Has anyone heard of Hammer-tite 10 second bond? I'm wondering if I can use it to do a recone

Can anybody recommend a ported box size for a single S.I. Magnum 15". I`m after STREETBASS / SQ For SPL I`ll insert a port bung Depending on box size, I`ll be getting 3 or 4 Magnums. I can easily fit a 16 Cu.Ft. No-Wall box in the car. Thanks in advance guys. Regards. Marcos

need some help, building a box for two dc LL 4 15,s . I'm ready to install the ports but not sure how long to cut them. I'm using four four inch psp aero ports(only using flare on port exit)subs will be seeing 1000 watts RMS each my box volume after bracing is 7.49 cubes . the psp port calc is giving me 13.68 for a straight length and 14.68 for the flare length not sure which to use wanting tunning to be 33 Hz this will be a daily , not really going for straight spl but want good lows. could some one take a look at this and give me a push in the right direction thanks in advance.

i have a dilema. i have a zx2500.1 now. i am gonna purchase 2 15.2 orion hcca's next week. but since some faggy ass mofos done stripped my other car i think i wanna put more money into this setup. i have a 6cub ft box @ 35hz for these subs. i am contemplating buying another zx2500.1 to run one amp per sub. i am prepared and fully aware of the elec upgrades need to be successful. so with all this being said what would be a realistic difference in the 2 setups. 2 hcca's wit 1 amp or 2 hcca's wit 2 amps. obviously this is a problem cause i need to buy the subs according to the ohm load they will be run at. my goal is to have loud and deep clear bass. i want some movement(fl…

i want to buy a 12 inch ssa dcon and run it off an re/us amps dts 800.1 mono block which runs 400watts at 1ohm and 280 at 2 ohms. can the dcon be wired down to 1ohm stable or should i keep it at 2 ohms and run the 280rms to it? Thanks

I don't really have to much time to build another box right now so I have two options. 1.95 cubic feet after displacement tuned to 30hz or 1.88 cubic feet after displacement tuned to 32hz. Single 12 with an alpine mrp650 on it.

Well, I received my new 12" Mag D2 and this thing is amazing, I'm powering it at a 4 ohm setup running around 700watts (visonik 900xD). I'm curious to see what it'll do with the full 1400 or so watts. Its mounted in a box I picked up from Mark, I believe its 2.8 cu. ft. ported at 28Hz. It is very very accurate and doesnt back down to anything, I'm impressed. All I want to do now is cruise around and listen to some good tunes. I was at a car comp at Michigan Tech today, took 1st place in Street B with a 143.6 on the TL playing Outkast - Speakerboxx. I also took first in amateur SQ.

Ok WoW This thing is absolutly amazing, i have it hooked up to a 504 alpine amp and this thing it just a monster after the break in it just got better and better for the first 2 hours of it i thought i had damaged hearing in my right ear, i played Candy Shop... Scared my mom away,.....played puritian....Made my friend believe his ears were bleeding...played Any other song IT just blew away everything else. It isnt even hoooked up to tooo much power and its just blasting away, Most definaltly i will be doing further purchasing of this sub and i will be spreading the word. ok guys, i messed up my recone pretty bad...i used the 10 minute epoxy...and i guess i didn't mix it right bc its just tacky and still not dry. it has been sitting on my counter for well over 5 hours...what should i do?

got a buddy that wants to get a good loud system, looking for a good 18" for loud daily probably in the $500 - $600 range give or take. Vehicle is undetermined for now, most likely an SUV, possibly a small hatchback sports car, either way will slot port and tune around 35Hz. probably get a HO alt, 2 AGM batts, and a BXi2608D as I've learned thats the best cheap way to go. Greetings, i'm looking at purchasing some new mids/high speakers for my car. i was going to go find the AA componets or get the Infinity Kappa coax's. my question is if i get the kappa's will i regret not buying the AA's? i plan to get 2 pairs of 6x9's (threeway), 1 pair of 3.5's. now my next question is would it be recommended to get the kappas as well as the componets? like maybe get a set of componets for the doors? also are the kicker KS's better quality then the kappa's?

how much battery do i need for a 1500w rms amp? what about if i bridged two amps so 3000w rms? will one kinetic hc2400 cut it?

Ok well right now i have 1 12" mag running of 1200watts I will have another sometime soon i hope, just bough it Now i won't bebable to buy my new amp for about 2+ weeks after I get the mag and they will be wired diffrently i beleive also so... Shouls i just push my nINE.1 to the max and wire it for .5ohms and run both my mags off of it or just keep the one, im woundering if my 1 mag with 1200w sealed will compare to 2 mags running off a little over 600.. the 2 will be sealed 1.7 Cubs each sub probably -Thanks-

I just got a 05 RE XXX off someone local and i took a DMM to it and got a weird reading. When wired together it reads 1.5 ohms but seperate one reads 2.0 ohms and the other is sitting @ 4.0 ohms. Would it be bad to run it at the 1.5 ohms? And how does something like that happen?

My sub choices consist of the following: FI SSD, Ascendant Arsenal, Treo TE or SSi, Incrminator Li. all are 10" Would like to know how each of these subs rate musically wise that can still get fairly loud when needed. Would like to use a small sealed box.

Hey SSA I have a Memphis Audio 4k that i would like to use in my next setup. I have a ford taurus and i have about 6 cubes to play with here. i am looking for some subwoofers that would get me a loud daily set up . Im just looking for some other options the one of the options i have is 2 10' solo x's at 4k rms. but i was looking for something besides 10's. any help is appreciated. thanks.
