I have a skar 1500.1 and im going to buy two 12s, I just cant make up my mind. Everything ive read says the sa's works wonderful and they would match with the amp I have. The xfls take a lot of power but some people have ran them with lower power and have had success. I m just stuck. these will be the last subs I can get for quite a while so I want to make the right choice and unless my amp takes a dump I wont be replacing that either. In the search's ive done most people say xfl over sa's but most people also feed them more power. Advice appreciated.

I have a 07 GMC sierra crew cab so air space is limited. I think I may be able to fit 3 10s or atleast 2 not so deep 12s I love hard hitting bass and a good ass rumble. I listen to alot of fast rock and r&b I was thinking about going with Fi subs But what kind of amp should I get? Something that will run 1ohm stable? Id like to throw about 1,500+ watts to the subs

Has anyone heard them? If so how do they sound and what size enclosure were they in. How much power was running to them? I am wanting to see if I can run a pair in a 12 net cube box with an AQ 2200 on each. Also if anyone has any vids please post them I really want to see what they can do.

Alright, I have narrowed down my decision to three choices and I need help deciding which one to go with. The three possible choices i have come up with are, 2x 12" DC Level 3s 1x 15" DC Level 4 or 1x Fi Bl I will be using a Audioque 1200d for my amp with a stock alt and a extra battery in back. The boxes will all be tuned in between 32-34 hz built to specs given by the manufactures. I have heard great things about all these subs and I am stuck on which to choose. I am mainly looking for a loud but still clean sounding set up to play mainly rap/hip-hop music. I would like to hear any reasons you may have for which set up to choose. Thanks.

Just got my new DC subs in this morning, 4 LVL 4 12" D2, going to be running off a Rockford T4000 stepping down in size from my Wall of RF subs, to the 4 12s, box is going to be ~7-8cubes @33-34hz, 2 6" aeros, in a 2004 Explorer Equipment: Kenwood DDX812 Rockford 3Sixty.2 RF T6004 RF T4002 RF T40001bd 4x DC Audio LVL 4 12s Hertz MLK2 running Active wanted to mess with 12s this time, been probably 4 years since ive used 12s in my vehicle...pics build log for old wall and new build over at Caraudio.com, starting a new build log here also thanks guys

I have a 2006 KIA SPECTRA SX sedan. I have HAT Unity U-61 powered by an Arc Audio KS 300.2 amp I have a TREO RSX 1600 amp who is subless. TREO RSX 1600 312 x 1 @ 2 ohm 600 x 1 @ 1 ohm I am looking for a subwoofer that can handle Jazz music? I am not sure which subwoofer to go with that amp. I am not sure if I should do Fi Audio, Incriminator Audio SSA, Boston Acoustics, Image Dynamics or Arc Audio. I am looking for something for under $200 because of financial reasons. I am not sure if I woudl do sealed or ported plus I am not sure if I should go 10 or 12. Thank you.

So there's way too many new products coming out and I don't know what I want to try. I want a good clean sounding system, but I'm a bit of a bass head and do like to crank the bass. I have a Q12 sealed in my other car and like the sound and how low it goes, but I want to look at other things. I drive a Magnum and could get two 15's or something big no problem, but other than lots of bass my goal is to stay low profile so I still have cargo room AND i'd like to keep the spare. So I'm thinking either in floor low profile or something that only comes slightly out of the floor. what do you think of this as a midbass silver flute very flat from 50-500hz incredible senstivity and i cant complain about the price.

what can i fudgein do to get the screws that hold the basket to the motor loose? i cant get them to budge btw its a FI BL

I have a set of Kenwood KFC-P709PS connected to a Kicker 350.2KX *i think it is*. So about 3 weeks ago I moved the amp so I can put the back seat down. Then today, I put hooked the RCA cable back to it, and Im getting bass and whatnot but no vocals at all. I changed RCA cable. Did nothing. I changed the speaker wire. Did nothing. Tried just the speaker without the tweeter. Still nothing. Checked power and ground connections. Nothing. I factory reset my headunit which is a KVT-516, and that didnt work. Im lost here. I checked all the connections on the back of the head unit and all that. Everything is good. I wanna say my amp is buggered but its pounding my speakers like n…

I've been searching for amps to power 2 Mags and a set of Viper 650.2 components. I was looking aat MTX but I want more power on the Mags. I want the amps to match if possible but they don't have to. I only want to run two amps and my budget is $750. Oh yeah the Mags will be ported tuned to 30hz. Thanks.

how do you know if the voice coil on a sub is burnt?

My girlfriend has a 2010 Elantra and wants a single 12 and has a Kicker ZX750.1 to power whichever we choose. The ones listed as the one's we're deciding between. Price isn't an issue between them, so please don't take that into consideration when choosing one of the options. She usually prefers the sound of sealed, but I know a ported 12 could also sound tight and hit hard.

I have about 2.3 cuft to work with, my amp will do 800rms bridged at 4ohm, and i have 200 bucks. i want to go with a single 15. i have been looking at DD audio, DC sound labs, Fi, soundstream, and mb quarts. i am not real familiar with DD, DC, or Fi. any suggestions. My listening preference is wide. At 2.3 cuft I may have to go sealed.

I think I finally decided on the Q. Now I just don't know which options are going to work best. I don't have an amp yet, but plan on getting something that is around 1200-1500. What I'm looking for in a sub, is one that will work best in a small sealed enclosure (around 1 cube), has great transient response, and can drop low. It is an old, old sub now, but my favorite by far has been the MASS 2012, and I just can't find a sub that is equal or better. Hey i just got 2 12 xs 12dv2 but then i want 1 15 dv2 which one would be louder or how much difference let me know guys this is my first time buying pbx

I've decided to do a wall in my Blazer for 2 FI BTL 18's. They will be powered by a Concept 2410 on each. My question is for those experienced with walls. Is there a loss of deep bass by porting toward the front vs. toward the back hatch? I'm really just wanting to know what will happen as I have never tried a wall before. I'm sure that there will be an increase in air movement inside the vehicle. Thanks for your help. Kevin
