i belive this is the first day ive even been in the SI forums where there wasnt any new post or tpoics hehe.

When will u be postin that u can buy the subs today, since u said the sale starts on monday when does it start today?? and do i order it online or do i have to call the number provided?

I am in Canada, and I'm just looking for a few options, and shipping and stuff will cut into my budget. I was going to go with two Mach 5 IXL-12.2.2s and an Orion 2500D. The subs are only Dual 2. However, Mach 5 is Canadian and the Orion is also in Canada. I'm looking for some alternatives. Whatever combos you guys can come up with, for around 800 bucks for the sub(s) and amp(s) and shipping to Canada....

I have a pair of PPI Pro 124's that I am going to be running off a MB Quart DSC 1500.1. The thing I want to know is if anyone has experience with these subs, especially using a ported enclosure. I have heard that they can only be ran sealed so that is why I want to know if anyone ever did port them and how did they sound? Any input would be appreciated.

im getting ready to slowly upgrade to a 3-way diy setup. i got midbass and tweets and i wanna make midbass in 2-way setup just the lows like 80-500 and then get a very nice midrange . partly becuase i wnana amke my kickpannels smaller and get a driver with nice off axis responce. my limit is around 50 per speaker and i want 4-5.5 inch through other forums ive limited down to these 2 but they arent helping me much decide which of these 2 i should get. does anyone know where i can get drawings with dimensions of custom boxes for 2 15" nightshades?

Right now my box is set up with sub and port firing to the rear. I am considering cutting a hole in the top for the sub and plugging the rear hole to see what it does to the sound while keeping same box size and tuning. Due to box dimensions, the only way to do it would put the sub right at the port opening in the box. It's a typical slot port so it won't be blocking the port. I remember reading somewhere that it's not ideal to have the sub close to the port if you can help it. How big of a deal is it and how much would it affect what I am trying to do? Depending on what the sound difference is will be deciding on how I build my next box.

i just got my friend sold on buying a magnum. i was wondering that would hit lower and sound better, a ported 12 incher d2 or sealed 15 inch d2. he wasnts awesome sound quality and wants t hit low well. and hit. the 12 would be ported tuned fairly low, like 20-30 herts i assum

I just noticed the new Pioneer Stage 4 line on the Crutchfield website and they are very expensive for anything pioneer that i have seen. I have a Pioneer Premier headunit (cant remember exact model) and i love it, it has all the features i could ask for so that is so different about this new HU and the new speakers? According to pioneers website they are an audiophile grade set. does anyone have any experience with them and know if they are worth the money?

I want 4 sundown sa-12 but i want to eventually run 2 on one aq2200 and 2 on another aq2200 at 1Ohm each. Do i need 4 2Ohm DVC subs or 4 4Ohm DVC subs? Also is there any way i can run all 4 off of one aq2200d at 1Ohm until i get another one?

I just got my SI mag D2 15" from wedge, and boy it looks so hot. i cant wait to install it, (just gotta sell my old stuff to get a new HU) it is a badass looking sub (much better looking than my SX) love the basket, i dont think pictures do it justice. how much dose this thing weight? i would like to thank everyone that listend to me ask all sorts of questions about it (ibander lol)

I have 2 kmg-15D's. They are dual 4 ohm, 15" subs. I don't have any specs for these subs. If anyone has any T/S numbers for these subs, I would greatly appreciate the info!!! I need enclosure info for these speakers mainly. These subs were built somewhere between late 1998 and 2000. I need sealed and vented enclosure measurements for enclosure size, for sealed, and enclosure size, and port area/tuning for vented. Please!!! If anyone knows anything, let me know!! Ok, so I am finally ready to order my midbass and my tweeters. They will be powered by either a JBL 75.4 (100X4) or a Sundown Audio 100.4 (100X4), and run active by an Alpine 9815. I have narrowed it down to five choices I just need to make sure they will mesh well together and I am open to any other options in my price range. Option 1: Alpine Type X (ditch the Xover) Option 2: Pioneer TS-720PRS (ditch the Xover) Option 3: Seas 27TFFNC and a Seas CA18RNX Option 4: Peerless exclusives With the Seas 27TFFNC Option 5: Mach5 MLI-65 with an undetermined tweeter. My budget is $300 for mids and tweets. the lower the better but I will spend $300 max, not including shipping.

Just curious does anyone have ant info. on the new lvl4 xl. Already a proud owner of 2 lvl4 d1's, an awesome set of subs. How could Rusty do any better? Beside those amazing lvl5's.

ok whell first of all i got a 2003 honda accord and i cannot decide wat kind of sub i want or amp . yea big problem but yea i just want one sub and it has to be a 12' but allso be able to pick up the low notes real real good. originally i was going to go with a Fi Btl and i 2600 hifonics amp but i started looking at other subs/amps but yea i just wanted to kno what other people would suggest to get ? and i rarely use the trunk so i dont care how much space is used, allso i want atleast 2000 watts.... so pls help me out and give me you're ideas, and thank you

i have 2 15" Sundown sa-15's in a 7 cuft box in a 1998 gmc jimmy. i'm running a hifonics hifi1500.1 amp. I've seen people with the same subs, same brand amp(but smaller) in very similar vehicles do much better hair tricks than i can achieve. Any suggestions on how to increase mine? I love to show off my subs and this is a fun way to do so!

I have an current gen mag right now. I am curious to know if i give the sub less power can my enclosure size come down a few .xx cu ft? if i am being to vague please let me know.

What do you guys recommend. Box is 2.2 cu.ft. tuned to 32hz. Budget max is $320 for both. Want some 10's that get real low and have lot of output.

Does this seem like overkill or could it lead to some pretty decent mids and highs?

So I have a JL Audio 10W3v3-2 and it was making a weird scratching noise. Completely random, would happen at any volume and would come and go with no real reason, sometimes it wouldn't do it for days, sometimes it would happen many times a day. I took it out of the box looking for some explanation and could see nothing, so it cut it open. The only thing that looked a little off was what looked like some corrosion on the coil itself. So now I have the motor and basket just laying around and it seems a shame to just toss it. Does anyone make a recone other than JL that will work??

i work with a guy that has of the kicker 15in.cmp subs that are sinle voice coil.and has them in a pro box. lookingfora decent amp to run these on?any of u guys give me a idea i can shoot him.sorry i dont have moe info on these subs!!

am i gonna have any issues with that much power? will be running each ma @ 2 ohm, 1 per mt. im thinkin about a 5th mt and 5th ma hk4000d too.
