Does anyone know where the t/s parameters to the 18's of either the 9500 or the hdc3 can be found? I am trying to get a box designed but the companies don't have them posted that I can see.

Not my thing, but my sister wants some output. Looking for a sub for her boat. Nothing magical to blend with, just a set of tbd comps and an amplifier. Have 350w @ 4ohms (or 175x2 @ 2ohms) on tap and up to a few cuft to put it in. Would prefer loud for playing hip-hop, but at least mildly musical as I won't build a box for a fart cannon as it would piss me off too much. This one will be ported. Budget, less is more but $200 tops. New, used, a pair, or unusual is all fine with me I'd love a Maw, but the coils don't work for the power we have Same problem with the SD's. At the moment, I am leaning towards a 12" JBL GTO for $50 but would love to kick it up a notch …

Ok I am putting the finishing tuches on my rear setup but want some input on a solid midrange. I am looking at getting 4 HiVi F6 single 8ohm midrange speakers from partsexpress and wireing them into a 2ohm load to my amp crossed over at 150hrtz or in that area, also in the rear i'll be running 2 Audax 8" subs for the midbass crossed over at like 80hrtz. just wanted to see what you think about this set up.

I was looking at this set of Hybrids, I had already set my budget at $500 before looking around a lot and I have heard good things about Hybrid Audio so how do you guys think they would do running active with a Sundown 100.4? Also I'm not so sure that the 6.5's will fit without mods to the door so if they don't then how will the 5.25's compare to them?

Im looking at 2 SRX 5 channels rated at 4X75, 1X160 @ 4ohm or 2X150 1X160 @ 4ohm (all my drivers are single 4) and i was planning on keeping my 301x fosgate amp I need to power pair front tweets, pair front midrange, pair front midbass, pair rear passive componants and center channel (9 channels) Ive sorta boiled it down to either All Audison active = 2X150 front midrange, 4x75 rear and front tweet, 2x160 midbass and center channel off the fosgate Fosgate/audison active 2X150 front midrange, 2 X150 rear, 2X160 midbass and center…

Hey guys whats up. I'm selling the Exploder and getting an Accord coupe. I want to do an IB setup...I'm moving away from the SPL deal. I am starting to crave more SQ. Possible drivers I was thinking about were: 1. single ED 19Ov.2 (already have) 2. two Exodus Audio TempestX 3. four ED 13Kv.2 (on sale right now) Not really sure about what else. I really want to do two 15 inch subs...I'm thinking it should get pretty low and have decent SPL. Also need some advice about midbass...I was thinking about making some 8" kickpods lol.

i am in the market to buy a whole new setup for my car. i have no knowledge of any good component systems and i really need to be pointed in the right direction. my car takes 5x7's in the front and 6x9's in the back. in the rear i will be using 6x9's but in the front i want to run something other then a 5x7. maybe a mid driver. i want to stay with a component in the front but can u match components with mids? or r they the same. i have been looking at boston acoustic for the speakers and maybe a sundown 100.4 to power them. maybe an mtx amp. i am willing to spend around 800 for the entire setup. any suggestions on other manufacturers?

Planning on pairing one or the other with the L1 and taking advantage of the group buy. My question becomes which is going to be better for my application? I'm quite sure that I can fit the L3 in the A-pillar, not so sure about the L4. The tweet will likely be an A-pillar install either way. The L3 would be a pretty simple install the L4 not so much. I'm not sure that I need the extra top end of the L4 since it will be paired with a tweet. Through the midrange freqs (say 250hz-10k) is the L4 worth the extra money and install hassle? I should be able to get the L3 much more on-axis if that matters. Thanks for any inputs.

Anyone have experience with the new Tang Band Neo 6x9 subs? My new truck will have 6x9 cutouts in the front doors and I'm looking at these for dedicated midbasses in a 3-way front setup matched up with Hybrid 4s and tweets. Power for all coming from a trio of Sundown 100.2s and filtering from a Altomobile Drive 30. I really want to do the Hybrid 8s in the doors but it doesn't look like that will possible without some heavy cutting on the door and door panel which I'm not willing to do this time around. If there are any other ideas, I'm open to those as well. 6x9 cutouts stock. Apparently about 3.5" of depth to work with, though in all honesty the guys on the Fronti…

  25. Hey just want some guidance and suggestions. I have type-r's which I'm really starting to get sick of. The 6.5 is in stock location and tweeter is flush mounted in the door. All I really want to do is replace it, and not change the locations. I want component set with a passive crossover which has good sound quality. My price range is around $400. But give me some suggestions in the 300-200 price range as well. I know anything will sound better then these Alpines. I need the new tweeter to fit into the hole which is there for the type-r tweeter. The dimensions of the type-r are Tweeter Mounting Diameter (in): 2'' Tweeter Mounting Diameter (mm): 51mm Tweeter cannot be s…
