been browsing some more known sites known for their technicality and knowledge instead of CA Forum Flame fests. i need some suggestions on which dedicated 7" midbass drivers work best in IB enclosures when installed in properly deadened doors. im looking to spend up to 250$ for the 2 drivers. and the size cant exceed 7", i plan on high passing the midbasses around 65hz - 70hz with a high 24 db slope. and playing them up to 300hz where my cdt hd 4" will take it from there. Will be feeding up to 125 - 130 watts at 4 ohms from a 100.2 sundown amp. I need some driver suggestions but as of now, i hear the following are some respectable drivers. i have two incrimator warden series subs duel 1.4 ohm coils what amp could i use to power these masive subs to there full potential

Every wiring diagram that I have found does not include dual 1 ohm drivers. I am curoius what the ohm load would be for 3 dual 1 ohm drivers wired in series/parallel. I know it will be somewhere between 1.0 and 0.5 ohms. Thanks

I'm thinking about doing an IB set-up for space reasons. What can I expect sound-wise when compared to sealed and ported enclosures?

Last I had the system installed I was running my 15" Ti in a 4.3^3ft enclosure tuned to ~24Hz with roughly 750w on it. Loved the way it performed but I sold the Viper, partly because I needed money and parly because I plan on keeping the Ti and didnt like not using the amp to its full extent. Im thinkin around 1.2-1.5kW in something around 3^3ft tuned to a fairly low frequency. What do yall think for a daily set-up? I dont have any programs any more, they are all on the desktop which is en-route to Norfolk right now so I can't plot the enclosure size and tuning to see how it would work out. I know Denim has a lot of experience with Ti's, anyone else?

What do you guys think would be a better choice. 1 SSA Icon 10" ported, or, 1 SSA Icon 12" sealed?

I ordered my 2 15" MKIIs yesterday to replace my 2 15" Lethal Injections. They'll be here Wednesday. So excited, the specs on these seem like some of the most well designed subs I've ever seen. The response curve on these in a sealed box is almost completely flat from 20 hz up to 100 hz. I'll post an initial review shortly after I put them in my box.

On 4000-5000wrms all day everyday what sub is best and loudest between a fully loaded BTL, a DC LVL. 5, or a DD 9500

Does anyone know anything about these brands ? FOCAL 690-CV1 6x9's or the Mmats CX 69 ? will they be better than my Memphis Mseries 6x9's

Before i start, go ahead and go to youtube and search for HDC3, there are already some videos of them in action. I thought since nobody had any info on them that i would share what i have been told from the guy himself. If you thought the old HD3s were loud, ...haha get ready. There has been reviews about people doing direct swaps from HD3s to HDC3s and gaining, not loosing, gaining Dbs (not noticeable by ear, but by meter). So, what to expect out of these? As I got my mag from when the new batch just came out and my sub is logoless (No it was not stolen, Nick already knows I have it) what do the new mags with a logo look like? I went to the sticker shop and got a logo made for mine saying SI MAG but I want to see the official thing?

do crossovers make a difference in the frequency a speaker plays? for instance, are there some crossovers them don't let mids play below a certain frequency and don't let tweets go above a certain frequency? its seems like my crystals were like that, like the mids couldn't go below 70hz, even with the HP filter off on the HU and the button on the amp swithched to 'full' . help me :/

Hello everyone, I'm trying to repair my AA Mayhem 12. My leads broke in the middle of the spiders and I'm not sure how to get to them so I can solder them. Does anyone know how to disassemble a Mayhem or got a video on how to do it? Or does anyone know an easy way to get at the leads? Thank you, Brad.

Merry Christmas to me indeed. I got a new Sundown Audio Sax-1200d amplifier, a new Skar Audio VVX-12 Subwoofer, a KnuConceptz 4ga mono amplifier kit, and a custom made 12" Ami-Creations ported subwoofer box for the trunk of my 2005 Honda Civic LX 4 dr. The box is about 1.95 CuFt after sub and port displacement, and the box is tuned to 32 hz. I am planning to run the SA 1200d at 2 ohms to my sub, which should give me right around 750 wRMS. I am extremely excited and am going to perform the install Monday, as i am off work all week for vacation. I have posted some pics below from this morning:

Possible about to purchase a pair in a day or two, curious about what would be a optimal box recommendation and tune for these subs? Just looking for a loud, daily, no comps, just something that sounds good on music. Thanks guys.

I have the Tweets and Mid-Range already. I was planning on using them with the 4x Vifa PLs I already have, but considering the Usher Mid-Bass a bit. I think it might be kinda unique to tell people when they ask that my front stage is all "Usher Audio" and see the puzzled look. I was listening to my stereo on the way home and stopped to get some pizza and waited in the car with the stereo on. I decided to not be a prick and I turned the sub off. I missed the bass so I turned my HPF off at the HU, which I usually have set at 63, and the mids actually do pretty well with the bass. I turned it back on and set it at 50Hz and it wasnt bad but theres so much bass im missing with it on. I am going to continue running the HPF at 63 when I have the sub on, but the times I turn the sub off I would like to disable the HPF to the mids to get some bass back. I was thinking of going to the amp and setting its HPF so that if I turn the HU's HPF off, the amps H…

Hello everybody i am looking for a sub for my brother, we were looking at a single 12 or 15 on 2000 watts tuned to 33hertz. Id like to keep the price of the subs under $500 the subs we are considering are. Ssa xcon sundown z3 Dc xl Re audio xxx Fi sp4 We are wanting it to get loud and sound good while doing it,we planned on adding a battery and a 200 amp alt soon and big 3 for electrical. We are also open to suggestions thanks in advance everybody.

I Just got the ca clue for my dustcaps and now i finally have 2 working XXX 15s. I jacked my friends sealed box he built for his XXX 15 in a trunk and due to size i have it facing up at an angle. It sounds loud as fudge even running at 1kw and actually keeps up to techno as compared to the ported box i had before (made for an MT so the bar wasnt set high) Anyway i sorta have 2 options interms of a box for me. I can either Try a T-line for a single 15 running off 1kw (only issues are size because its a 32" box and the top of my trunk is only 31"... i sorta want to see if a chitload of sanding may work to give me the angle i need and how well it may work for the XXX because…

So I noticed that my right front stage seemed to be lacking lately. did a close examination... switched the left and right outputs on the amp to see if it might be the amp... but to no avail. the mid works o.k. about 1/2 output I'd say... but the tweet is really seems lacking... did my X-over take a dump? the little light/fuse seems in tack. heat mang. thing... IDK...

I am in Canada, and I'm just looking for a few options, and shipping and stuff will cut into my budget. I was going to go with two Mach 5 IXL-12.2.2s and an Orion 2500D. The subs are only Dual 2. However, Mach 5 is Canadian and the Orion is also in Canada. I'm looking for some alternatives. Whatever combos you guys can come up with, for around 800 bucks for the sub(s) and amp(s) and shipping to Canada....
