The site says 1cuft per sub ...so should I go 2cuft net for both...or a lil more? lets say 2.2 cuft for both And also...I am thinking of getting a Lanzar Opti2000d. Is that a good choice for these subs? the opti will give them 350wrms (which they are rated at) @ 4ohm Thanks my first post here

right now i have a 15" TC Sounds LMS-5400. when i bought it i was looking for very clean and loud bass. the LMS-5400 is without a doubt the nicest sounding subwoofer i have ever heard, but now i want to go even louder. i don't really care if the subwoofer sounds increadibly clean and undistorted because i'm just looking for more output. I was looking at either the 18" TC Sounds TC5200 or the 18" FI BTL. What should i get?? any input would be appreciated!

Hey everyone. I came across this forum through caraudio.com and thought i would try to get some help here. Just like the title says...I have an AA Avalanche in that box right now with 1000 watts and it's just not loud enough. My budget is about 300 (cheaper the better). I have an eD nine.1 to power so i can give it 1200 clean watts at 1 ohm, and i would like to use the same box. I know it is tuned more for SQ but it is still a decent size. I was looking at the Fi BL, SI Mag, and TC-3000 (although that one cannot be wired to 1 ohm). The BL and Mag are really intriguing me after doing some research... (Also, where can i get Mags and how much? I can't seem to find that info …

what can i put on the crack to help it hold together for the time being, its a sligh crack, and its not really getting any bigger, but it probably will with time, i bought it for the mini cooper, and im gonna use it until i need a recone. it doesnt have any affect on performance so at the moment a recone doesnt concern me. but im wondering if theyres anything i can put on the crack to help hold it together (hopefully something that wont be too ugly either) but ill have to live with it. http://www.sounddomain.com/ride/2346787/12 So far they're in 3.25cf sealed a piece... if I need to, I can always port them to 40 or 45hz with a pair of 6" ports per sub, and hit the magical 150 mark fairly easily But I want to try for 150 without porting

I always see the ports extending INTO the box...what if the port was on the OUTSIDE of the box? Would this make any difference?

  14. Thought I'd post this in behalf of my buddy Marcos (Mega Heavy Bass), who competed in a dBDrag event today with 4 x Stereo Integrity 15's. I will let him fill you in on the scores, but for now, I leave you with this: Oh, and remember - this wasn't built as a burp machine but as something to play music. The SPL is just a by-product Stereo Integrity = teh win

was going to buy another 15 and have two 15's in a sealed box off 1500 rms, but been told by some guys from team kicker that my zx1500.1 can run at 1 ohm daily all day. So now i may just switch out my crossfire vr1000d for the zx1500.1. With the difference of 500 rms, should i notice an audible difference. I just can't afford the other 15 right now and i know that one 15 ported vs. two 15's sealed should get me the same output.any help is appreciated

I plan on getting a SI Mag D2 15 in the near future and I'm wondering what kind of box I can make to get the best of it. The limits of the trunk of my car are 16" high, 16" deep, and 36" long, or about a total of 4.2 cubes max internal volume. Would it make more sense to go for a large (~3 cubes) sealed enclosure (Decware Wedge style) or a amaller (~3 cubes after displacement and port) ported enclosure? Quality of sound is the most important factor, but I'd prefer lots and lots of that quality sound. The more headroom I can get, the happier I'll be. It will be powered by an Orion 1200D. It will replace two IA LI 12s sharing ~3.2 cubes at 32hz.
