs with 1.2 cuft of port area tuned to 30 hz. Or for the BTL 5 cuft net tuned to 36 hz. I seriously cant decide. But if you rec. other subs, the gross cuft of the box really cant go over 8cuft due to space issues ( I would lose 2 seats instead of just one). Any suggestions would be greatly appreci…

I'm still tossing ideas around and was wondering which would work best in the space I have. I have 44"w X 30"d X 18"h to work with could be a little taller but was hoping to keep it close to 18" or less. I was wondering if 2 gcon 15"s would have more output than 1 18" icon. I'm pretty sure I'm going to run a crescendo bc 2000d at 2 ohms. What do you guys think would have more output? It will be in a 03 ford explorer.

So I had my system down for two days.One to upgrade my power wires and grounds.2had to get ruffles out of my speaker box the bag got pulled in an destroyed them chips every damn where lol.but anyway during this time I noticed the 6x9's sound like ass.like the cones were busted I haven't looked.just wondering if pressure in the trunk may be able to do this?

Hi all, First of all let me start out by saying how happy I am with my 12" ICON I bought almost a year ago. This thing blew me away for the price I paid, but now I want more! Right now my setup is 1 12" ICON powered by a Sundown Audio SAZ-1000d and I have a couple of questions about upgrading... 1) Should I get another ICON or upgrade to 1 XCON? (either setup will probably be going in a sealed box) 2) Was thinking about purchasing another SAZ-1000d and using the master/slave feature to power whichever setup I go with, or would you recommend buying a different amp at like 2000 watts RMS instead of linking two together? Also, cost is important to me.

In optimum enclosures ported around 33hz, off of about 2000rms in an extended cab ranger, which would have the potential to get louder, 2 Icon 15's or 1 Zcon 18.

Title says pretty much everything. What would produce the best sound given enough power is present. I have heard that more low xmax drivers will produce less distortion, any truth to that?

well my buddy bought the solo x 10's for 350 plus 75 shipping. he ran into major car troubles and asked if i wanted them for 300 no questions asked lol. im sure most of u know i totaled this chicks car a few days ago and have fines to pay SO i sat down with the parents and they agreed to lend me the cash for them ( thank god) i have to pay back $50 per week plus $10 a week intrest so its not all that bad. so i got the solo x's for $360. iv sold my mtx 1501d ( got it fixed) and am using the money from that for a 220 amp alternator. ill also be getting 2 optima yellow tops in the back.so now the big question... the subs are dual 1 ohm, so would i have to get 2 zx 1500.1's,…

Which would you use? I'm not sure what I'd use for power.. Depends on my electrical.... I'm thinking a Maxxsonics amp or Sundown..

got an better audio 1600m1 would the 12's handle the power or should I get the 15's gonna run them at 1 ohm

2 maw 15s on the way.. time to design the box.. im building a ported wedge style box.. how deep are these subs? k well im getting 2 maw-15's and jw how many watts they can take.. i know they are rated for 500 but wat should i run them at daily with my earthquake phd5000 amp.. how hard do most ppl push them? would 600 daily b fine? wats the most you would say i should run them daily? wat if i go 2 a comp and im just runnin them for a couple min.? how many watts then?

Been looking at mach 5 audio and heard so much good thing about it. I have a friend that Dj's hip- hop and trance. I was wondering how 2 mj 18 would do in a Bass reflex (ported) box off of 1000 rms? Will these be loud enough indoor and outdoor? Usually djs for like 50 - 200 max of people. I know these arent PA speakers but will they work?

Hay everyone...this kid i know wants 2 18's in his 04 explorer . I have been reading up on these and from what i read they are very nice . Anyway...how much port do these like . I'm thinking like 5-6 cubes each tuned to 35 hz...atleast 500 watts on each . He hasn't decided on amp yet . They are going to fire up and port up also . I need help deciding on these.i got a punch 1000bd and it does 811 rms @ 2ohms(this would be for the mj-18s) and 1215@1ohm for the maw 15s.I got the whole bed of my truck for box room.so i could build a little bigger more efficient box for the 18s since my power is a little low.I got plenty for the 15s,i was just considering the 18s because ive never had 18s and i like LOW bass.no contests just me listening and maybe a little showin off at work.Which would be better for my taste.18s would be awesome if i got enuff to power them.but if the 15s would be louder with 400 more watts than the 18s i may go that route.ive emailed mark at mach 5 and havent gotten any responses.tha…

Just so you know they won't have a ton of power on them. Just the sub channel on my Kicker ZX700.5? I'm trying to get something that is a louder and lower the JL12W3's in there now. I'm moving those to my Camaro.

2 Mach 5 MJ18's on 600w's to the pair. I absolutely love these subs. I've rivaled systems with 4.5 times the power I have. This sound pretty good on some rock and classical too.
