Im looking for a good 6.5 component set that is under $300 dollars and has good midbass. dont have an amp now i will get one that will match up good with the components.

I've been looking for a good setup, but very confused about what I'm looking for. After reading a lot of forums I found that a lot of people are suggesting the tangbands and fountek's. I looked at some website and found these speakers. Wanted to know if this would be a good setup or not.... Tang Band W6-1721 Tang Band W5-704D Tang Band 25-1166SJ Each door will have 1 W6-1721, 2 W5-704D, and 1 25-1166SJ. Any feedback would be great.

i need 2 recone kits and was wanting dvc with a dsr of 0.7 each coil any suggestions baskets are Re 15" Sx

I have a 07 GMC sierra crew cab so air space is limited. I think I may be able to fit 3 10s or atleast 2 not so deep 12s I love hard hitting bass and a good ass rumble. I listen to alot of fast rock and r&b I was thinking about going with Fi subs But what kind of amp should I get? Something that will run 1ohm stable? Id like to throw about 1,500+ watts to the subs

Just curious, seems like most of you guys own mag series subs. are there many others of you out there that own the BM series? i was wondering what kind of SPL others get and in what kind of enclosure for one 12, two? i have one twelve in a slotted box with 2 sq ft. but i never clocked it yet. (hardly any competitions in hawaii)

My question is can i use 14g wire to make My subs 2ohm?Then run 12g wire from the Sub to the amp?

I'm considering getting a fosgate t800.4 or a t1000.4 for my components but the thing is..I really don't know of any components that will be able to handle that kind of power. I will have two sets in each door. And I wasn't to keep the price under $350 per set

Having never heard an Icon 10" in a sealed box I was wondering if it would be worth the money to upgrade the JL 10w3v3 that is currently in my JL stealth box? Box volume is .625 and is located under the center console in a 2006 toyota tundra double cab. I currently have a 500 watt RF powering it but I would upgrade the amp too if I did the switch. Basically I'm wondering if it would be significantly louder. I understand that a small sealed box isn't ideal for "loud" but it was nice keeping my back seat. Any opinions would be appreciated.

What was the suggested volume for the Claw Mag in a sealed box. I think it was 0.5 - 1.5, what do you guys suggest? Also what is the mounting depth for the claw mag? Thanks!

whats the scope on these subs? i hear that they sound like farts NO SQ what SOO ever. but i have SX15 and i was thinking of getting 2 L7 10's. but i also looking into 15's could someone tell me whats up with them?

So finally I paid of Rusty and got my subs shipped out to me on tuesday. And the very unhappy FedEx driver showed up to my house on Thursday. Big hats of to Rusty. I know most of you guys probably don't use Kicker, but I found an awesome deal from an awesome local seller for a pair of the Kicker RS 6.5 inch components and a Kicker ZX350.2 amp. No stores sell the higher models of Kicker gear so I was wondering how you think these components would be?

I've learned the advantage of kicks are the ability to even the amount of space between your ears and the speaker, help with midbass response from being sealed, and help with aiming and imaging. But i've heard that most speakers were made for IB use and some companys like rainbow don't reccommend sealed enclosures. And could a headunit with time alignment solve the problem of the driver distance? The reason i ask is because i want to put some woofers into my door to cover from 80hz~800hz and want to know would it be a GREAT advantage to put them in kicks if i got a pair with good off axis response, and had time alignment. Would i still get a lot more midbass from a sealed…

Im trying to decide which 12" sub i want in my car (its a 75 Chevy Nova hatchback). I listen to almost nothing but rap and i want to be very loud with one 12. Amp is a sae-1200dv1,im going to do the big 3 in 1/0 gauge,and i replaced my alternator when i rebuilt my engine but i have no idea how many amps it is. My budget is $350 so ive been looking at the Mach 5 spl,fi bl,and aq hdc3 copper...open to suggestions,i will make the optimum enclosure for whichever 12 i get. Im leaning toward the mach 5 or aq for when i want to upgrade my power instead of having to add another sub and amp.

I've gone to a bunch of other design programmes but they seem to require metric conversions to be made or info I don't see on the specs for the sub. The measurements I've come up with are the following: Using 3/4 MDF, 24X15X15X15, Port 1.5x13.5, with this I come up with a tuned freq of 28.62 which is right around the specs of the MAW-12. alright, just got a new car (96 accord LX coupe), and I am putting most of what I already got as far as equipment goes into it, but need a new sub. right now I have my DEH-P600UB in my rocky with the rear channels of my 475a powering a really cheap audiobahn (AW1051 I think) that I found from a long time ago in a sealed box thats around 2 ft^3. its wired to 8 ohms so there is only about 90 watts going to the sub now, and its not crazy or anything but it is (was) a decent amount of bass for what it was. anyways I started hearing it make a horrible sound at higher volumes, the surround is actually torn about 1/5 the way around now. What is there to expect? Will it be the same as a mag, only fitting the lower price bracket? I decided i wont at my age, income status, and everything going on to afford 2 15mags even 1 for that matter... I need suggestions as to what to do. I wish i could do 20.1 and two 15"s but HA! hi, i was looking at new componots and i was looking on ebay and i can get a set of diamond audio hex s600 for 200 bucks and i am wondering if anyone has anything bad to say about them. i know people are going to say go and listen to them but no one sells diamond local where i live. so i hear they sound good but that is all i hear about them.

which sub can get loud with maintaining good sq and which is just overall better. ill be gettin 2 12's they'd be goin in a 4 cube box tunned to 32hz. either would be runnin on a aq2200d amp. so any input?

I picked up a Old School Memphis 1500 today and was wondering what should i pair it with. I mostly want SQ but also want my sub to be LOUD. I listen to all types of music, mostly rap but also R&B, rock, and death metal. I was thinking of going with these subs: 1 Memphis Mojo 15, 1 AA Havoc 15, or 1 Orion HCCA 12.

anybody know of any good component sets for around 100$,size 6.5 with 1 inch tweeters.i been lookink at kiker ks but there around 150$.
