Now that my Altima is almost done just gotta build my enclosure and waiting for my Viper 1200.1. I just got my HU for the 240 the 8443. I am looking for a new sub for my 240. I have been battling for a while on what to get. I am looking for the LSQ. I've been waiting patiently to decide. I did have the RE HC first thought it was too large for my car so I got the SE decided that was too small so I was going back to the HC. But the whole time I have been intrigued by the Orion H2. So I wanted to get your feedback. The dimensions for my 240 is W23 H16 D17. The enclosure again will be a circle port due to the small space involved. The power to the subs either one …

i want to get orion h2's, but i dont know what size/what amps/how many/etc.? i was talkin to denim about it and he said to talk to hccafan about it cause he knows alot about orion. i was thinkin either 3 12's or 2 15's but i dont need to give each sub 2000 watts rms, i was thinkin maybe 1000 each on the 3 12's or 1500-2000 on the 2 15's. thanks.

hello everyone. today, i have been beating up my sub pretty hard.when i finally got home, i felt the basket of the sub and it was pretty warm. is this a sign that somethings wrong? the only part i felt was where the outside mounting holes are. i wasnt sure if this was a early warning of something going wrong so i thought id throw up a post and ask. here is the specs of the set-up for those wondering if it may have to do with my amp or something.... 1 12" orion hcca in a 2.0CF ported box tuned @ 35Hz 1 MTX 1501D elite series amp all 4 gauge wiring. let me know what u all had in mind!! Thanks

hello to all. as some of u know, i was on here about 4 months ago looking for opinions on a sub. well i went with a 2011 kicker l7 15 in a 5cf ported box and i must say it was LOUDDDD. but then the SQ started getting to me. so i found a orion hcca 12.2 on my local craigslist for 375 or possible trades. i messaged him and long story short, we did a straight trade. my kicker zx1500.1 amp will not run at 1 ohm so im running the sub at 4ohms and the sub is laughing at the zx's 750watts at 4 ohms. so i need a amp thats stable at 1 ohms, atleast 1200watts (no more than 2000. stock electric here fellas) and no more than $375. fire away!!

How will an HCCA sound in a sealed box, stuffed liberally? looking for a 30hz peak in a trunk car. SQ is priority, but with the ability to take your breath away. Three 12's, and three RF 4000BD's. electrically yada yada...... this is speculative, sifting through, as usual.

In the middle of building my system........ I have the pioneer avic-z130bt with Infinity Kappas for the dash and 4 Doors , I have the Kappa 4 Channel amp for the door speakers.. I also ordered Raam Audio; RAM matt and Ensolite to sound proof but cant make my mind up on which subs to get.. Im leaning more towards the Orion from what i have been reading as its more comparable to the JL W6... But would like some insight on what some people think on here The Orion is 500 RMS and the JL Is 300 RMS

I know this thread is a teaser because we don't have the pictures uploaded yet, but as of last night we finished up our latest HT. The system includes a Denon 7.1 receiver, Denon up-converting DVD player, Panasonic 1080p HD projector, HDMI cabling, 20 Hidden Audio transducers, 124" 16:9 screen, Lutron automated lighting, MX900 remote, 2400 watt amplifier, and four BM 12's ported to 30 Hz in a 12 ft^3 box. The neat thing about using Denon receivers is that the upper models (this customer has a 987 model) have a 7 band EQ per channel, where each channel can be EQ'd independantly or the same EQ setting applied to all channels. The receiver is also super user-friendly and v…

Currently own a Fi SSD 18" subwoofer, however I might be selling it. I'm wanting to upgrade to something with a little more SPL. Another 18" woofer since I already have a box that would be within specs for all 18"s I've looked at. I'll have about $350 to spend on a new one it if I do indeed get rid of the SSD. That's without shipping, I'll cover shipping to no matter. So after looking it seems my choices in my price range are: Fi BL 18" ($391.12 with shipping) SSA ICON 18" ($371 with shipping, free shipping through SSA) Sundown X-18" ($350 with shipping, though on pre order for now and would be a long wait, free shipping) Ascendant Audio Chaos 18" ($371.77 with ship…

I'm looking at running these 6.5's with tweet flush mounted in door --> http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...Product_ID=4596 with these 2" midranges flush mounted in the doors --> http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...Product_ID=5352 these 1" tweets in the dash --> http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...Product_ID=3089 and these 6x9 comps for rear fill --> http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...Product_ID=3078 This will all be run with 2 100.4's I've never run CDT before but I've heard good things about em and they're relatively inexpensive. Does this seem like overkill or could it lead to some pretty decent mids and highs?

??? what do yall think of oversized dust caps, i would think it would affect the performance of the sub, and effect the Sd as well, as the bottom of the sub is cone shaped and the surface would be drastically different ??? as well as oversized inverted dust caps please feel to post your thoughts ;D i have photoshoped out the Logo for obvious reasons
