Whats the difference between Fo and Fs

Magnum's are coming! 12" and 15" versions will be available on (estimated) February 27'th. The baskets that we previously used (the "claw" basket) are no longer available...ever. The company that made the baskets went out of business. The baskets we will be using are the 12-spoke baskets finished in a silver/gray powder coat. Pricing on the 12"s is $300 shipped (as usual), and the 15" versions will be $350 shipped*. *Pricing on the 15's is subject to change after we receive the drivers. $350 shipped is only for orders received before we obtain the shipment. Pre-orders are now being accepted for the 12's and 15's.

I Order an Audioque HDC3 12" sub and I was wondering is a 3 cubic ft box tuned to 35Hz is good? I really want deep bass and I want to know if this well get loud? It will be powered off a MB Quart onx1.1500d.

I would like some suggestions on a component set but have no plans to amp them. Please do not tell me its not that hard or just get a cheap speaker amp, I DO NOT WANT TO AMP THEM. I have absolutely no space for it. My sub stage is in my sig, I am not asking for a component set to keep up with it as I rarely have my sub full tilt. Right now I have a set of RE Audio Coax 6.5s, and well they just blow....pretty sure my stock 4x6s/tweeter were louder and sounded better. how does this effect a sub, because i have been looking at the Atomic Apocalypse, 90oz magnet and the AQ HDC3 360oz magnet.Wouldn't the bigger magnet be better, louder?

all i wanna know is when? im soon to be selling my clarions and i need something around the 200-250 dollar per driver range.

I'm looking into the IA 187, I know it can handle the lows well but how about higher frequencies? I'm looking for a sub that can handle midbass well since I listen to mostly rock music. I'm looking to hear from ppl who have personally heard the sub. Thanks

I have a small car and having a family and all that am currently trying to use smaller and smaller audio solutions to maximize space to the point where I really don't even want a subwoofer in my trunk anymore. As many of you guys know I enjoy testing out new mids in my truck. So far...CDT CL-6, infinity kappa 6.1, kappa perfect 6.1, CDT HD-6, BA pro 6.5, and others not worth mentioning. So now I think its time to test out another pair. I have a limited budget this month so <$300 for the pair of mids. Here are a few of my ideas, if you have suggestions please feel free to make them. Depth isnt a factor, but you must remember they need to be able to play well IB. I have ~75x2@8ohm, ~150x2@4ohm, and ~250-300x2@2ohm. So I was coming home from work yesterday and I was bumping at a decent volume. I started to smell something burning, but it wasn't coil. I took a reading of the coils from the amp today and wasn't getting the correct nominal. Took the sub out and read the coils from terminals. One coil wasn't reading out at all, and the other was reading like 12. Took the coil out and this is what I found: Recone was done in November or so. This sucks.. =[

I have a 2002 pontiac bonneville, i have a FI BTL 18 right now, running of of an audiopipe aqx 3500. I ordered a ZCON 18 a few weeks ago and haven't built a box for it yet. The most i can get out of a box is around 6.5 cubes. Any idea which one will be better to go with? also, it's mainly for music thanks

im thinking about doing an active front stage, and i decided to use a Vifa XT25 1" large ring radiator for the tweeter: http://www.zaphaudio.com/offaxis-XT25.gif and something for my midbass/midrange.... i was going to go with the Ascendant Audio polymid which would mate perfectly with the Vifa, but apparently they are out of stock. i was also looking into the RE XXX mids, but i have read that they do not perform as well as they are hyped up to be. they get low, but the midrange is lacking clarity... other drivers i was looking at were: The Seas Reference (RW 165) (freakin expensive) or The OLOGY delta i am looking for a driver that can play low (below 80hz ported or sea…

anyone know the recomended ported box size or if you own one what size and frequency for tuning u use im thinkin maybe a khaotik enclosure but cant find box specs

My cousin just got these in a trade for his box that I built for his 2 cvx 15's. We hooked them up free-air and they sound find but we won't know for sure until we put them in an enclosure. I've seen them sale for $300+ on other forums. Anybody have any idea on how much they are worth? Guy wants him to add cash and we're just trying to see what's a fair asking price for these.
