ok so since im pretty much upgrading my whole system i wanted to throw some subs in the mix and see what you guys think.....ok ill try and remember all these,...Rl-p,type-r,asenal or maybe even havoc,RE SE,massive audio (ANY),DD,audioque.....ummm cant really remember anymore right now but i thougt there were a couple more.Now im mainly looking for SPL here cause i think i wanna go into a couple of local comps that are held around here,but at the same time i dont want them to pound and sound like wet sloppy poop doing it.

Subs Well there you go... 56k beware tho.. at the end i turn it up a little more.. sadly when i was mountin my 12" back in my box i accidentally slipped and the screw driver went through the soft part... of the cone.. using silicon to fix it tho.. hopefully when i get back from a 5 month vacation nick will recone it for me... atleast i hope so if not i guess ill have to buy 4 15"s and wall it?? or just put em in th eback of my car

how much port area should you give a Mag 15? im thinkin about getting one to replace my 12w7.

ok, I've pre-ordered some mpyreaudio mids but they put out the 4 ohm mids for adire extremis (i only pre-ordered because there was no 4 ohm version) plus it's a cheaper driver. Specs are similar but not exactly the same. I'm guessing they will be similar but I will be putting it IB in the doors. Does either one have an advantage in the doors (according to specs)? I forgot what specs to look for to see a better IB driver.

The second battery resides behind the passenger seat which is un-covered at the moment and I installed the HO alt today. Voltage at idle is 14.5 volts and everything is louder. The Sundown Audio amplifier LOVES voltage for sure - on the Fall Out Boy CD it was just as loud on vol. 50 as it was previously on 60. My doors also rattle more now than they used to. And the sub stage is considerably louder now since the amplifier is actually getting the voltage that it needs. I can finally get the subs moving over an inch. Mad props to multiple batteries and HO alts!

I have two 10w0-4's laying around and my buddy has a 21 Chris Craft with a crap ass stock stereo. I am going to "give" him my 10w0 to use so I have something to listen to in his boat. He has a RFPunch 301x (75w x 4 at 2ohm or 40x4 at 4). Currently we are going to bridge the back 2 channels for the subs and power the fronts off the other half of the amp. Hopefully he will give me some money to spend on a sub amp shortly thereafter. JL's rec'd ae for .75cuft sealed or 1.25 ported for a car. Without cabin gain would you use a different size. We're selling the heck out of these long-awaited amps. But we haven't had a chance to actually hear any of the 2-channel amps on any subs yet. We stock the 200.2, 400.2, and 600.2. The amps have been very, very well received. But all our sales so far have been over-the-counter sales. Haven't actually had a chance to see how they compare to say the XTA series from SoundStream that we had prior to the release of the AutoSound amplifiers. Any dissappointments or surprises with the ASA amps? Any expected availability date on the ASA 1000.1 and 2000.1 amps?

What do ya'll think of the Tang Band 8's??? ...like three or four sealed.

I know these subs are designed more for SPL, but which of these subs has better SQ? Which can get louder and move more air? Thanks for any advice.

OK, well wondering what your opinion is on dedicated midbass drivers like the JL 6W0, TB 6.5, EU-700 and things of that sort? If one say had a higher frequency range say 10hz-4khz, would you use it? in a 2way or 3way setup? vented or sealed or in door. What price would you go for?

i just picked up 4 ES-15Dv.2 im gonna push them with 2 soundstream 1700d's im putting them in a wall in back of my 1997 dodge extended cab pickup any ideas on box? im replacing my memphis m3's with these subs.. ill try to get on here as soon as i figure it out....

i have treo ssi 15s now, their the 2005 models. i get around a 143 at 30 hz now. i like disgustingly low bass at ridiculous sound levels.. but i am going to be putting a wall in my truck. i plan to use us amps, you cant change my mind on that. Anyhow feedback on subs would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for recommended box size and tuneing to produce the most bass I have some competition now... so i decided to take out the back seats and install my other mag and port it.

First im going to do the 6.5's then the Assasin's. Well, Got them installed yesterday. I must say in short, well worth the money. I bought these 6.5" Co-Axil's as a stand in for a pair of Type-R 6.5"-Axil's. I've heard the Type R's before but these where tons cheaper. im looking for a good pair of components for an SQ install 6.5" for around $200 shipped, going at around 65w at 4 ohms or 180 at 4 ohm. do yall have any suggestions? and if so where to purchase them as well, im going 2 be playing them with a US Amps merlin md-41 amp.

Normally i would put this in the SPL forum but they dont move very fast. Im looking at Inviminator's new 187's, Used LI's, a single SX 15 and then there is a possibilty for an older Magnum SI. We are talking a structly SPL set up with around 1kw of power to deal with. im going to be running an Amature Street 1 with MECA and Street B with dB drag. Which has more SPL potential and room for error?
