I really don't have the time right now to build a box for my sub. I've been in contact with three local shops that I've done business with before, and here are the options they gave me. Two of them have pre-made ported boxes (I know, I know) for $70. One of them can do a custom box for $125 and another one can do one for $150. I have a sealed box that I was going to use for the time being. I could get the pre-fab box within the next month or so. Otherwise I'd probably need to wait until sometime this spring to get one custom built. So, would it just be better to run my sub sealed for now and wait a little longer for a custom box? I have a set of alpine type R compenent speakers and the mounting depth is 2 5/18 and my cars stock speaker location is 2 5/20. How would I be able fit them if possible. Would a kick pod work? I need help asap.

As I got my mag from when the new batch just came out and my sub is logoless (No it was not stolen, Nick already knows I have it) what do the new mags with a logo look like? I went to the sticker shop and got a logo made for mine saying SI MAG but I want to see the official thing?

So I noticed that my right front stage seemed to be lacking lately. did a close examination... switched the left and right outputs on the amp to see if it might be the amp... but to no avail. the mid works o.k. about 1/2 output I'd say... but the tweet is really seems lacking... did my X-over take a dump? the little light/fuse seems in tack. heat mang. thing... IDK...

So i am looking into a clean sounding component set that could keep up with 3 SA 10's Budget is not a huge matter in this as I was looking at the focal krx3. If I don't have to spend that much and keep everything in factory locations then that would be great. Going in a 2013 tundra. Plan on running them off a CT Sounds 125.2

This is my first post here so wassup. I'm tryin to upgrade from my Kicker CompVR to a MagnumD2 12" but i need to know whether or not they come in or can you order one in dual4 ohm. I have a Kicker 600.1 amp and i wanna use the whole 600w on the D2. If someone could help me out. Thanx.

Planning on putting either the 15" Fi Q I already have or getting a 15" BL in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both would be in a ported box to specs. I've read hundreds of user reviews and have a good idea of what both can do. The Q I've only heard in a sealed box with around 1.8 cu ft at the most. Would it honestly be worth it to go through the process of selling my Q and getting a BL? Looking for ""SQL"" and basically if the BL isn't going to be noticably louder considering the Q will play lower I'm going to stick with the Q. But idk what would you do? I definately want output while mainting decent sound, playing low etc.

About to add a full Treo system to my 2000 Buick LeSabre. Is this good to go with because I listen to alot of Chopped and Screwed music? Subwoofer: 2 TSX 12 Mids and highs: TS 6.5 Amps: Solid Audio F20 and F29

I am new to the forum. I am looking at the 12"Magnum. Currently I have a PG t1200.1 and a t500.2 for my front stage. I am considering downgrading to a second 500.2. Would the Magnum do well with only 500 or so watts? Or should I just keep the big amp. I don't really need tons of output, just loud good sounding music. Also, what would the best cu ft be for a box for a single 12" Magnum? I have done some searching but didn't really find an exact answer. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim

I wanted to make use of my DD mids and put them in the burb doors. I dont have any tweeters or a crossover so i contacted upstage audio about some CDT ones. He offered me the tw-24 tweeter with 456 crossover for a nice price. My question is, will my DD's with a dcr of 3.5ohms pair up with the 4ohm tweeter and crossover without any problems ? He also offered me an orion P series crossover instead of the cdt one. I have no idea if the Orion would be better. I think the Orion mids have a lower dcr, somewhere near the DD's...could be wrong though please excuse any spelling errors, i cant get it down pat today for some reason

Hello, this would be my first go with a sundown product and I wanted to see any users opinions on the idea. The sub woofers will be receiving power from a mmats 2000.1 so the subs in theory not accounting for freq. or box rise etc. would get 500 per. The enclosure will be sealed shooting for a little bit higher Q around .8 as I like the warmer sound. I'm not a huge fan of dampened or critically dampened sealed boxes. Basically I am at an impasse as it would seem with the current sale it would be stupid to miss out on the SA's as I could potentially up grade power later on these vs the SD. i am planning on getting a 12" 2ohm dvc lethal injection and the buy is claiming that wired in paralell it will run at 1 ohm and be able to handle 1000watts rms. is this true?

how and what all do i need to make sure both of my subs and all the voicecoils are working? the bass got less as deep the other day when i had my comps put in last week so i wanna check the subs to make sure nothing went wrong.....

Picked up a little something today. Haven't hooked them up yet but for $5 a piece they will at least make good decorations if they don't work.

So a buddy of mine gave me his 2 L7's and an amp (that shall not be named as I fear I would be stoned to death). He told me the l7's didn't work but I took them anyways. You can see where there was a little melting going on. For the first sub I tested each voice coil and only one coil worked. The coil that didn't work is pictured above I haven't tested the second sub but the only thing noticably wrong is one of the wires is disconnected on the positive voice coil, which I will solder(sp?) back together. What would you pay for a pair of used but not abused 12" L7s? Im trying to sell my L7s but dont know what to put as the price. BOth are pretty much mint but 1 has a small scuff on the surround.
