you guys may disagree with the drivers i chose, but this is what im going with. im selling the boston pro60s, and my jbl 6x9s in the rear, so ill only be adding maybe 70 bux to switch out to this setup, which is now going to be active as well. Front Stage: 2x B&C 6PEV13's Rear Stage: 2x Selenium 6W4P's (OR 2x Selenium 8PW3-SLF's) not sure yet, if the 8s will fit, i might run those. if not, ill do the 6.5s amp for the front and rear Mids: RF Punch P550.2 (ch1 will be the front and rear Left mids, and channel 2 will be front and rear right mids) same with the tweets, except a RF Punch P200.2 amps are like 240 shipped on ebay new for both, not bad. i need tweets though.…

Okay so, On Saturday or Tomorrow Rather I am purchasing a Driver. Now Which One I get is up in the air. I have narrowed it down to Four different Drivers. Here they are. Eclipse SW7200 Rockford Fosgate P312D2 Mach5 Maw-15 AA Arsenal Series 12"D4 All of these are around the some Rms output, 500. I am getting two of whatever I choose, but since I burn my money quick I am getting one now and one next week. That will also give me the time to get a Hands on look on what kind of room Im going to need. So.... It's down to those Four. The Final Four Contestants. Who Will Fall, Who Will Survive, Who.... im really impressed by how well everything showed up at my house. Ive bought from Fi and from Massive Audio and their packages arrived in a pretty battered condition. the boxes for my MJ's looked new. and with the triple box package the sub and paperwork looked like it hadnt moved since the box was taped up. thanks for the great service mark

i have a 2000 explorer. my box takes up the entire cargo area. i need to put 2 batteries somewhere in the car..any suggestions. theyre too tall to put under the back seats and too wide to put next to the box. im out of ideas here.....? (posting for magnolia guy)

What is the diameter of the magnet/motor structure for this sub?

i have one type r running at 2 ohms at 500 rms....its in a ported box with the sub facing the inside of the car with the seats down....can anyone give me any suggestions to make it louder or just anything to make it better

How much volume is occupied by the mj-18 driver? Are the recommended box volumes the internal volume of the box, or is it the internal volume minus the drivers volume? Thanks

I was curious of any of your experiences with 6.5" subs. I saw this thread on DIYMA as sometimes they get too technical for me. I was wanting to put two 6.5" subs in my truck, but I am curious how well they will balance with the rest of my system. I currently have 8" Rainbow X-plain midbass and Cal27 tweeter. I can fit 8,10,12,15,18...but if I can do more with less, I think that will be great.

I want to try something new and I have been looking at this sub for a while now. I know that higher end lanzar products are pretty good, but I have never heard these before. Can someone help me?

What should I do go ported or sealed? Also my rockford amp says 1017 RMS @ 1 ohm. how do u set the ohm. im a total newbe sorry. and my subs only 500W RMS

CV stroker and stroker pro what does it compair to and how do they do in the lanes?

My 4x 12" baby Magnums are on their way... Not sure how I `m going to install them in the Vectra. I`m not bothered about Peak SPL and prefer to have a system that plays low frequencies very loud. I`m aiming for over 140dB @ 20Hz in a trunk / boot install. Should easily do it with an I.S.O. set up. Using 2x MMATTS amps. Each pair of subs will be getting about 1400wrms. (2800wrms) Photo`s when I get started. Got to finish the Escort 1st. Just like to thank "Sundown Audio" for all their help as well

I'll try to keep this short as possible. The other day I was browsing through the classsifieds over at ca.com. I stumbled upon an MX 12. So I said to myself that id like to try an MX, I heard great things about them, also they look sexy for my inverted install. So I offered to trade my 12" mag(current gen) for it. He said cool. i traded. I have had the mx now for about 3 weeks. I must say Im dissappointed The sound was kinda up there with the mag but it didnt have that certain "crisp" edge of sq that I liked in the mag. I could deal with that fine. But the absolute sh!ttiest part is. The DAM Mechanical Noise the MX puts out. Its ridiculous to hear that much noise coming …

I went to marks house (mach 5 audio ) 3 days ago and picked up 4 mj 18's So i had to take out the old BTL left my van empty and lacking bass...untill...20 cubes and 30 hz later yes, thats my wire running above the carpet....no i wasnt too lazy to run it under the carpet i just have this place mat carpet the previous owner used in the back of the van so i just put it over the wires, you cant see them and the carpet doesnt move unless i move it. its not a ton louder then my single 15 BTL, but these are tuned to 30hz and i think they might move a bit more air yea the box is fugly but what box isnt after havin 4 big black monsters pounding away in it.

Anybody have an idea how the 12" icon will sound for rock in and enclosure tuned this high or have any suggestions for an enclosure/tunning made for rock/metal. I read this woofer gets real low but was wondering if i could build another enclosure to swap out just for rock and metal.

For purely academic purposes, imagine a ported enclosure tuned with 2 aeroports. If the aeroports were different lengths...and therefore different tunings, what would the net result to the listener be? Would the box only keep one tuning?...would the tuning freq be "spread out"?...would space/time warp and fold back on itself thereby negating this whole exercise? Thanks

Tuned to 27Hz & can be tuned lower too. (Adjustable port blockers) 4x Stereo Integrity MAG 15" Subwoofers 1x Adassa Audio BARBARIAN amplifier Looks as though everything is going to fit nicely. Check out the Spkr cable to the Right hand side of the Plywood Amp L.O.L It`s 4awg - just because it was a nice shade of purple. (I have a thing for PURPLE) All the Spkr cables in the box are 8awg & are connected to the 4awg. I struggled today - trying to get the subs in with…

New BM's are in the making so we need to clear out some of the current 12's we have left. For a limited time only (the end date will be announced soon) we are clearing the BM 12's out for $170 shipped each. We are taking orders through us and also through Sundown Audio. ok im getting bored so i decide to look into getting a sub to play with i have a RF punch P3 right now its ok just wanna be able to say i have had experience with different woofers and right now that is the MAW-15 has anyone had any experience with this sub how is its performance and power handling

Well Im going to be competing in the stock 601-1800 again next season.. (Competitions are done here till next year) First off the power amount im going to be using not sure.. Im going to try and get much as i can in that class with out linking amps, don't wanna mess with it. So should i go 2 12" subwoofers or one 18" subwoofer with the same amount of power? I was thinking maybe run two 12" btls or two 12" fi bls? Ive also been told try 4 l5's that will get me louder and cost the same as getting 2 btls I have around 5.8 cuft gross to work with. I am having a problem finding the right amp for my 1 image dynamic 15 idq dual 2ohm subwoofer. I want about 600 watts rms at 4ohms mono. I looking at a us amp ax600, and a kicker sx600.2 right now. I also like orion and mtx as well but not sure which amp to go with. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
