1st of all, im new to the forum.. so hi everyone Had a demo of a 12" Mag two years back, in canada - the car was ratting at an SPL probably similar to the subs' output, so it wasn't exactly an ideal install and demo... however, i got interested, enough now to spring for one. but i live in switzerland. how do I get one? pls help... me wants MAG bad!! I need clarification on something. I am doing a weird wiring scheme for some tweeters, well I think I might. I have 10 tweeters that have a nominal impedance of 6 ohms. I need confirmation on the load if wired in this fashion. 3-2-2-3 By my calculation this would give me a final load of 3.75, correct? Each set is wired in series, then all 4 sets are wired in paralell.

I was listening to stereo pretty loud last night and every thing was fine. i went to leave today and i notice my rear side speakers were not working right. They are JBl 2 way 6x9 GTO 's. they came with the truck from the previous owner. They are rated at 150 watts. i had a 2 channel MTX 280 watt amp hooked up to them running at about half turned up. Now only the tweeter or the little spekear in the center of it is working. All i here is the highs and no mids. I checked all the connections and even hooked it back up to the head unit and still the same result. The fronts are just off the head unit and they are fine. I don't know what i did?? he bought it used off ebay and on the cone it has the logo that says "RE", not the other logo. it pretty much looks just like this: so i'm THINKING it might be an SX but i'm not sure...is there any way to find out without having to send it in to RE and ask them?

sooooo, here is what is going in my truck this weekend... 8 SI BM 12"s, 2 Sundown audio SAZ1500D's, and 2 SAX100.2's should be a purty fun install. pics and testing results will be posted up here after the weekend.

good combo? 2 15mags and 2 massive audio p1000.1 amps...i was told the p3000.1 or the 1000.1 but the 3000.1 is huge and would take up too much space and also cost $50 more. or is their a better combo amp/sub to run besides these subs? thanks! the IA 20.1 is "out of stock for a while"

Well I was out pricing enclosures today & dude told me around $300 for a fiberglass enclosure. Anyone know of a better deal or am I stuck paying as much for the box as I did for the sub...err, almost as much.

ok im new here.... i have a 2006 nissan maxima first i was lookin at 2 13w7s...then 2 kicker 15 L7s but now i have been put on 2 15" SI Mags... i juss dont no very much about these subs if i was to buy these where could i install them? at any regular audio shop? because i no im not goin to do it myself. thanks i appreciate it!

I hear that TC produces subs for Eclipse. Assuming this is true, what similarities do TC and SS subs have with eclipse? The motors look somewhat similar. Just curious, thats all. My brother has installed a few eclipse and noticed the similar packaging that my rlp subs were shipped in. Does TC produce any other brand names? btw http://www.tcsounds.com/ is not working

ive got a chance to pick up a blown 12'' AA avalanche, is it possible to put any sort of SI soft parts on the sub? i dont really remember is the ava is a 2.5 or a 3'' VC. thankies much.

ok maybe not so spyish, but what the heck, I had a camera and i was bored. I took an AVI of the 54 with a strobe light, its probably one of the coolest things to look at if you are into high excursion design. Its literally like watching high excursion in very slow motion. I have to edit the video, but I'll post it soon. TC3k next to an LMS-54 proto. I thought I read some where that Mark was going to have a 15" sub available in the future. If this is true, will it be DVC 4 ohm or will it be SVC 4 ohm? Whats the RMS going to be for it?

i searched and i saw posts that say 1/2 volume for 30 min ppl say 2 days 1 1/2 hour each day 15 out of 35 volume. no break in (that is BS i think). witch is best? i have a hifonics running 1000@1Ohm. i was going to do volume 15 out of 35 on my alpine w200 for 2 hours listing to randome stuff. maybe even let the car run and watch some tv for a few hours. should i listen to very bass intence music at low volume? like visionsofthefuture.mp3, ResponseTest.mp3, SubBassEffects.mp3, BassCheck.mp3, ect. all from http://realmofexcursion.com/

ok so im looking at getting a bigger 4channel for my my cdt comps and my 6x9's and my question was how much do you guys think i should put on the cdt's??? I have the cdt ef-61fg's by the way so if anyone could help me out on this it would be great cause i only have a small older alpine 40x4 on everything right now and i know my cdt comps can get alot louder and more clean.O and another thing is that i wanna have ALL speakers amped in my car cause i dont wanna bridge the amp or run a 2channel to the fronts and run the 6x9's on HU power so thats why im lookin for the bigger 4channel. I am working on an SQ-oriented install and am trying to figure out where I want everything laid out. Anyway, is there any major drawback someone can come up with if I were to fire the subs up (sealed box)? I know the only true way to find out is to try it and see, but the box dimensions will be different depending on the direction (an I don't have time to build 2-4 boxes and find out). Any quick tips or ideas are greatly appreciated. ML

Hey guys I used the search feature to do as much research as I could. I would again like to ask the opinion of the masses on a particular subject My question is I was going to purchase the cdt 6.5 inch ef61 pro euro frame components with the upgraded tw 25 tweeter. The rms on these is 140 watts. Just what my amp makes x2 at 14 volts. The problem I have is I was going to spring for the cdt hd 62 high def components but the rms on these is 180 watts. Should I stick with the ef61 and power them perfectly or spring for the high defs and toss a little less power to a better set up? Both will fill the bill for what I need but I am unsure as to what to do. I do want to go with t…

I tried the search feature on this topic but need more help due to the Oz sub I will be asking about not being in any threads. I am putting together a new system for a 06 wrx sti. I want good sq but also the ability to get loud. Not anything crazy but loud. I will ask about the woofers as this is the woofer forum. I planned to do a single 15. It is between the tc2000 and Oz audio matrix elite and rlp 15. First off what are your opinions on these three woofers? I cannot find much on the Oz on the forums.
