  1. Ok Im looking on getting my amp for my door speakers.. I only listen to rap and NOTHING else.. I plan on using the Mach 5 Audio MLI-65 They say they are 100 rms at 4 ohm? Now the question is, Cud I wire them up into 2 ohm and just use a two channel amp ran at 2 ohms? Or shud I just buy the four channel amp and run them at 4 ohms? My amp choices that im stickign with are.. Rockford Fosgate T4004 Does 50 x 4 @ 4 ohms and its under rated.. Or.. Rockford Fosgate T3002 Does 100 x 2 @ 2 ohms and its under rated.. Not sure which to choose.. And are those Mach 5 Audio speakers straight speakers to run? And other suggestions im open to but Im sticking to Rockford Fosgate for the …

I currently have a Polk Audio SR 124 SVC 12" subwoofer. It is not particularly loud but sounds great. I am more concerned about SQ. I plan to redesign my trunk and would like to go with 2 or 3 10's. I plan on a false floor construction in my 2003 Mustang Cobra trunk. The subs will be facing up in the middle of the trunk and powered by a Zapco DC reference 1100.1 amp with about 850W @ 4ohms. Source unit is a Pioneer AVIC N3 navigation system. I currently have a Polk Audio SR6500 component set in the doors powered by a Zapco DC Reference 1000.4 amp. My picklist is below: 2- Soundsplinter RL-i10's : pros: great price & reputation cons: not sure 2- Audiopulse Epic …

Hey guys i have done some googling and looking around but i cant find a good enough answer to my question... Its it ok to invert subs when mounting them? The general feeling is due to the low frequencies it is ok but at what crossover level does the sub being inverted affect performance? I was thinking of mounting my IXL 10 inverted to protect the cone from occasional lose crap in the boot plus the motors look really sexy  However i cant help thinking that the motor structure must effect the sound quality as the air wave is being impeded by the Basket Anyway if you guys could give input that would be great I was thinking something like this with 2 IXL 10's *This i…

I really want a 18, extremely bad but I have been lead away from it due to trunk space. My question is, if I put a SSD 18 in a 5.5 cuft box how would it sound compared to a SSD 15 in a 3cuft box. I wouldn't have a problem fitting the 15 in but the 18 would be a snug fit, but its much more appealing.

Well im just starting to learn about the car audio scene...i have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee stock and trying to find the best setup i can get for under a grand for just the sub and amp...hopefully without having to upgrade the electrical alot... i think it would be best to go wit a single sub instead of spending more on 2 subs and cheaper amp...figured better amp would be worth it in the long run..so either looking for one 12" or a 15" sub, space ain't a issue...i mainly listen to rap and r&b...basicly im looking to get a nice clear sub that has plenty of bass wen i want it, not looking for SPL just a good quality daily driver...probally going to go with a ported box also.…

I need help finding out what sub or subs I should be putting in my car. I have a camaro, and I am able to put a 5 cubic ft box in my car and I currently dont have much power as an amp. 750 bridged at 4 ohm. The RF 500/2 Where I work I get discounts on Alpine's and RF. Thats why I am currently running 1 12" P3 in 2.5 cubic ft. sealed box. I was orignally going to put two P3's or 2 Type R's in but from what I have heard from you guys thats not the way I wanna go. I am on a limited budget of 500 bucks unless I can sell my old school memphis 500D amp and my Rockford.(I hate being a poor college student lol) I am after some clean bass. I have been getting a lot of opinions lately for sq subs, amps and setups. I was wondering, per a suggestion earlier, That if I ran 8's in my door for mid bass and a 3" woofer for mid range in kick panel with tweets in A pillar. Has anyone ever made a custom speaker pod in the A piller for a 3" or a 4 " woofer. And if so how does it sound, what are the trouble you run into with that kind of set up. I am trying to shy away from kick panels just cause I am a big guy and the kicks being so low I am afraid I will lose alot of imaging. But here is what I am afraid of putting the mid ranges in the a pillers, that it will be to splashy or high pitch and make your ears bleed wit…

I was looking for a 10 inch sub for my 96 accord, and was interested in the digital design 3510 sub, but have never actually heard it. Im looking for a sub that is slightly more "compact" than my 12s, but still delivers the bass that I crave. Any opinions? pros/cons, etc.? Any suggestions towards another choice will be gladly accepted. Will be running this off of a JBL GTO1201.1 II. Thanks in advance.

A mid made by CIARE (Italian company) for Car Audio. They have a bunch of products home and car... even horns like ID but I don't know what they are worth. http://oaudio.de/media/products/0861656001182438423.pdf I was thinking of pairing those with my ID CD1v.3 horns for a 2way front stage. The new version has pretty much the same specs except for the Fs = 75hz // Re = 3ohm // Qts = 0.16 // Qes = 0.16 // Qms = 4.88 // Mms = 13.19. Your opinion appreciated, Kelvin
