Subs Well there you go... 56k beware tho.. at the end i turn it up a little more.. sadly when i was mountin my 12" back in my box i accidentally slipped and the screw driver went through the soft part... of the cone.. using silicon to fix it tho.. hopefully when i get back from a 5 month vacation nick will recone it for me... atleast i hope so if not i guess ill have to buy 4 15"s and wall it?? or just put em in th eback of my car

As many of you know, I was looking around for a high excursion 18" driver with a relatively high efficiency, low inductance, mid Q and low Fs for primarily IB use at a price of around $300 and couldn't find anything that combined all of my criteria. So, I got ahold of Adire to see what they could cook up. Info is down below. They "quoted" me a cost of around $250 per driver for an order quantity of 12. Normally i would put this in the SPL forum but they dont move very fast. Im looking at Inviminator's new 187's, Used LI's, a single SX 15 and then there is a possibilty for an older Magnum SI. We are talking a structly SPL set up with around 1kw of power to deal with. im going to be running an Amature Street 1 with MECA and Street B with dB drag. Which has more SPL potential and room for error?

ok, I've pre-ordered some mpyreaudio mids but they put out the 4 ohm mids for adire extremis (i only pre-ordered because there was no 4 ohm version) plus it's a cheaper driver. Specs are similar but not exactly the same. I'm guessing they will be similar but I will be putting it IB in the doors. Does either one have an advantage in the doors (according to specs)? I forgot what specs to look for to see a better IB driver.

i just picked up 4 ES-15Dv.2 im gonna push them with 2 soundstream 1700d's im putting them in a wall in back of my 1997 dodge extended cab pickup any ideas on box? im replacing my memphis m3's with these subs.. ill try to get on here as soon as i figure it out....

OK, well wondering what your opinion is on dedicated midbass drivers like the JL 6W0, TB 6.5, EU-700 and things of that sort? If one say had a higher frequency range say 10hz-4khz, would you use it? in a 2way or 3way setup? vented or sealed or in door. What price would you go for?

I have two 10w0-4's laying around and my buddy has a 21 Chris Craft with a crap ass stock stereo. I am going to "give" him my 10w0 to use so I have something to listen to in his boat. He has a RFPunch 301x (75w x 4 at 2ohm or 40x4 at 4). Currently we are going to bridge the back 2 channels for the subs and power the fronts off the other half of the amp. Hopefully he will give me some money to spend on a sub amp shortly thereafter. JL's rec'd ae for .75cuft sealed or 1.25 ported for a car. Without cabin gain would you use a different size. The second battery resides behind the passenger seat which is un-covered at the moment and I installed the HO alt today. Voltage at idle is 14.5 volts and everything is louder. The Sundown Audio amplifier LOVES voltage for sure - on the Fall Out Boy CD it was just as loud on vol. 50 as it was previously on 60. My doors also rattle more now than they used to. And the sub stage is considerably louder now since the amplifier is actually getting the voltage that it needs. I can finally get the subs moving over an inch. Mad props to multiple batteries and HO alts!

Looking for recommended box size and tuneing to produce the most bass I have some competition now... so i decided to take out the back seats and install my other mag and port it.

I know these subs are designed more for SPL, but which of these subs has better SQ? Which can get louder and move more air? Thanks for any advice.

ok ladies and gents...Nick and his dad dropped the car off last night at my place, and i'm just now getting around to getting all of the materials rounded up for everything that i need. I'll be posting pics later of the tear down of the car and the current install that is in it and the prep work and hopefully we'll have a fiberglass tub for the bottom part of the enclosure and the start of the top done tonight. Im getting a new vehicle as soon as mine dies which is going to be in a couple of months im upgradeing the system as well with the nw purchase so with that said I need suggestsions on cars that 2x 15" SI D2's will fit in. good news for me. seems like there will be an re audio and adire audio in romania which one of adire's or re's subs competes to the rl-i 10 ? seems to me like koda 10 would be a contender in the rl-i price range... i have to talk to the dealer, maybe he can find a way to import an ss *fingers crossed*

First im going to do the 6.5's then the Assasin's. Well, Got them installed yesterday. I must say in short, well worth the money. I bought these 6.5" Co-Axil's as a stand in for a pair of Type-R 6.5"-Axil's. I've heard the Type R's before but these where tons cheaper. my amps turned on when i turn it on my sub turns on cuz it makes a thump .. Then when i play music it bearly moves.. it doesnt smell burned.. what is the problem? Jordan
