i need some tweeters for my explorer. as u know, not going for SQ, but i aint spending more than 20 a tweet either. what are some good tweets? anyone know what Tommy Mckinney runs in his 2 front doors (has 8 in each door) ?

Well I purchased 2 15" ssa Icons from mark Drove all the way out from cali to arizona to pick them up... Put them in a crappy premade enclosure.. They have like 1.8 cft each if that.... more like 1.5... And lets just say they are amazing.... I can't wait to get them in a ported enclosure... They are in a 2003 pontiac vibe.. I broke my front winshield a piech of glass broke off and was stuck to my rear view mirror so theres a chunk of glass missing now were my rear view mirror is supposed to be... Anyways I'm going to be trading my car for a 64 Impala SS.. I will be most likely purchasing 2 more 15's and taking the back seats out of the impala the interior is shot anyways…

tell me everything you know about the 2nd gen mag. i just bought one 12" sheerly on all the good things i hear about mags. anyone have one? compare it to other subs, specs, anything/everything. im new to this forum but im decently knowledgeable about car audio. dont be afraid to get technical.

In need of a Single 12" or 15" Dual 2ohm The amp that will be used is the Rockford Fosgate T5001bd (500x1 at 1ohm) but the birthsheet says 1000+ at 1ohm.(don"t remember exact but it over 1000 watt) Going for (LSQ) not sure on price but nothing to crazy Give some ideas please it will be a big help. Im looking for a good 6.5 component set that is under $300 dollars and has good midbass. dont have an amp now i will get one that will match up good with the components.

why are there no more MJ-18's on www.mach5audio.com they have the maw-10's maw-12 maw-15 the IXL and the MLI-65 but no mj's? no pics no nothing? did mark stop making them? what's up?

im looking for a new sub, and just found out about stereo integrity subs. they seem great and i would probably try one out if it can be put into my subbox. the thing is that its just 0.8 cft big. thats without a driver. would it be terrible to put that 12" sub into this box??? btw: its a sealed box, and it would be powered by a phoenix gold ZPA 0.5 (about 1000+ watts)

(measurements inside box) Option A Height:15.5 Width:32.5 Depth(top):16.5 Depth(bottom):26.5 total cu ft:6.26 Option B Height:15.5 Width:32.5 Depth(top):17 Depth(bottom):27 total cu ft:6.41 how many cu ft will i need for bracing? opinions on which box i should use?

Yep, they're getting bigger. Keep in mind this is a prototype picture and the driver is subject to change still. We might keep the basket, and we are keeping and the motor at this point, but a few other cosmetic things are going to change. ...and I would post it but I can't attatch it, the image must be already hosted. well after a 3 year hiatus of not having a SI Mag i'm back. i had an original claw basket 12. i just acquired a 15" new gen Mag and its going in a roadmaster wagon (huge space). and will power it with the mono side of a memphis big belle (1100w RMS) *****EDIT***** i wanted some expert opinion on the box plans i came up with....4.0 ft^3 @ 30hz total internal vol - 5.66 ft^3 (46.5"w x 12"h x 17.53"d) port area - 54 in^2 (18" x 3") port length - 37.31 in driver vol - .2 ft^3 .....what i don't know how to do is figure the port wall lengths. the sub will be firing up with the port up too. any help or advice is greatly appreciated. i'm stoked to be back with SI.

Alright i want a single 12" setup and was wondering which one you guys would prefer. Im more into to SPL so which one would be better for that.

I have been shopping a bunch of different subs to upgrade to. I have locked my budget to 450 MAX. I have been looking at 4 12" type r's. Just recently, I got more interested in 2 15 type r's. Now I am between the 2 15 type r's and an aa havoc 18. I will be running small sealed- 4 cu ft. right now, probably get another cube with a few mods to my box. I have 4 10" mtx thunder 5500 at this time, and I listen to mostly rock/metal, 70's,80's and a lot of Pink Floyd. I want: 1) better low freq extension, 2) keep the tightness that I have right now 3)more spl. I have an saz1500d for power. Any honest opinions/recommendations plz? Ok, since the FI BL pretty much won the comparison against the maw-15's and the Q (Only because of my application) And since Im pretty sure thats what I am getting I have put it up against stiffer Competition. Does anyone have a list of good manufacturers that produce an XBL^2 driver? Specifically looking for Subwoofers, but mids and midbasses interest me too. I've found one manu, but I can't find them again. Their prices were good, but I wonder about quality. Thanks

ive been lookin into buyin sum subs, and ive been lookin at a 15" Fi BL with a kicker zx1500.1 amp (maybe an 18") or i was also lookin at getting 2 12" kicker cvx with the kicker zx1500.1 im lookin to get loud with decent sound quallity which set up is better overall, and which will most likly get louder when put in the correct enclosure thanks

O.k. I got some money coming in soon. And I was wondering, Which would be better. 2 Maw-15's or something from Fi that would be better. So I was either going to get 2 Maw-15's or maybe just one Fi Q 15" or a Fi Bl 15".... Im staying under 300.00 for the sub... Well maybe a little over if I decide to incorporate some of the options with the Fi. If I get the Q or the BL which options should I get for them. Mind you this is just for Daily use. Im planning on putting 4 mj 18's in the back of my dodge caravan, . im not looking for big numbers i just want some kick you the nuts kind of bass... the question is if i fire the subs down with maybe 3-6 inches of clearance from the floor of the van how bad would it be? also if i were to do that any suggestions on what way i should be facing the port? i want to fire them down so they are A) more hidden ( i live in a REALLY bad area) and B) i still need to use the back of the van... any help or input i would be greatful for
